Kids Planet Greenbank provides a safe and friendly environment for pre-school education and professional day care. A CCTV system adds to the security and parents are able to put their trust in a highly-trained staff who take pride in the strong community reputation they have built up.

Children enjoy meals that are nutritious and prepared daily at the nursery, while the nursery's curriculum incorporates all key areas of the EYFS. Staff look to help children develop their own interests with the help of a key person. The nursery also has a breakfast, after school and holiday club.

Since starting this nursey my son has settled in really well, He loves going have made great relationships with staff and children. The food variety is good and always another option if the child decides not to eat. The children are always outside playing where they can. They have supported my child
throughout his journey and he always comes home happy. Would highly recommend, at this moment I can not fault them

We had a very bad first day and I wasn't impressed. However, other local mums encouraged me to go back as they insisted the team are fantastic and I'm so glad I did.
What makes this nursery is the staff in the rooms. My little girl loves coming here and the team looking after her are incredible. She
has developed so much since she started nearly a year ago and has built amazing relationships with her key worker and rooms assistants. You can tell the team genuinely love the children here. Ap could be a lot better and updates more frequent, management will never smile/acknowledge or say good morning as you walk in but what matters is if your child is happy and being well looked after. Food is great, strong routine, activities are fun and varied and there's always lots of love and cuddles. If a certain five practitioners are in your child's class you have nothing to worry about and your child will be very well looked after.

My son has settled in well at nursery and really enjoys his time there. He has a lovely time playing with his little friends. The team in the baby room are fantastic and very attentive to his needs.
He has developed massively since starting in May, and we look forward to seeing him reach further milestones
as he continues his education at Kids Planet.

All of the staff are extremely friendly and approachable. When I have raised issues with my daughter they have supported her medical needs and she is absolutely thriving.
We cannot believe how much she has developed over the time that she has been at the nursery. She loves nursery and often asks to
go at weekends.
I also cannot thank the staff enough for their support and kindness in helping me to bring her to nursery despite my disability; especially through the pandemic as we are both key workers. It is the little things that they do without even thinking that really mean the most. Thank you, you are all stars to me and my family.

My daughter has attended Greenbank Nursery since February 2021. Everyone is welcoming and if you have any queries you can send them by email and you will always get a response.
The downside is the parent app. I have come across other apps that seem far better than this one. The layout isn't the greatest,
updates are always late and occasionally I never even get anything. Moments, observations and assessments can be hit and miss too which is unfortunate. I also know of parents having parent's evenings/updates on their progress, I have never experienced or received this since she started. I know of others in Kids Planet nurseries and they all seem to operate differently in terms of this? However, my daughter does enjoy going. She does come home a lot after having multiple changes of clothes, wet shoes or food everywhere just in a morning. I have supplied full wetsuits, wellies etc but this remains a mystery a lot of the time. I do recommend the nursery as the children do like it.

Both my children have attended since around 10 months old and we have been very happy with the nursery and wouldn't hesitate to recommend. The outdoor space is excellent and they do lots of activities such as messy play, arts and crafts. The food menu offered is very varied and both have eaten things
at nursery which we cannot get them to eat at home. Staff are great and have built good relationships with the children and are happy to try different routines to help with sleep, feeding etc. They haven't gone out of the nursery as much since Covid, hopefully this will resume soon so they can get back to making trips to the local park and shops. We have recently started going back into the nursery for pick up/drop off and the children are always very happy and engaged in activities when you go into the room.
We have an app to view their daily activities which is great, the only small feedback I'd have is it would be good to see more regular updates.

Both my children have attended Green Bank nursery and I have nothing but good words about it. My eldest has autism and it was the nursery that got the ball rolling on the paperwork and helping me in the right direction. Even though he struggled going there, on the days he attended the staff was always
so lovely with him and put my mind at ease that he would be okay. My youngest is still there now and he absolutely loves it he skips in and skips out. The nursery is very clean, the staff are all lovely and friendly, and the variety of food looks amazing. What more do you need to ask for?

I'm really happy that I've chosen Kids Planet Greenbank for my son. All the staff are happy and enthusiastic and he walks in happy every day. The food seems really good and he seems to do lots of activities. The managers are really friendly and organised. They have responded to the constantly changing
COVID rules quickly, and whilst it would be nice to go inside the nursery when I drop him off and pick him up, the online parent zone website lets me keep track of what he's up to. I was a bit disappointed that as parents, we don't have access to the CCTV but it's good to know it's there.

The nursery have been brilliant with our child, particularly with caring for her during the lockdown. They have been very accommodating of her allergies and eczema. The staff I have met, are kind and friendly. My child never wants to come home at the end of the day so I guess this means she enjoys it
as well.

My son has been at Kids Planet, Greenbank for less than 7 months and I couldn’t be happier. The staff are just amazing. Throughout the whole pandemic, they have been outstanding and always put the kids needs first. They held our places and said to ring if we needed support. My son is extremely happy
there and I feel very happy dropping him off for his three days a week. Very happy parent.

Kids Planet has been absolutely brilliant with all the chaos, since coming out of lockdown. My toddler is always so excited to go to nursery in the morning and the staff are great at keeping us up to date about what she’s been up to. Would definitely recommend to anyone looking for a nursery place.

Very well run nursery, where my child is very happy. The only area which I think can be improved relates to drop off and pick up procedures which were recently changed so that pre-school children use a separate entrance to other nursery children. This can quite often result in having to wait a long
time to either pick up or drop off my child (who is in pre-school) compared to previous COVID pick up/drop off procedures.

My daughter absolutely loves nursery and I’m very happy to send her there. She has made excellent progress with her milestones and often tells me what she’s been up to during the day. She can’t wait to go back the next day. I enjoy all the observations on the parents' website and also being able to
check in on the nursery cam gives me added reassurance that she’s having a great time. I used to have a look a lot, especially when she first started. She loves all the staff there. I feel much less anxious about sending my younger daughter when the time comes. Thank you.

Greenbank Nursery really is like a home from home for my son. The staff are like an extension of our family and the relationships they have with all of the children is heartwarming to see.
I always feel at ease leaving my son in their care and I know they'll always do their best to support all aspects
of his development. He has been at the nursery since just under six months and has thrived there. The quality of care has been consistently outstanding throughout his journey through each of the rooms within the nursery. The way he talks about the staff is a true reflection on the nursery itself.
I really like the access to the outdoor space that he has at Greenbank. He also enjoys the trips out that he goes on (I hear all about them on the way home whenever he goes out).
The food is always freshly cooked on-site too... the only downside to this being that he has become a food snob and "only likes nursery's lasagne"...so I may need a food cooking lessons to up my game, hehe!

Highly recommend this nursery.
Staff are highly attentive and leverage a highly varied array of activities to engage the children.
Lots of outdoor activities (for example, trips to the nearby park) and they have a great garden attached directly to the nursery.

We had two children in the nursery and the staff were generally excellent, both of our children excelled developmentally, academically and socially. However, we were disappointed at how expensive the nursery was and the fact that children had to take public transportation during visits out. As an Educational
Practitioner, I found that somewhat strange. Also, the car park was an issue in terms of entering and leaving the nursery. Nonetheless, both of our children enjoyed their time at Kids Planet and for kids, it’s an amazing place.

We do feel that our price reflects the inclusive approach we have at Kids Planet Greenbank that we provide formula, bottles, wipes, Sudocrem and Sun Cream so parents don’t need to bring these items with them. Our meals are highly nutritious and freshly prepared on-site using no jarred sauces and no added sugar or salt and have recently been highly commended by Nursery World. We offer additional services such as takeaway coffee for parents and a French teacher, sign language teacher and Actiphons all free of charge for parents. We have a highly qualified staff team with two qualified teachers and two additional training towards this within our preschool team.

For our trips out following the Early Years Foundation Stage within the nursery we view using public transport as a fantastic learning opportunity covering sections such as people and communities , mathematics with exchanging money for tickets and also an excellent way of learning new life skills for children who wouldn’t usually get the opportunity to travel by bus and train.

Our car park is busy during peak times between 8.00 - 8.30 and 5.00 - 5.30 when the majority of children are collected but as long as you allow a little bit of time around this there are spaces to park.
