We chose Monkey Puzzle for our youngest following a very bad experience with another nursery during the first lockdown of 2020. We were unable to physically look round Monkey Puzzle when we enquired however the nursery manager ran a Zoom call with us where we had a full tour of the nursery. We liked
what we saw and we felt a real sense of comfort from the manager therefore we enrolled. Since joining in Septem 2020 we have been thoroughly impressed with Monkey Puzzle. The cleanliness is of a high standard. Their hours are very convenient for full time working parents. The children are all fed lovely in house-cooked meals. The team plan and implement lots of exciting play for all age groups on a daily basis. We are regularly kept up to date through an Early Learning App with pictures and videos of their development stages. Our 3-year-old son thoroughly enjoys nursery and is always excited to go. Monkey Puzzle also offer great support to parents too.

Over the last three years, I have had both of my kids go to this nursery. I am so amazed at how much commitment all the staff give to all the children in their care. I am constantly reassured that my kids are okay in eating, learning, developing and having strong interaction with other children. I’ve
seen both of my kids be so independent and enjoy going to nursery. I look forward to pictures and videos to see what the kids have been up to which the nursery do on a daily basis. I would highly recommend this nursery to all my friends and family.

My children have attended Monkey Puzzle for several years now, I can not thank the entire team enough for everything that they do on a daily basis. The resources in place for the children to develop, learn and be creative are excellent.
Especially in this COVID situation where change is expected regularly,
the team have adapted proactively with the interest of the children as a priority. The entire team are exceptional, accommodating and always flexible to parents needs as well as the children. It's a true family!

The staff here have taken extremely good care of our daughter. She commenced attending halfway through pandemic when she was 15-months old, and they have been excellent through an extremely trying period.
Our daughter has flourished here, and there have been many instances of her developing skills
here that we were struggling with at home, from walking, eating independently and socialising with new children and adults.
We viewed a few nurseries before choosing Monkey Puzzle and the key element which convinced us was when the staff member who was showing us around on a viewing visit (pre-COVID), kept getting interrupted by other kids wanting a cuddle from her. We felt this was the best possible endorsement of the staff we needed to see.

My daughter has been attending Monkey Puzzle, High Wycombe since she was 13 months old (now 3 and a half years) and has loved every minute. The staff are brilliant and my daughter has always been happy there. In the last year, since the pandemic, the management team have been exceptional, making good

I have had a child at this nursery since 2015 until now. We’ve loved this nursery. The staff are supportive of the children and their parents. They provide nutritious and delicious food, fantastic learning and playing opportunities and take excellent care of all the children’s needs. I’m grateful for
regular updates about my sons’ progress. And I’ve been super impressed with how the nursery has faced the challenges presented by the pandemic. They have been adaptable, transparent and have gone to great lengths to support the kids, even when we were stuck at home! My first son was well prepared for his transition to reception and I’ll be sad when my second child graduates from Monkey Puzzle!

Choosing a nursery is probably one of the biggest decisions I've made as a parent and Monkey Puzzle has by far been the best place for my son.
From the moment I viewed the nursery I knew this was the right place for us, and my son loved it too, happily interacting with staff and children as we toured
this nursery (he's been here since June 2019).
The staff are incredible, so hardworking and caring. I love that this nursery has a real family feel to it and I know that my son is in the best possible care while I am at work.
The development I have seen in my son has been amazing, he is such a bright, chatty and friendly little boy who grows and develops every day.
I saw a number of nurseries in the High Wycombe area and this is the only one I felt happy to leave my son at.

I began looking at nurseries with a close proximity to the railway station and was unhappy with my search. A friend recommended Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery High Wycombe and I went to see them. On arrival, the manager for the babies room helped me with a tour. I then enrolled and had a few settling in
sessions. From these sessions, I saw how loving and attentive the staff were. I was apprehensive at first as I am a first-time mum and have to commute into London. However, my daughter seems very happy and in the photos I receive she is always playing. I have also noticed staff roll up her sleeves and have a bib on her when feeding her. It’s small details that make me appreciate the staff. The area is also very clean and staff spray and steam the areas during sessions and I have noticed the bedding is also very clean. The managers and admin staff are also extremely helpful so I always feel I can speak to them. I am so pleased to have found this nursery.

Our daughter has been attending Monkey Puzzle since she was 1 and is now in the preschool room. It has had ups and downs in that time but the staff have always been caring and kind and she has always loved going there. We are really happy with it now the new manager and preschool room leader are in
place, and feel they are preparing our daughter well for school. She has made very good friends, the staff have gradually encouraged her independence and she has really enjoyed learning about the various topics preschool have covered this year (especially dinosaurs and Chinese new year). Unfortunately, she had several changes of key worker until she got to the Preschool room but she bonded well with her main keyworker in the baby room who helped her settle and her main keyworker in Toddlers was really great with toilet training. Her keyworker in preschool has been stable and she has a good bond with her.

I would look no further than Monkey Puzzle Day Nursery.
They just ticked all the boxes for us.
The staff are very caring, helpful and professional. They are trying their best to meet our needs, which I am very pleased about.
It is a pleasure to see my precious boy going happily in the nursery and
leaving with a smile. He is very attached to his key worker.
He is learning something new every day and he is socializing with lots of other children.

I have had at least one child attending Monkey Puzzle since 2016 and currently have two children there. I initially chose it due to a feeling I had when I visited; all the nurseries seemed good - friendly staff, happy children, clean enough etc but Monkey Puzzle 'felt' like the right one for our child.
I have not been disappointed.
I'm not saying that everything has always been perfect. I don't believe this would be the case in any nursery but Monkey Puzzle has been excellent the majority of the time and most importantly, both children love going and have learned so much whilst there.
All the staff are always very friendly, go out of their way to help you and they are all genuinely interested in the children, which is the key thing as it means I trust them completely.

Our son is very happy here, he's felt happy even though we are aware he is a little behind the curve, the staff have been really supportive and positive to him. He has gone from being clingy to wanting to go to nursery every day. High praise to the staff who is engaging and so lovely to all the kids,
and management who has really improved communication with parents.

My business background is in administration and finance. Having been an Administrator of a Church of England church and then a Middle School.


I decided to use my expertise and experience to start up the nursery, something I love doing.


I have five grown up children, one fantastic granddaughter and one dog.


In my spare time, I am a member of Rotary International and I am a Worship Leader and Service Leader at our local church, and I sing.


I have got a passion for creating outstanding child development. I also have strong interpersonal skills and a natural ability to bring out the best in the people around, I like challenges. I am particularly interested in children’s literature and documentary films.
