Kids 1st Low Fell

Kids 1st Low Fell is a fantastic nursery and our daughter loves attending! Amy and the rest of the staff are brilliant. They are really supportive and work hard at building good relationships with the parents as well as the kids. Our daughter has formed good bonds with the staff in her rooms and we can tell she is well cared for. Food sounds lovely and is well varied! The new app is really helpful as well. Thank you!

Excellent, caring staff that get to know the children so well. Low fell kids 1st demonstrates beautifully how every interaction counts, from the moment my little boy enters the door he is greeted so warmly by all of the staff, even the chef knows his name, its been great for his confidence. The staff are fully invested in the kids here and you know you are in good hands. Amy is an excellent, professional, responsive and hands-on manager that is always there to talk to.

Because of their dedication, our son has grown so much in confidence. He feels safe, secure, and happy at nursery. We feel truly supported and cared for by the whole team. They have listened to our suggestions and implemented changes almost overnight-we feel heard, reassured, and valued as parents. We cannot speak highly enough of the team.

Our son thoroughly enjoys his time at nursery. He is excited to attend and comes home full of stories and enthusiasm about his day. He shares new things he has learned, which fills him full of questions and wonder. For me these are all signs that he is being cared for, stimulated and challenged. During transitions from room to room, staff have made every effort to make him feel comfortable. They all know him by name, even staff who aren't based in his room. Any queries I have had have been answered and dealt with straight away. A particular mention to Danni in Seahorses room who was his first key worker and made those early days of leaving him for the first time, that bit easier. I often recommend the nursery to others and am really grateful for our time there.

My son has been going to this nursery since he was 10 months old and is now 3. He absolutely loves it! Staff are amazing and all staff make an effort to form a relationship with the children even they do not directly work with him. The communication with the staff is good and I'm always updated on my son's care. The staff have been great at building my son's strengths and further developing his skills in areas he shows difficulties. I would highly recommend this nursery!

My daughter started nursery early October 2025 and has come such a long way since doing so. The staff are always welcoming and friendly. Would recommend this nursery to anyone as you won't be disappointed. The staff are an absolute credit to the company.

All the staff are friendly, genuinely caring and take care of our boys. Thank you for everything you all do, it's not an easy job!

Really lovely staff - welcoming and caring. Take an interest in our son’s development. He seems really happy and well cared for. Feel confident that he is being well looked after. The food they eat seems pretty nutritious. Good range of activities that they do too.

Since my daughter started, I have been massively impressed. She had only spent time in the care of her grandparents, and she quickly became excited about her days at nursery. The staff are all professional and friendly. Her imagination and thirst to learn have been nurtured, and the staff bring this out in various activities. The parent portal gives you online observations so you can see how well they are developing, and her end of preschool 1 review had me in tears of pride. The menu is incredibly varied and healthy; no quick fix deep fried stuff! They were ahead of the curve with Covid and have continued to be. I have had absolutely no concerns about taking her to the nursery or that she will not enjoy her time with the measures they have in place. There is absolutely no other nursery I would send my children to. Thank you to Kids 1st Low Fell.

My son has been going to Kids 1st Low Fell for 2 1/2 years and he loves it. The nursery is incredibly well led with a very proactive management team. The staff in the room are exceptional. My son is safe and learning, development and happiness are at the forefront of every decision which is made. Parents are included in every step and as a parent I have made a lot of friends through nursery. The menu is varied, healthy and fun. The chef is incredible - I only wish I could stay for lunch!

Fantastic nursery. I've seen my child develop week after week. Excellent facilities and caring, well-managed staff who've been instrumental in my child's care and development.

My only negatives are the high nursery fees and the entrance to the nursery is very narrow which makes drop-offs difficult during busy periods when there are oncoming vehicles.

Kids 1st Low Fell have fully supported us working parents and the fab staff put your mind at ease leaving your little one. I can’t recommend the excellent care enough. I was very anxious leaving my little boy and within 2 weeks he loved nursery. Truly grateful and made returning to work much easier.

If I ever had any issues or worries, I have always felt comfortable to discuss them and confident they would be rectified.

The staff and care at the nursery have been outstanding.

We've had 2 children cared for through Kids 1st Low Fell between 2013 to date. Throughout the time each of our children has spent within their care, we simply cannot fault them. Care and attention and a genuine interest in their development and education both whilst in their care and beyond.

The food is fabulous and helps develop a wide variety of likes and dislikes with our children, but equally, it's all 'honest home cooked' style and ALWAYS with healthy, good nutrition at the forefront.

We've never had a day where we have had any concerns over the wellbeing of our children, and equally, neither of our boys has ever said they don't want to go. They look forward to it.

Our 4 yr old continues to exceed his peers and amaze us with his continued growth and development. A testament to the excellent care and attention by the staff at Kids 1st Low Fell. A very big THANK YOU.
