Bright Horizons Chiswick Day Nursery and Preschool

We love this nursery. The entire team are a delight with our son - he is thriving. Educationally we don't think there is a better nursery as the team are creative, inventive and supportive. On a personal level, we have total confidence in the team and feel really supported by all. We are so happy with Active Learning Chiswick.

I have had two children at the nursery since autumn 2015 and between them, they've been through all the rooms from Babies to Preschool. We are extremely happy with the nursery.

The staff are dedicated and keen and provide a really broad range of expertise (sport, music, art, languages). Most importantly of all, they provide a caring and cheery environment and both children love going there. One thing I really like is that occasionally the carers swap between rooms (and the management team are hands-on too) which means there's a real sense of community - much more so than other nurseries I've known.

The building is spacious, bright and airy, and the different rooms are very well designed for the different age groups. The outdoor space is great, with an enclosed garden and access to the huge sports fields. Access is really easy too, with a buggy park and a car park for drop off and pick up.

Having 3 children, we've certainly been to a few nurseries. I have to say that by far Active Learning in Chiswick has superseded all the others. Great team, that stay!!! Management is very hands on and I love how they really know all the children and their development. The days are varied and activities are very educational. Lovely food too and my son is just so happy there. 5 stars from me!!!

I have been an Active Learning parent since November 2013 and my children have progressed through the different rooms on the Chiswick site. I have always found the set-up very warm and welcoming. The staff are very caring towards all the children and are happy to support any special circumstances that need to be considered. The outdoor space and opportunities to use the next door sports fields are fantastic. Overall the children are very happy there and I would not hesitate to recommend this nursery to any prospective parents.

Our 1-year-old daughter has been at the nursery for a month and it has been a very good experience so far. The staff are very friendly caring and knowledgeable. The nursery is very light and has a nice atmosphere. We get daily updates on our daughter's progress. It would be nice if our daughter has the same key person every day but this doesn't seem possible. However, we are overall happy and impressed.

My son has been attending Active Learning Chiswick since he was 9 months old and I have always had complete confidence and comfort knowing he is bring looked after by genuine caring, supportive and well-trained staff. The retention of staff at Active Learning has been exceptional and this forms a stable environment for the children. My son has developed into a happy, confident kind and generally a well-behaved boy and I credit a lot of this to the fabulous staff and carers. I would not hesitate to recommend Active Learning Chiswick.

This is by far the best nursery in and around the Chiswick area. As a teacher at a local school, I hear feedback from parents about the different nurseries. After viewing a few popular ones, we thought most of them were good but felt as if we were going to have to 'settle' for the best of the lot.... till we visited this place! When we were shown round, what struck me was how settled and calm the babies and toddlers were, even those who had just woken up. The rooms were clean despite having sand areas. When our son went for his settling in days, he only cried for a few minutes during the first hour and has since absolutely loved the place. The staff genuinely love children, and this is very clear. He now runs eagerly into the nursery every morning and isn't tearful or desperate to leave when I arrive to pick him up. He adores all the staff and so do we. I am thankful that it has made going back to work so seamless for me and I know that my child is in the best care I could ask for.
