Little Bear’s in East Village opened in 2013 providing full, all-inclusive, daycare for children aged from 3-months to 5-years. The brand new 72 place setting is situated within the former London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Village, in East Village and is adjacent to Chobham Academy.

Little Bear's in East Village is a vibrant and welcoming nursery that prides itself on building strong parent relationships to create a stimulating family environment for the children in their care.

All childcarers are highly qualified and follow the Early Year's Foundation Stage to support the children both educationally, but also emotionally. The Little Bear's team focus upon creating an atmosphere of respect and kindness to nurture children to grow.

The setting has a large, secure, well-designed garden with a variety of outdoor equipment, seating areas and soft surfaces. The garden is well resourced to encourage safe play and exploration. A free flow system, is in operation, encouraging the children to access the outdoors.

Little Bear's also supports Free Educational Entitlement for 2-year-old children well as the free Early Education Funding Entitlement for 3 and 4-year-olds.

Our and our son's experience at Little Bear's has been great so far. He was on the young side when he started and the settling-in process felt age-appropriate and thorough. He enjoys his time there and has developed such a great relationship with his key person and the other staff in the room. Very

Little bears has done wonders for my son, he went from screaming all day to loving Nursery and would run to go there. The stuff here worked with him to make him feel comfortable and he's grown so much with his confidence in the time he's been here so far. They have regular observations and photos online
on how there doing which is something I also love about here.
Communication with the management team is brilliant, always so easy to contact.
I would highly recommend here for any parent. Thank you all at Little Bears.

Little Bear's in East Village is a fantastic nursery! We sent our daughter there four years ago, and were so happy, we now send our one year old son there. Our son enjoys his time there and has learned so much already, in such a short time. The staff are friendly, caring, and attentive, and the setting
is lovely, with great facilities and lots for the kids to do. The garden, in particular, is wonderful, with plenty of activities to enjoy. The nursery is well organised, and very well run, always with the child and parents' best interests in mind, and they have very robust safety and covid protocols, which really gives us peace of mind.

Our little daughter started nursery when she was 13 months old and am beyond delighted to see how well she has settled in, thanks to the very well-planned settling days. The staff are extremely loving and caring and really on their toes, ensuring the kids get the best care and learning environment.
I've had no complaints so far and am impressed by the way both the caretakers and the management keep us updated via the app around day-to-day activities and the very articulate periodic observations recorded for each child. Within a couple of months, I can see my little one forming bonds with her favourite members of the staff and has also picked up great skills like self-feeding, greeting hellos and byes, and is trying to learn new words and actions. The outdoor play area is a big win too and the nursery is always looking for new and innovative learning activities both indoors and outdoors. Highly recommend and very happy with the nursery overall.

My son has thrived within only a short time at Little Bear's Nursery in Stratford. The staff are warm, welcoming and really show individualised care and attention for each child. The staff take their time to get to know each child as an individual and tailor their approach to learning for that particular
child's needs.


The management team is also amazing and very fast to respond to any situation or query and do so to an exceptionally high standard.


All staff are also extremely professional and have a lot of experience caring for children and always know what best to do for each child as they understand and respect them as an independent, individual.


As a medical doctor (consultant) myself, I feel completely at ease knowing their first aid and basic medical knowledge is such a high standard. I know he is in a safe and caring environment where he can thrive, learn and grow.


I sent my daughter to this nursery previously and I'm so pleased it's exceptional standards continue.

Two of my children have attended this nursery, and I have seen them both flourish. Their confidence, independence, speech and self awareness has been amazing. The staff are always available and attentive. Both my girls have/had amazing rapport with their key workers and I love that I get an update on

We’re really happy with the care that our daughter receives at Little Bears. I was nervous about how she would get on as she was a lockdown baby and had had very few interactions outside the immediate family, but the staff and our daughter’s key worker especially, were really supportive and she ended
up settling brilliantly. Our daughter loves going to nursery at Little Bears, just as her big sister did before her. The staff are kind and caring which gives me great peace of mind. I would highly recommend the nursery. Thank you, Manager, and your team!

We have had both our kids at Little Bears, with one still there at the moment. Both our kids have loved and do love it there. They both have a great relationship with the staff and there has never been any issues moving up through the rooms. The staff all seem to have a genuinely warm and loving relationship
with all of the kids at Little Bears, and it is obvious they all care deeply about the great work they do. We couldn't have picked a better place for our kids to grow up, learn and develop. Thank you Little Bears!

We looked carefully for nurseries as my husband and I are quite picky and careful when it comes to anything related to our daughter. Even though Little Bear's is not the closest choice to us, we contacted them and applied there, because the reviews online done by other parents were just incredible,
making us feel that we only really had one choice to try and go for. Our daughter has been attending the nursery for a couple of months now. The first few days were difficult, but thanks to the carefully designed settlement program of this nursery and the incredibly kind, caring, patient and experienced staff our now 1-year-old daughter feels at home and is happy at the nursery. She looks forward to going to the nursery and she gets greeted every morning with love by the team. She has become a lot more independent ever since she attends Little Bear's. I feel her cognitive growth is notable, too. I am so happy we insisted on sending her to this particular nursery. It's simply incredible!

We moved to Leyton only a few months ago and were worried about our child's transition from his previous nursery. But the Manager and her team made this process really easy for our child, and us too.


We're worried about our child's development but feel at ease because we can see the effort made by

the Deputy Manager and all preschool staff day-to-day in bringing the best out of him.


My wife and I are really impressed with the love that the children receive and can wholeheartedly endorse the nursery.

Our son has been at Little Bear's East Village from one-year-old through to four years old.
The nursery has been fantastic for both his development but also for us as parents.
The three different teams/rooms (baby, 2-3yrs and pre-school) all helped to develop his confidence as he has grown and he
is now truly ready for school in September.
For us as parents, the nursery is very reliable and well run which has been perfect as we both work.
We loved the parent app that kept us in the loop throughout each day with meals, activities and photos.
I have recommended Little Bear's to friends whose children also now go there also.
Huge thanks to the management and the whole team!

I am very fond of LB because:
Our first child started in the baby room from the age of 10 months and stayed at Little Bears’s until Reception. She keeps a wonderful memory of her time in Little Bear's where she met some of her best friends. She often speaks about the staff.
Our baby boy is now going
to Little Bear’s too. He is 18 months and has been going there for the last 7 months. He loves it! His key worker gives him wonderful care. He is entertained, well-fed and happy. They do lots of fun manual activities like painting, collage, pancake-making, etc. Their activities are creative and help the development of the children. They also do a lot of singing and reading, which has a wonderful impact on my baby boy.
I can count on them. If I have any concerns or questions, I know the management team is here to help me. They are dedicated to the children but also to the parents.
Food: healthy, nutritious, and plenty of fruits available during the day

We now have two children at Little Bear's Nursery in East Village and they have both absolutely loved being there. A huge part of that is down to the staff, their care for the kids and the environment they create for them. The settling in process is really flexible, supporting the needs of the child
and the parent, as a result our kids adapted really well to the new routine and the staff. Throughout the challenges of lockdown, the communication with parents was clear, regular and the process for getting the kids back to nursery was managed really well. Considering the circumstances, the staff have remained positive, patient and the kids are really happy to be there, which is all you want as a parent. It will be a sad day when they leave to head off to school!
