Boys & Girls Nursery Rickmansworth

I was very anxious to leave my baby in nursery at the beginning. Now, I know my child is in good hands and all my worries have disappeared.

Both our boys have flourished at Boys & Girls, with the kind, supportive environment provided by the amazing staff. Like any nursery, there is a relatively steady turnover of staff but I think this is very common and it has not led to any negative results in our experience. There are plenty of long standing staff who really know and love the children and who help to inspire the newer or younger staff members. The atmosphere at Boys & Girls has always been a very happy one and with its own purpose built kitchen with the most wonderful chef. We think this nursery offers you all you could wish for. The facilities, in general, are well appointed, clean and hygienic, with excellent attention to detail for the kids. We highly recommend Boys & Girls and wish them all the very best for their ongoing success. If you choose to send your children here, I hope they turn out to be as happy there as our boys.

What I really like about the team is that they all make the effort the know my daughter’s name regardless of which room they work in. The team, in particular, the nursery manager are amazing and are flexible in catering for my childcare needs in particular due to my work commitments, sometimes at short notice!

Most important of all, my daughter loves going to nursery, and with all the activities really gives her a broad environment to learn but also to have fun and make friends!

My daughter has been in the pre-toddler room for over 6 months and she loves it. She settled in incredibly well and now never wants to leave at pick up time. The team are very friendly and caring and my daughter is always learning new things.

Our child has been very happy here over the last 18 months. The staff are always very accommodating, friendly and attentive to the children. The nursery is organised well and we are very happy with all the help they have provided.

My child has been attending Boys & Girls Nursery since 2017. All the staff have been amazing and genuinely care about the wellbeing of the children in their care. They have worked with me to get the best out of my child and it gives me peace of mind when I drop off my child to know that he is in very good hands. I honestly cannot recommend this nursery enough. My son has now attended Boys & Girls Nursery in Rickmansworth for 6 months and his time there has been wonderful. The staff are kind, caring and above all, reassuring. My son took a long time to settle into nursery, but now races in every day and absolutely loves it! We’ve felt very secure and happy with sending our son here and the staff have been wonderful throughout. I would definitely recommend it to friends and family.

My daughter has been attending since she was just under 10 months old and really loves it. The team are all really warm and friendly. Settling in sessions and availability of the screen to check in after the first few, slightly traumatic, drops offs was a huge relief especially to see that she recovered and was happy and comfortable again within a few seconds of us disappearing. Enjoyed the meet the team evening and having a chance to hear more about the days. She loves eating there with her friends and has progressed a lot with the variety of food she eats since joining the nursery. I'm always happy with what she eats as they have a really good varied, healthy menu available including puree options when she started out. All in all have been really happy with the nursery and little one is flourishing there. Would definitely recommend.

My daughter has been going to Boys & Girls nursery in Rickmansworth since April 2018. She loves every minute she spends at the nursery. The staff are great and really approachable.

Leaving your children to go to work and trusting someone else can be daunting but I can defiantly say that Boys & Girls Nursery was a home away from home!

Our son has been attending Boys & Girls Rickmansworth since the start of August and, after a brief difficult settling in period, he is thriving and really enjoys his time there. He initially struggled to get used to being away from Mummy and Daddy but, with the support and kindness from the team in the baby room, he is doing so well.

We can’t say enough good things about the girls that work in the baby room. They are lovely and seem to genuinely care about our son (and all the children). We are happy when we drop him off that he is looked after, embraced and encouraged to develop and not just ‘kept an eye on’.

The manager, Natalie, is amazing. She has been so helpful and very understanding to these first-time parents dropping off their pride and joy!

Overall, we are delighted with our decision to send Alfie to Boys & Girls Rickmansworth and couldn’t recommend the nursery enough!

I have two little ones at Boys & Girls, staff are friendly, warm and nurturing towards the children, especially the babies room. I have loved the fact there is sibling time, which allows my little ones to spend time together too during the day, which is helping my youngest one to settle into nursery life. My daughter has been coming to Boys & Girls Nursery for the last two months. I was nervous at first sending my daughter to nursery but the staff made my husband and I feel very relaxed. She's settled in brilliantly with the help of the wonderful staff. I always watch for a few minutes before collecting her and she's always having a ball. I would recommend Boys & Girls Nursery to everyone.

Both my daughters attend Boys & Girls and both of them love it. Never a day where I have a problem getting them motivated to leave the house for nursery. The staff are attentive, caring and creative. Especially in the baby room they really give everything to ensure a smooth settling in period. Food is excellent too. As well as all the extracurricular activities they offer.

When entering Boys & Girls Nursery, we knew straight away it would be the right choice and they haven't failed us. My daughter only took a few sessions before she was settled in and having the CCTV in reception to watch her, really helped with my own anxiety of leaving her for the first time. There is always lots of activities for her to enjoy which change weekly.

The daily activities are varied, music sessions are a hit and the on site chef cooking, home cooked food a favourite with our little one.

Her key worker, an amazing lady took her under her wing and from then on it was a smooth journey for a year. I can hardly remember of any mornings when she said she didn't want to go to nursery. Being there full time Monday to Friday it was truly her second home. She adored her teachers and loved all the extra activities like Sports, French and TinyMites. Sadly, it is now time to say goodbye as she is moving to big school. I really wish she had more time there. I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery to any parents who are looking for childcare.
