Our child receives personalised care at Banana Moon Day Nursery Nunhead, has built strong attachments with his key persons, staff and new friends and has grown in his confidence through his experiences there. We have felt throughout the last 9 months that his needs are consistently met, that our concerns and wishes as parents are always listened to and responded to and we have had a positive transition from home care to nursery care thanks to this.

The staff at Banana Moon Day Nursery Nunhead are caring, creative and fun. Management are great at addressing any concerns and we are really confident in their leadership. Our son has been at the nursery for over 3 years and loves it. We thoroughly recommend.

I recently decided to go forward with Banana Moon Day Nursery Nunhead from November 2020 to prepare myself for the back to work-life being a first-time mum to twins. From the very beginning, each and every staff member has been so kind and as helpful as possible even if they don't know the answers fully. My boys have now settled in months later of course and as soon as they get to the doors of the room they are allocated to there is nothing but smiles and giggles which to me shows that they enjoy their time at nursery. Not only that but we have noticed changes in them when they come home such as when they see a plate of food they sit down ready for their food or even giving you their arm when putting on their jackets and it's just proud moments to see.

They were kind and caring with my daughter that had separation anxiety. She now dances her way in with little to no tears. She always comes out happy and talks about her day. I rarely have to feed her before bed as she had enough food whilst there.

My child has been at this nursery since he was 10months old and he has really enjoyed being there. He has made lots of friends and gets on very well with the staff. The staff are really caring and look after the children so well.

It would be great to have an improved outside area but they have plans for this and are currently making the best of the space they have. We would highly recommend this nursery.

My son has been attending the nursery for a few months now, I love how the staff are towards the children very caring and loving. Definitely a home from home experience. The staff are brilliant in terms of settling your nerves, as a first-time mum I was very anxious leaving my child at nursery, however, the ladies phoned me through the day to ensured that he was doing good.

Both my son and daughter attend the nursery and they are very happy there. My son has been there for 2 and a half years and in that time has built very close relationships with the staff and other children, as have we as parents. They are very keen to involve parents in their child's learning journey as much as possible and always open to new suggestions. The love that the staff have for the children is very apparent and there is no doubt that the children are incredibly well cared for. I would definitely recommend this nursery to other parents and will be sad when the time comes for our children to move on from here.

A welcoming and friendly nursery where both my children are very happy. I am extremely pleased with the care and developmental education that they receive.

Children do a good range of activities and staff are warm and friendly towards them and to each other.

Recently the nursery has seen almost a complete turnover in staff. However, management ensured that there was very little effect on the running of the nursery and as a parent, I was kept informed of what was happening. Children seem happy and are eager to go in. My son had a delay in his speech and this was picked up by the new manager on the very first day! Picked up and referred immediately which I really appreciate. Staff are friendly and takes feedback on board.

My three children have enjoyed this nursery and they all have very happy memories.

The staff at this nursery are so affectionate, sensitive and resilient when it comes to interacting with the children. Our children have learned a lot in the short space of time they have been there. They have a lot of outside space in which to stretch their legs and they are taken on outings in the local community. The new pre-school room is great too.
