Nuffy Bear Day Nursery Brondesbury Park

Overall, couldn't recommend highly enough.

We came across Nuffy Bear Nursery during the covid-19 pandemic as key worker parents, as they were one of the few nurseries still operating. They were hugely welcoming to us in this crisis and were flexible in adapting days and drop-off times to support our NHS work. They worked so hard to get our children to settle in quickly and were always reassuring and supportive. They have been our key worker heroes during the pandemic, and we reluctantly left them in July 2020. Huge thanks to the manager and brilliant members of staff - two of them in particular. Their attitude of being so helpful and friendly during this hugely stressful time for us will never be forgotten.

Very nice and friendly nursery. Stable, low retention of staff, most of the teachers know my daughter since her time in the 'baby room'. Not so excellent outdoor facilities but the nursery has access to studios in the gym. Kids benefit from yoga and swimming classes, which we find excellent and our daughter absolutely loves it. They also do weekly cooking classes. Another plus, they celebrate all different special days from different religions, traditions and cultures.

My daughter has been attending Nuffy Bear Day Nursery for over 2 years and absolutely loves it there. She has epilepsy and a learning delay and the staff there have gone above and beyond to help with her progress and development. We have regular meetings to set new targets and to keep me up to date with her progress. She has come on so much since she started there and I’ll be so sad to see her leave when she starts reception next year.

There’s plenty of opportunities for parents to give input during parent meetings and there’s always tea parties and activities going on. The staff there encourage parents to come in for all of these and it’s amazing to watch the children in this environment, one that they are clearly so comfortable in.

Every member of the team at Nuffy Bear are clearly doing a fabulous job and the management are just as amazing. I couldn’t recommend this nursery enough. I just wish there were more nurseries out there of this standard.

We have been at the nursery just over a year since my son was 15 months and I love it. The nursery is small, which was a priority for me having had experience of much larger nurseries. I feel that he gets a lot of attention from the staff, especially at the start when he was new. The setting is not crowded and the infrastructure feels good. The nursery offers a variety of activities, it makes excellent (and frequent) use of the gym and outdoor space available to it and there are lots of opportunities throughout the year to see your child in action as they hold a lot of events/parties for families to attend. Finally, all the staff are very loving, which is really important for me when it comes to small children. So far, it has been a very positive experience for all of us.

My daughter has been at this nursery since she was 10 months old - the staff are amazing, are highly experienced, and have all been there for a long time. My daughter is now three, and is in the pre-school room that she loves.

My daughter was diagnosed with Type 1 diabetes in May and all the staff and the chef at the nursery have been incredible in supporting me and my daughter through this. I can rely on the team at Nuffy Bear to administer her medicine and it is such a relief to me and my partner that she is in such professional care.

The wide range of activities they do there (because it's located in a gym), including swimming and yoga, is another reason I think it's an exceptional facility.

I love the nursery and all the staff, and would highly recommend it to anyone who was looking for a nursery in the area.

The staff are lovely and the Manager is extremely accommodating. The nursery offers so many great activities including yoga, dance and swimming and many more. They have their own personal chef which provides and encourages healthy eating.

I highly recommend this nursery, the manager and her team do so much of a brilliant job and creating such a wonderful environment for my son and other kids.

My little boy absolutely loves going to this nursery every day, and that is a testament to what a great environment it is to be in. The range of activities (including the gymnastics and yoga which he loves!), the helpfulness and caring nature of the staff, the other wonderful children...it really is an excellent nursery and we are so pleased that he is able to go there. He has been there for around a year moving from the baby to toddler room and the transition was good, his development is nurtured and encouraged, and he really is thriving there. The staff are very welcoming and give a good lowdown on what has happened during the day - he has continuous interaction and adventures, and there never seems a dull moment! We couldn't ask for more.

It is an excellent nursery with staff who are warm and caring. The children are well looked after in every way with very good food and some great activities.

All the staff are very friendly and accommodating. They take the time to provide an update on each child and always take time out to explain progress if prompted.

Extremely good nursery and staff who love the kids as well as there job. My son loves going to nursery the manager is exceptional and is always there for help when needed.

This is a truly great nursery. Most importantly, the staff really care about the kids and show great warmth, it helps that it is a relatively small nursery where everyone knows each other, you really get a personal touch. My daughter started at 1 year and has been attending for 9 months - she sleeps well, eats lots of healthy food, and is happy which is all you can wish for at this age.

They do a variety of activities and she definitely seems stimulated and challenged. The official outdoor space isn't great which I was worried about for my very energetic one but they use a next door sports ground, nearby parks, and the gym studios so that they have proper space to run around in.

The managers are great and the staff seem happy - there does not appear to have been any staff turnover in the 9 months she has been going which is a great sign.

My favourite nursery. The staff are really amazing and the manager, she's the perfect person in everything. I'm really happy with this nursery and I recommend all to try this nursery.

My son started Nuffy Bear at 16 months, like most children cried when I dropped him off, as there were no familiar faces. As a 1st time mother this was different but knew within time he would settle. I had previously enrolled him in a different nursery but deep down felt something didn't feel right, so starting searching again and I'm grateful I found Nuffy Bear. When visiting I felt it was small but I loved how all staff were friendly/caring. The children also seemed happy and well looked after - plus good Ofsted rating.

I love hearing his daily reports when I pick him up and about all the activities the children are exposed too from soft play, playing outside, dance class, art, swimming etc.

My son loves nursery and I feel very happy that he is safe and secure there. After the first month of settling-in nerves from him and myself, he now toddles off without so much of a backwards glance! The nursery team are very friendly and it’s lovely to see the bond between them and my little boy. We feel lucky to have found such a good nursery on our doorstep.

My child has always been excited to go to nursery and is happy when she gets home, that is all that matters! The staff are always very welcoming and easy to talk to. It is also very handy that they are based alongside a gym!

Over the 2 years, through the staff and management's care we know that our daughter is happy, infact some days does not want to come home !!:)

We would highly recommend Nuffy Bear Nursery. Our daughter started when she was 6 months old and is now 2 and a half. Nuffy Bear has truly become an extension of our family and we are looking forward to having our second daughter attending soon. The quality, care and dedication of the entire team and the variety of activities and learning are what makes this place a top quality nursery. Nutritious meals are prepared daily by an on-site chef and every week, the kids are baking/cooking. Our daughter is happy, healthy, making friends and learning so much.

The only downside is that they are quite strict with when your kid is not well but understandable as they want to avoid spreading any bug around the nursery.
