Naturally Learning Charlestown

My daughter has been going to the nursery for 2 years. The activities are always varied to ensure she is never bored. The planning that goes into what they learn is great and so nice it is shared with parents on Famly. The thing that makes my daughter the happiest is being outside, she loves the variety of the forest, beach and garden. She gets to learn so much, without knowing it, by being outside and interacting with the other children. She has developed some great friendships which she can carry on into school. The staff are caring and each child seems to have wonderful relationships with different adults. I liked the fact that the nursery is guided by the child on who their keyworker should be rather than just allocated on arrival. The manager and owner are always available to have a chat and resolve any problems/queries, it shows that they care about their business and value their reputation. My daughter is definitely going to miss this place when she starts school in September.

My son has been going to this nursery/pre-school since he could walk and we love the fact that the children visit the forest and the beaches on a daily basis. The staff are all so friendly and very helpful. Thank you for all their hard work!

We have recently moved to Cornwall and looked at many nurseries in St Austell for our daughter. From the moment we stepped into Naturally Learning we knew it was the one. Our daughter actually claps her hands in delight when we drop her off and is never distressed to be left!

Beach and forest school are great for my outdoor loving son, time outside the classroom to learn useful skills for life while having fun. Couldn't have picked a better place for my son to go and have such a great start in life.

A great nursery, fantastic education plans, daily updates on my daughter's performance is great. The staff are lovely and friendly and helped my daughter endless amounts.

The food provided is nutritious and as my daughter tells me ‘much tastier than your food Daddy’!

My daughter has had the most wonderful start in life thanks to Naturally Learning. She loves getting her hands dirty and stuck into learning out in their forest, in their garden and down on the beach. I love that they take toddlers and babies out, not just the older ones. The baby and toddler room downstairs is so cosy and welcoming, all the girls in the room are so caring and really know my daughter incredibly well. I've never known a nursery cook the food like they do but it always looks so amazing, I love that they only use fresh local ingredients too. Our daughter incredibly happy at nursery and so are we.

My daughter has had the best experience here, so many open-ended opportunities for her to explore, creations I would never have thought off. Having a woodland area, pushing their capabilities to their full potential, forest schools and beach schools is just possibilities I never knew were available for their age. The staff are friendly and welcoming, the manager is very approachable and knowledgeable. I have received nothing but support. I can’t thank them enough for enlightening my partner and I as we expect our third child.

Fantastic Nursery with an amazing team. My son simply adores outdoor learning and their private forest is stunning. He loves going down to the beach every week too! He comes home full of wonder every time he is in. It is amazing to see him use Makaton and teach me all the signs. He now knows how to identify different plants and teaches me ones I didn't know! All this and 3 qualified teachers on their staff team is just amazing! My son has learnt so much from being there, his confidence has grown so much and I know that Naturally Learning have helped us give him the best start in life. Watch out school!

Naturally Learning Charlestown is an amazing nursery. My child is so excited to be going to nursery and does not want to come home.

The staff are so warm and welcoming when you arrive to drop off and pick up. The feedback I receive is so personal and informative. My child has a special relationship with her key person which makes drop off and pick up so easy for me. The outside space is amazing. Now they have the woods, my daughter is learning so much about the natural environment and how to use real tools. She enjoys telling me about her day on our way home.

I think it is so important that my daughter is allowed to explore at her own risk and is encourage to do so. I look forward to my daily update through the family app where I get the chance to see what she has been up. The communication is outstanding, we are kept up to date and any questions or enquiries are addressed straight away. I am so grateful for all the work everyone does at Naturally Learning Charlestown for my daughter.

In short, this nursery is everything it should be - with the added value of amazing outdoor activities including Beach School and Forest School, all set in a wonderful location.

The Charlestown nursery and the staff there are absolutely fantastic. My daughter has been coming for 2 years and my youngest has just started. They both love it and have made firm friends with other children but also great relationships with staff members. The Forrest/beach schools are great for the older children, they really get the chance to be themselves and explore the outdoors like little explorers. I love the whole 'natural' ethos of the nursery. The learning through play and the outdoors is great for the children. The food provided is really great quality, healthy and nutritious. I think this is a massive bonus as the children all enjoy lunch together, eating the same food. I'm really pleased I chose to send my children here, the staff are always friendly, approachable, always happy to listen and to help where possible. Highly recommend Charlestown Nursery.

The staff are friendly and caring, in spite of having a high staff turnover. The new deputy manager and existing manager are very helpful, approachable and they communicate with parents well. High staff turnover is the only negative.

My daughter has become more spontaneous and creative since starting with Naturally Learning a few months ago. The environment is perfect for her hands on, exploratory nature. There isn't a plastic toy in sight, and the place does exactly what the name suggests. Our little one loves the ladies that look after her and always talks about them. The food is good too.

I think it is an amazing nursery, the staff are always friendly and helpful. My son absolutely loves going to naturally learning. He has learned more since moving him to naturally learning than he did at his previous setting. There is also beech school and forest school which my son loves.

Very Happy with this Nursery. Would definitely recommend. My son has been attending for 2 years and we've never had any issues. Staff always very friendly and helpful. Healthy snacks and lunchtimes my son was always happy to eat most things on offer or st least try them!

Our child loves going and we receive reports of her day/progress every time she attends.

Staff are clearly very passionate and friendly, our child has had no problems whatsoever developing a relationship with any of them.

The nursery go above and beyond the standard care, and go to great lengths to ensure our child is accommodated for in terms of dietary requirements.

Would absolutely recommend this nursery! Our child loves it and we always feel content with the service.

My daughter loves coming here the Staff are fantastic! So friendly & always can tell you lots about what your child has got up to during the day. We love that she gets to go to beach school where she learns so much & looking forward to her starting forest school. Always so much for her to do when she gets there we especially love the garden area. Wish I'd found this place when I had my son!

I love taking my son to Naturally Learning they are so friendly and approachable, they are very understanding about anything. I like the fact that they have a booklet that stays in my sons bag so I can see what he has been doing throughout the day. I have never met such polite people in all my life. I'm glad that my son loves going to Naturally Learning.
