My son loves his nursery and has so much fun, as we see from the updates on the diary. He's now becoming a lot more confident around people and more out of his shell! The staff have always been really nice with us as parents and with my son.

We are really happy with the provision of care for our daughter and our son at Banana Moon Mere Green. They always come out beaming after fun-filled and varied days and we are happy that the menu offers them balanced and nutritious food. We are particularly encouraged by conversations we have with staff
about our children: staff demonstrate a strong understanding of their characters which demonstrates the level of individual care and attention achieved. Whatever the additional needs presented by our children (e.g. teething phases/selective eating phases) the staff go out of their way to accommodate them and make them comfortable and they keep us well informed.

Banana Moon Mere Green has looked after both our daughters who have moved through each of their rooms. The staff are caring and have built good bonds with our girls, and the communications via the app and conversations are detailed and helpful. The food provided on-site is great (ours prefer it to eating
at home I think!) and there’s been a real range and depth to the activities that take place, no mean feat especially during Covid. Speaking of Covid the nursery has taken all necessary steps and is open as often and whenever it is able to.
I’d highly recommend the nursery.

We were really lucky to find Banana Moon Mere Green at the start of the COVID pandemic. The whole team have been brilliant throughout. Excellent communications through these turbulent times, always keeping us informed and ensuring that they do everything they keep children attending and safe. Our daughter
really enjoys her time in the pre-school room. A huge variety of activities keep her occupied - although she does report that it can get ‘too loud’ which we presume is because everyone is having lots of fun. Although the outside space is limited, the kids get an opportunity to run around every day and the make the most of the room they have. The use of the app helps us feel connected with what is going on in the nursery and it works really well.
Special mention to the cooks (who are known by name in our household). They not only seem to produce tasty and healthy meals but (by all accounts) engage with the kids and are really part of the team.

My daughter has been attending Banana Moon since November 2018 and she has absolutely thrived in this supportive and happy environment. The staff in each room have offered exceptional care and she is very excited about joining the Pre-School room very soon!
The nursery offers a wide range of activities
and the app helps to keep me updated on what she is doing throughout the day. Her achievements are always praised and her steps moving forward are always recognised and worked on with personalisation to suit her. The staff are friendly and approachable and show excellent knowledge in their field. The kitchen staff always provide wholesome home-cooked meals, which are varied and interesting.
The nursery has coped tremendously well responding to the COVID-19 pandemic and I have never felt that my child's health has ever been at risk, such is the great care they take. Even though I don't work in the Mere Green area anymore, I would never wish to send her anywhere else.

My son has been attending Banana Moon since he was 6 months old! He has developed and gained so many skills. He is so happy when he is there and all the staff make his time there happy. He is happy and secure and has some lovely meals cooked for him - some would say he eats better than me!
The staff
are a credit, are happy and always inform me of his development. The online diary is brilliant for me to check on him throughout the day.
The management team are happy and friendly and always resolve any queries quickly. Thank you.

Our son has only been at the nursery since September but he has settled in so well thanks for the amazing staff. Shout out to the member of staff for making him feel safe from the first moment she brought him the dinosaur at his settle. The garden is a little small but they’ve made good use of it and
our son always has happy stories to tell from being outside. All staff are more than happy to engage at the door (the best they can during these circumstances!) and are knowledgable and encourage consistency through home life to nursery. Staff are supportive and friendly. The app updates are great and done almost in real-time. I would definitely recommend this nursery!

Our eldest daughter attended for 2 years in the toddler room and pre-school room and our twins have attended for 18 months in the baby room and now toddler room.
We have been very happy with the service we have received from Banana Moon, Mere Green. The facilities are excellent, the staff are caring
but also very professional and most importantly our girls love it there.
The feedback and communication we get is excellent and during the difficult circumstances of 2020-21, we have had no issues whatsoever with any policy changes or how they have been implemented.
The food must be good, as our versions at home are rarely described as being as good as nursery's.
I could not recommend more highly and we take comfort knowing our girls would say exactly the same.

I have 3 children who have each attended different nurseries in their time growing up, and I can honestly say Banana Moon, Mere Green is by far my favourite. The staff are so lovely and friendly, and I feel completely at ease leaving my daughter there. My daughter loves it, and settled in so quickly,
which I think speaks volumes about the setting! I recommend this nursery to anyone who wants to send their child to a warm and welcoming nursery as it’s made life so much easier knowing my daughter is safe, well cared for and has such a good time whilst there. Thanks to all the staff, especially keeping everything safe and keeping the parents informed during what has been a really unusual and difficult year.

Since lockdown and all classes were cancelled, my husband and I decided our daughter needed to mix with children her own age and required more stimulation that we could offer her so we decided to send her to nursery! Initially, one afternoon a week which we increased in January 2021. She wasn’t sure
to begin with and took her a few sessions to settle and now she absolutely loves going, she loves the staff and has made friends. We love receiving her diary updates and seeing what she is doing and we are amazed at the activities she gets up to. When she gets home she is so happy and full of beans and extremely happy. The best decision we made and worth every penny to know she is in such great hands. I have recommended the nursery to a friend and I believe their daughter starts on a Thursday soon. Thank you to all of the staff.

I can’t praise this nursery enough. I was apprehensive after not sending my first to a nursery, but my youngest has thrived here and clearly loves going.

I’ve been incredibly happy with Banana Moon Day Nursery Mere Green. Both my children attend 4 days a week and I know they really love their time there. The staff are brilliant, really care for them both and put so much effort in to help them develop. The variety of activities and food is great too.
The app is a huge differentiator with other nurseries; being able to see what they are both doing through the day and getting regular progress updates really puts me at ease through the day and every photo makes me smile! I couldn’t ask for more!

Banana Moon Mere Green are great. My daughter has been going there two days a week for over a year now. She loves it there. The staff are knowledgeable about my child, caring and have formed a great bond with her.
Throughout the difficulties of COVID-19, they have been prompt in communicating with
families about changes and requirements. Pick up and drop off has been COVID secure. I feel my daughter is as safe as she can be from the virus there during the current pandemic difficulties.
The daily updates on the mobile app about how my daughter is getting on that day are good.

AMAZING! My daughter is new to the setting and the staff have been amazing with her. At her settling in session the staff made sure she felt comfortable and have handled teary drops off really well.
I love how you are able to see what your child is doing through the day via the app especially as this
is the first time my daughter has ever gone to a childcare setting.

Absolutely faultless nursery. My son has additional needs, and Banana Moon has gone above and beyond to ensure all my son's needs are met. He has developed so well during his time here! The staff are all so friendly and helpful. It makes me feel at ease leaving my son here, knowing he is in the care
of these amazing people! The nursery is very well set out, and the different rooms for different ages are perfectly equipped to keep children entertained. The food menu has been very well thought out and has lots of different variety. All in all, I can not fault Banana Moon at all, my son feels so comfortable here, and he doesn’t want to come home!

My child (1 and a half) has been attending 5 days per week for 6 weeks in the Baby Room and he loves it. As he was home with us during lockdown March until August, and with a childminder solo during the day for 6 months prior, we were apprehensive how he would take to a group setting but he is thriving.
He loves all the different activities (some days they have three activities before 10am - amazing!) and we love being kept updated daily through the app with pictures, milestones and little stories about things he has done. The staff all genuinely seem thrilled to be there, and the children feed off the positive energy. They are doing a fantastic job in challenging times. The outdoor space is small, but meets the children's needs. My only feedback would be that it would be helpful to see pictures of the food the children are fed or be advised the ingredients so that parents can know what new vegetables/ingredients are being consumed/liked/disliked etc. 'Veggie stirfry' is a bit broad.

My daughter has attended Banana Moon for just over two years and so has progressed through each of the rooms and is now in the preschool room. At each stage, we have been pleased with how the staff have helped her settle and transition (she isn’t keen on change so this was a big thing for us), supported
her learning and communicated with us.
My daughter is always involved in lots of different fun activities at nursery and brings home lots of lovely work that she has done. She enjoys all the extra activities that the nursery provides for the children, like music classes and outdoor learning. The staff are really kind to all the children and I feel happy leaving her at nursery, knowing that if she’s upset for any reason there is always someone who will look after her and give her a cuddle if she needs it.

Excellent staff. Very caring and child oriented. As a mother of a child who is new to the nursery setting, and was quite distressed during settling, I must say that I am very satisfied with the care received by my son. It’s a lovely nursery, with nice, hard working, friendly staff and a good introduction to school. They do lots of different activities with the children. The only negatives are the outside space is a bit small and some areas could do with a lick of paint. Also, new easier to use matching stair gates
would be good.

Jordain has been qualified for 10 years. She is great will all ages and has been both a preschool room leader and is currently the under 2's room leader. She believes in creating great relationships with families, making it an essential part of her practice, she prides herself on her great relationships.
