It's been a wonderful experience for my daughter at Monkey Puzzle Bexleyheath and she misses going there now as she's joined school.
The staff have always been exemplary in all aspects and my daughter has been fond of them. I especially commend the learning journals that the nursery have introduced
as it gives parents a chance to see and understand the activities that their children do all day.

My son started Monkey Puzzle when he was about 14 months old. He started in the baby room, then went into Tweenies and then Mini Preschool.
My son absolutely loved it and I completely trusted all the members of staff to look after and care for my son as I would.
The girls who helped look after my
son were all amazing!

My son attended Monkey Puzzle full-time from Sep 2013 when it opened to Sep 2016 when he left for Reception. From Day 1 he has been happy to go. The staff are outstanding; there have been some changes but transitions have been smoothly handled and each key worker has been good. My son formed deep bonds
with all his carers.


There is a good balance of fun and learning activities. Extra activities are arranged like the weekly Theatre Street and Tot Stars classes and visits from the fire brigade, police and the company that brought in creepy crawlies.
The food is excellent and far healthier than school dinners. The chefs teach the older children to cook. There is also a 'Fruit of the Month' session to expose the children to new fruits like pomegranate.


They keep Learning Journals online which means I can log in to see what my son has been doing. On his last day, his key worker asked him who he would miss the most and he said 'All of you because you are all so nice.' Sums it up really.

My two boys joined the nursery 10 months ago and I have seen them develop leaps and bounds. What really attracted me to the nursery was its bright and inviting interior, well-organised rooms, sensory area in the baby room and long opening hours (which is ideal for us city workers). They have a good
food menu with nutritious foods which is brilliant as the kids have learnt to eat new fruits. In the morning, there are always planned activities set up and we can see their development through these activities through carer feedback which demonstrates the child's new skills on an online parent portal. This is highly impressive as both kids are given daily feedback- not something I have experienced in other nurseries. Their phased induction was very helpful as it eased both kids into nursery very well and the staff were brilliant at helping the kids adjust to milestones e.g. toilet training, changing sleep schedules and moving across rooms. Safeguarding is a priority too.

Our Daughter has been in the nursery over a year and we are very happy with the service provided. I have always had peace of mind when leaving her in the nursery as it is very secure and safe. I love the open rooms as I do not have to worry about my child being taken into an unsupervised area, as well
as the freedom to run around. The rooms are very clean and well kept. The owner works there most of the time, he is always willing to help us when we need an extra day, he is a very kind and helpful person. The whole team is very friendly and professional.
We just want to thank all the staff for looking after our daughter :)

My 1 year old son went to the monkey puzzle 4 month ago and I am pleased to see he is having fun and growing up every day. As a first time mum, I am extremely nervous to leave my child with someone else, and I still am as you can imagine! But with monkey puzzle, I am impressed with their security system
and the way they really care about the safety of each child there. They even call me every time when they would like to go for a short trip outside, and I do appreciate that and i think that's what a good nursery should do really, especially with nervous mums like me :) Apart from that, my boy seems to love the food there and would finish off his plate most of the days- that's a big relief for me as I am a bad cook and it's such a joy to know your little one is eating well every day. Overall, can't fault my son's nursery really.
