The Wolds Day Nursery

My son settled quickly at The Wolds and has been so happy there for the past 3 years. I cannot praise the staff enough, they have been exceptional and provided support, care, fun and enrichment. The activities have been super and the communication with staff and access to photos and information reassuring. There has not been a single instance where I have worried about my son which is invaluable as a working mother. The events like graduation and nativity have been so special. We will both miss everyone so much when he goes to school in September.

Everyone is approachable and every decision made has the children at the core, and I can't fault them.

Our daughter has come to the end of her time at The Wolds, as she starts school in September - but it's safe to say that she has loved every minute of her time there. She has thrived in the care of all the staff that she has encountered, all of whom are incredibly kind, enthusiastic and committed. She has also particularly loved the 'outdoorsy' nature of the setting and for a child who is at her happiest when covered in mud and surrounded by wildlife, it has been just perfect! The curriculum is broad, incredibly engaging and not least, great fun - and has prepared our daughter brilliantly for the challenges of 'big school'. Thank you for being such an important part of her life!

My grandchildren attend the Wolds Nursery. I can not praise the staff and owner enough. The care and nurturing are above and beyond excellent. Every single need is catered for from the moment the children/babies arrive until the minute they leave. It is a truly exceptional Nursery. Thank you one and all.

The Wolds Day Nursery is absolutely brilliant, the staff are all wonderful and friendly and look after the children with such care and attention. The activities they do are so fun, educational and engaging and my daughter has developed so much since being there. I especially love the daily updates and pictures on the app to see what they’ve been up to and to check nap times and meals etc. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

The Wolds have done a brilliant job at nurturing my child. All the staff are brilliant, they are friendly, knowledgeable, fun and dedicated. The field has brought much joy and adventure to my child's experience and they leave ready to start the next chapter in reception, thanks to all the care and support from The Wolds.

Absolutely fantastic nursery that I wholeheartedly recommend. My children are both thriving at The Wolds Day Nursery and look forward to their nursery days. The level of care and support they receive from the staff is incredible, the nutritious food catering to any specific dietary need is cooked on-site by the fantastic chef, and the activities and opportunities are engaging, age-appropriate, stimulating and clearly well thought out and progressional. The links between home and nursery are exceptional with newsletters, a parent forum, daily updates on the parents' app and activities to complete at home such as planting beans, lollipop stick challenges etc. They try and ensure the children are outside as much as possible, either going on walks and adventures or playing in the fantastic garden or outstanding field (preschool). Overall the Wolds team feels like one large family, everyone is approachable and every decision made has the children at the core, and I can't fault them.

Fantastic setting, easy to access with parking spaces. The nursery follows themes, the rooms are tailored perfectly to the children’s age and the practitioners and management are approachable and good to communicate with. The use of modern technology, such as the parents' app, is brilliant and enables you to experience your child’s day from afar where desired. All good is cooked fresh on the day by the chef. I would highly recommend this nursery setting. You genuinely get top class child care with early education embedded from birth.

I have two grandchildren at this nursery and the experiences they get are amazing. The nursery gets the children outside to explore the environment from a young age. I have not been into the setting or met the staff as I work full time, however, I love the daily updates and photos. I have also been amazed by how much my girls have progressed since being there. I would absolutely recommend this nursery.

I feel happy taking my child to the Wolds, knowing that she is in safe hands with a day packed full of thoughtfully planned activities, top quality food and most importantly, caring, nurturing staff. Both my children have excelled at the Wolds. We have been using the nursery since 2016 and it goes from strength to strength, always developing.

Our daughter loves nursery so much. It is a joy to drop her off and see how excited she is. It’s so lovely to know she’s so well looked after and having a fabulous time. We have noticed our daughter's development go from strength to strength since attending nursery.

My son has attended the setting since he was 6-months old. He absolutely loves going! What outsets it from all other nurseries is the love for nature and the outdoors. They always go above and beyond for ideas and what they allow the children to be a part of and it's of an exceptionally high standard. From watching baby chicks hatch to fishing at the lake, my son is always excited to come home and tell us of his daily adventures. I am so happy to have found this nursery and would recommend it 100-percent. Thank you to all the staff involved.

I have used The Wolds Day Nursery for both of my children and I couldn’t imagine my children going anywhere else. It is the best decision we made, the children have been so happy there. We are sadly coming to the end of our nursery journey but it has been the best journey thanks to everyone at The Wolds Day Nursery. From the staff to the facilities, to the meals and activities, it is all fantastic. I would highly recommend them to anyone looking for a nursery provider. I have never had any worries since choosing them to care for my children. As a parent, this is a big decision to make and one that I would definitely make again. Thank you The Wolds Day Nursery!

We're really happy with the nursery, our daughter has settled really well there thanks to the attentive staff. Our child has thrived in this nursery thanks to the staff and activities they do throughout the day. (Both being outdoors and arts and crafts) Nutrition is also important to us and we are really happy our daughter receives a variety of home-cooked meals. We couldn't ask for a better environment for our child to start their learning journey.

Absolutely outstanding setting with wonderful staff and facilities. Our son has had a very happy 3 years there and our daughter will be starting in a few week's time. The curriculum offer focuses on all elements of child development and our little boy has made some really lovely friends and has a fantastic relationship with all of the adults.

Our daughter has had such a fantastic start to nursery life at the wolds. She loves the daily activities and her confidence around others has grown so much. Now she brings her nursery bag to us in the morning and can’t wait to go, which makes us so happy. She obviously feels so safe and secure there, and really importantly, has fun!

We absolutely love the nursery. Both of our children have attended and the amount of indoor and outdoor activities that they have been able to get involved in is amazing. The opportunities that they have been given from such a young age is fantastic, this has certainly set them both up well for starting school

Absolutely fabulous nursery. The staff all really care about the children and each other. They have a real family feel and will all go above and beyond. The overall capacity of places is smaller than average so you feel like your child has a nice relationship with the other children and staff. They get taken out for walks and when in preschool they enjoy the use of the private “Lottie’s field”. It’s definitely the right balance of outside and inside time. Both my children have absolutely thrived being here and I would 100% recommend this setting as it’s absolutely brilliant.
