Storytime is a private day nursery catering for children from birth upwards.

They employ highly qualified, experienced staff to ensure that your children have the best possible care and education.

Storytime is very much a child-led environment, children are encouraged to be independent decision makers from an early age. This in partnership with a 'Key Person' approach helps the transition from home to nursery run smoothly.

Storytime offers an 'open door' policy allowing existing parents and prospective parents to view the nursery at all times. Robust safeguarding and recruitment procedures ensure that the children's safety and welfare are paramount. While all staff undergo Disclosure and Barring Service checks before commencing employment at Storytime.

Both of my children attend the nursery and both enjoy the time they spend there. They have fun each day and my daughters speech has come on amazingly from the short time she’s been there. I have given feedback directly to the manager from the excellent care and advice given from the staff in the room
my daughter is in.
I can approach staff if I have any issues or concerns and they address them professionally and positively.

My son started this nursery when he was 3 and he has come on leaps and bounds! Had some concerns about him and the nursery has been there every step of the way and gone above and beyond to help, the staff are lovely and caring.

My child is extremely happy at Storytime, she has been at this nursery since she was 10 months old and is now 3. She has been in 3 of the rooms and loved each one. All the staff are caring and friendly.

My son has been very poorly for the last three years, having open heart surgery. It was a difficult decision to put my son in nursery, as finding out only 9 months ago that he had learning needs too, he is non-verbal, and has a degree of anxiety and post-traumatic stress disorder. Storytime nursery
has been patient, very very professional at all times, working with all members of the multidisciplinary team.


My son was eased into nursery only doing an hour at a time, now we have progressed to the full 3 hours and my son trusts all staff, displaying signs of total comfort and his learning needs are met, along with comfort, love and dignity.


I will be forever grateful for all the help Storytime staff have given not only my son but us as a family too.

Very pleased with the care that my daughter receives at Storytime. Staff are always friendly and approachable. Would suggest looking into the ClassDojo app and website. Just makes it easier you to keep in touch with parents and so parents can see what their children are doing throughout the day.

I could not be happier with the nursery. Our twin girls start in early October & are very settled. All the girls are lovely & nothing is any trouble. I feel extremely relaxed in work knowing our girls are very happy learning new skills.

Both of my little girls have been to Storytime and I can’t praise the staff enough for how much they have helped my girls grow and develop. I know that when I drop my little girl of each morning she is in great hands and will enjoy her day.
The only thing for improvement, in my opinion, is that they
need more equipment for the children to play with. But overall a great nursery.

My daughter has completed a year in pre-school within Storytime the guidance and learning
process she has received I could not be any more pleased with. Her progress has been amazing due to the staff in her classroom. I am very pleased with what they have achieved and prepared her to transfer into

My daughter loved her time at Storytime (3 years ). I was amazed at how much it helped her to learn basic skills from such an early age, and it's really helped her to get ready for school.
I always felt confident and reassured and we both built up some lovely relationships with the girls.

Storytime was brilliant with my daughter when she started. Her old nursery was set on fire so she only started halfway through the term and they welcomed her from the first day.
