West Street Nursery

This nursery is lovely - my son is so happy here and it's lovely to know he enjoys being here when I am at work. He really loves coming here.

My little girl started here when she was a toddler all the staff are great helped her extremely well with her speech I couldn’t ask for more. I was so nervous about putting her in nursery but after the first visit, they made us feel welcome, and trusting in them to look after my child and do wonders with her. I also have my 2-year-old son in the nursery and he loves it and all the staff. I also like how staff report what they have been doing each day and if you have any problems they're so easy to talk to. I would really recommend it to anyone in the area. My little boys has come on so much since being there.

My son had a speech delay and I was very well supported in the identification of this and in devising support plans at the nursery and home.

My child started out in the Baby room at West Street Nursery and is now in the Preschool room. She has been at West Street for about 2 years now. There's this positive atmosphere at West Street Nursery that gives a parent confidence every time you drop your child. The facilities are really great and teachers always give you feedback about your child's development. In addition to the feedback from teachers, the app gives you real-time updates as to what your child is up to and this just makes managing your child much easier. The staff at West Street seem very well picked as there seems to be a very high level of childcare competence across each of the rooms. A big thank you to everyone at West Street Nursery.

My daughter loves going to nursery, she always has a lovely time and enjoys her time there which makes me as a mother feel very happy, when I pick her up from her day at nursery she always tells me she can't wait to go back tomorrow, the staff are amazing, always friendly, always happy to assist me with any needs or questions that I have and most of all my daughter likes the staff too.

My daughter has been going to this nursery since she was four months old. She enjoys going there to play with her friends. I’m very happy with the way they are taking care of her, especially because I am a French speaker and the staff have learned some words so they can talk to her in French and I really appreciated it. I recommend this nursery.

Excellent management. Friendly, professional and very caring staff. My daughter loves going there. She's been there for two months now and never said that she doesn't want to go. Even the opposite, she asks me sometimes during the weekend if we are going there.

Excellent. We recently moved from South Africa to the UK, with all the upheaval, my 17-month-old son has taken to the nursery and teachers surprisingly well. After being there for two weeks we received a teacher's report, and wow it couldn't be more spot on. This was reassuring, as it showed how well the teachers knew him and his little personality.

The nursery is of a good standard. Ever since my child has been attending the nursery, I've noticed a good impact on his life. The nursery assistants are well trained and organised. The environment is very conducive.

West Street Nursery has cared for both my children, and they have been absolutely amazing each time, there isn’t one bad thing I can say about this nursery or their staff. My children grew so quickly while attending this nursery and they came on leaps and bounds. I’m so happy that I picked this nursery for both of my daughters as I wouldn’t want anybody else caring for them.

Really happy with everything about West Street Nursery from drop off to pick up to communications and how they have dealt with covid. Great team of workers, who genuinely care about my child and are always there for help/advice. They have really made me have faith in when my child starts school. Would 100% recommend.

Excellent nursery overall. The nursery has served as the main pre-school setting for my children.

I highly recommend this nursery to everyone. My boy started nursery in April 2019 and settled really well in there which is really unbelievable because my boy is shy in nature and he doesn’t talk to anyone except Mum and Dad. I really appreciate the effort and patience of the staff towards my son. The staff are very friendly, professional and experienced enough to identify the nature of children and plan the activities exactly with their interest and help them improve each day.

I am very happy with this nursery. As a first time mum, it is very scary to leave your child at all let alone at the age of 9 months. A very warm welcome and I felt I could trust them 100%. I got lots of feedback when getting him, I get updates throughout the day. My son made good friends with the whole team and it will be sad to have to say goodbye.

Lovely and friendly staff. I have been using the establishment for the last ten years and I am still impressed with their duty of care.

While at the nursery we found out one of our children had allergies to a number of foods. This was due to the support of the staff encouraging us not to give and put it down to being a fussy eater but kept on giving us supporting letters for our appointment until finally allergies were confirmed and that wasn’t the end of their support. Adapting their menu for him giving a free from alternative to what the others were eating encouraged inclusivity.

My son just left the nursery to go to school, I would definitely recommend the nursery. Great staff and management. They were really welcoming and show great care. He enjoyed going to the nursery and he even requested to go on the weekends! So I knew my son was in good hands. He made lots of friends there and adored all his teachers. He says, “West Street is the best”!
