Spring Nursery Layfield is based in Yarm and provides day care sessions for children aged from 2 months - 11 years.

The nursery is in a purpose-built building situated within Layfield Primary School. The nursery operates from 2 rooms, one of these rooms is for babies from 2 months until they are 3 years.

The nursery provides full and half-day sessions for children of this age, opening at 7.30 on a morning and closing at 6 pm in the evening. All fees are inclusive of meals, which are freshly prepared for the children and menus are approved by a dietician meeting the standards set in the Eat Better, Start Better document issued by Action for Children.

The nursery has been rated 5 stars by environmental health and was graded 'Good' by Ofsted in August 2018. The nursery is able to provide both term time and all year round places for children and provides funded 2 and 3-year-old spaces.

The Second room is a pre-school room for children from 3 - 11 years. The nursery has excellent links with Layfield Primary School and work together to share the 30 hour funded places for children 3 years old.

The nursery also provides breakfast and afterschool club for children attending the school and operate a holiday club which can be accessed by children from other schools within the area.

From our first visit with the Manager to every contact with staff when dropping daughters off, both me and my wife have been amazed with this place. The manager was very flexible with induction visits and it was nice to see there was a progressive element to this (time with us there, short time alone,
longer time than building up to full day). Both our daughters have attended and we have seen both come on so much through spending time there. Both always asked to go and were excited about it. I would fully recommend this nursery to anybody considering childcare in this area.

My little boy has attended ever since he was 1 (now 4) and it has been amazing watching his confidence grow within Spring Nursery Layfield. He has learnt and developed so much and this has really helped him as he is now using this knowledge in school and doing so well because of the effort and time
that Spring Nursery Layfield have put into helping him become such a confident and polite young man. He still attends now before school and during holiday club, and he loves it, he has made so many amazing friends and is always happy, I’m always really confident that they do a fabulous job in such a safe and friendly environment.

Both my children have attended this setting from 10 months to school age and thoroughly enjoyed it, my little girl has just left for school nursery.
The ladies who work here are very accommodating, welcoming and enthusiastic in every thing they do.
I would highly recommend this nursery to my friends
and family.

My little girl enjoys her days at nursery and so did my son who used to attend. He now attends the after school and holiday club and loves it.
The staff are very friendly and willing to help in anyway they can. Communication is excellent and so is flexibility where possible.
Extremely handy being
in the school too.
