Little Cubs Academy Honor Oak, Forest Hill Nursery & Pre-School

You have always been super helpful with all our requests to move around days, and the care my son has received has been second to none. The Deputy Manager was such a great person to entrust our eight-month-old to and everyone since has filled his days with learning, fun and excitement.

My son and daughter have attended Little Cubs Academy in Honor Oak and our experience with the nursery has been brilliant.

The nursery is well managed, the food is good and - most importantly - my children have been in the care of wonderful staff. The nursery also has great outdoor space. Our children have been extremely happy throughout their time at Little Cubs.

Our son attended Little Cubs academy from the age of one to three and a half years and it's only because we were moving out of London that we reluctantly had to take him out! We could not recommend them more and have done so to multiple friends and family in search of childcare locally. The staff's attention and care to the children are obvious and how they have the energy at the end of the day to give each parent a debrief of their child's day, I don't know – but I commend them! They really understand the challenges of being a working parent and the reassurances we need to know our child is in the best care whilst we are at work. After a brief stint at another nursery which was not a good fit for us, we were so grateful for the Little Cubs team and how they accommodated us and really engaged with and cared for our son – we really witnessed him thrive in his time there. We will miss it!

Our son goes to Little Cubs Academy's nursery in Forest Hill and I could not recommend them enough! The staff at the nursery are so caring and welcoming, they have always made our family feel comfortable and at home. Our son loves going to nursery and has learnt so much from being there, he has come out of his shell and is more confident in social settings

My toddler started Little Cubs in September 2021 aged three and was immediately made to feel welcome, safe, and happy. The settling in period was very well considered and after just two days he was fine going in every day and hasn’t looked back. The staff are kind, caring, and engaged with the children which is noticeable on collection and drop off. There is a great blend of learning, play, and a variety of activities and we’ve been really impressed with the whole environment.

I think my experience is like that of a lot of parents - it's incredibly hard to leave my child when I have to go to work each day. But it becomes a lot easier when I'm dropping my daughter at Little Cubs Academy in Honor Oak Park. There are so many great things about the place - its inviting and warm environment, the activities and style of developmental engagement, the healthy, home-cooked meals, the communication with parents and use of the Famly app. But the thing that's most important to me, and clearly has had the biggest impact on my daughter, is the relationship with the people who work there. They have built a deep and personalised relationship with her, and she is thriving because she is being supported, nurtured and cared for in such a genuine way. It may be hard to leave her each morning, but when she gets home energised and happy from a great day at nursery, I know we're doing the right thing!

We had recently moved to the Forest Hill area and chose Little Cubs Academy Honor Oak Nursery for our daughter. We couldn't be happier with the decision. The nursery staff are warm and welcoming and my daughter has created a lovely bond with them all. Out of number of visits made to the other nurseries in Forest Hill, we felt right at home at Little Cubs the moment we walked in. A lovely nursery that I wouldn't hesitate to recommend!

I have two children at this nursery and have found the staff across the past 3 years to be friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking. Both my kids love going and have made really close bonds with their teachers. The staff all know every parent and I feel their attention to detail to things like who's who and the individual child's likes and dislikes makes it such a positive environment.

The setting and space that the nursery has is fantastic, it has really taken into account the level of development for each room age. The outdoor area that is available is fantastic for explorers of all ages.

I would deeply recommend Little Cubs as it is a wonderful nursery. The staff there take really good care of the children, they all are very happy, which leads to happy parents! What a relief when you know you are leaving your precious child in good hands, this definitely helps to have a day apart from your child.

This is the most amazing nursery. Head and shoulders above every nursery in Forest Hill. We have been so impressed with the whole experience, from their customer service when we enquired, to the fantastic care and education they provide. The headteacher leads such a passionate team, and they genuinely seem to care and have high standards, which is not a given. Thank you.

Incredible! Such friendly, bubbly staff and a personal touch that is second to none. Always a daily debrief of the days activities with every parent and knowledge of all aspects of their day is fed back. Plus - love the app to see pictures during the day!

We thoroughly recommend Little Cubs Honor Oak. Our child attended for almost two years and only left because we moved overseas. The nursery is a lovely setting with a good garden play area and a diverse range of food. The key drawcard to this nursery though is the staff led by the warm and intelligent manager. The baby room leader is wonderful and caring and incredibly dedicated. The staff in the toddler room are equally as impressive. We were very sad to leave Little Cubs but are thankful for our child’s time there.

My son was at Little Cubs for a year and loved it. He was very happy to be dropped off every day. Staff are fantastic and clearly care about the children. Activities are varied, and the nursery has a lovely outdoor space. I'd highly recommend it to anyone in the area. We only left because we moved out of the area and were very sad to take my son out so soon.

My grandson adores this nursery. Well worth travelling for. We love that it is family-owned with incredibly high standards of care and education. He has made so many friends there, and we love the garden, activities and food. Keep up the good work Little Cubs!

We are so lucky to have Little Cubs in our area! The level of love, attention and care they give our son is unparalleled. He is thriving there, and is all smiles for every single staff member. I also look at their menu for inspiration, it’s wonderful! They are super organized and responsive too.

My daughter has settled in really well here. What is amazing is how happy the staff are working at Little Cubs and my child loves going to nursery. My daughter often tells me she wants to go to nursery even on the weekend. The staff have always been very friendly and warm and given lots of feedback on how my daughter's day has been, what she has done, what she has eaten and how long she slept. My wife and I also recognise how much nursery is helping develop her language and speech, her confidence and independence. The headteacher is extremely helpful, knows my daughter really well and is on hand to support with advice, which my wife and I often need as new parents. I would highly recommend this nursery. Thank you to everyone at Little Cubs, you are great and are doing a great job with all the kids, especially mine! I can go to work knowing she is in safe hands here.

We have been so impressed with Little Cubs Academy. The nursery is a delightful, welcoming, family-friendly place, that offers incredibly high standards of care and education. The headteacher and the deputy, are incredibly impressive and care passionately about the children in their care. We would not hesitate to recommend Little Cubs.
