Innsworth staff have been brilliant with my child since he started. As an only child he never bonded with other children his age and his speech was very limited. Since then his speech has come on so much and gets on with all the children, also all the lovely staff. I'm so glad I chose them as if there are any concerns they sort it out straight away, they've been very supportive and I always recommend Old Station Nursery to family and friends.
I cannot recommend enough The Old Station Nursery Innsworth. They are brilliant! They continue to be part of our family for the past 5-years. Great nursery, loving and caring staff and very, very happy children. Our second son attends at the moment, and I cannot thank them enough for the support during these unprecedented times, the love and care and everything they did to accommodate my child.
The food is great for my son, and if he is unable to have something because of his medical needs, they will always find something he can have so he isn't left out.
We will be very sad to leave this nursery this year to go to school.
My daughter has settled in brilliantly to The Old Station Nursery, and this is because of the fabulous staff and great facilities. She loves going and always comes running out smiling and telling me about her day. The systems they have in place for Covid are excellent and very reassuring. We love that they have animals too. What a great place to spend her days when I'm working.
Like most parents, I have 2 very different children - both of which attended The Old Station Nursery. Regardless of their differences, both children enjoyed their time at the nursery and adored the staff.
I can safely say that the nursery is the best in the area. I feel that staff really do care for the children and go out of their way to accommodate anything from the child's academic level to fussy eaters.
I fully expect my 3rd (and final) child to attend the nursery when she is older.
My daughter absolutely loves it. The staff have been fantastic from start to finish, even throughout the current pandemic. We receive great advice and great communication from the whole team. Never had a single issue.
Absolutely amazing nursery. All staff are so welcoming and friendly. They’ve really helped my daughter come a long way, and I’ll always be grateful for the amount of effort they all put in. My daughter always comes home happy and always so happy to go. I’d suggest this nursery to absolutely anyone.
My daughter loves going to nursery here. She started in the baby room, a bit interrupted because of lockdown but the staff did a fantastic job of settling her in and she is now in the toddler room. She spent most of today outside, climbing things and investigating mini-beasts and trying to ride a balance bike. Her key worker is fabulous and so are the rest of the staff. Everyone is warm, friendly and you can tell that they really, genuinely like children. It’s very reassuring as a parent, to know that your child is in such good hands. My favourite thing about the nursery, apart from the pets, is how happy the staff are to cuddle the children. My daughter likes cuddles and the staff are always mentioning how much they enjoy getting a snuggle with her. Little children need their cuddles! Their app system is also a really good, user-friendly way of seeing what your child has been up to and they’re diligent about keeping it updated. I always look forward to an app post!
My little one loves attending nursery and has a special bond with her key worker. The staff are very welcoming and are supportive of her potty training. We have highlighted some issues with our little one to her key workers, such as speech and teeth-brushing and she has been able to put some time in with her and offer further advice.
I highly recommend The Old Station Nursery. I was nervous about leaving my little girl, but the staff were really reassuring. I find everyone very professional and caring. My daughter has been attending for 18-months now and really enjoys it. The staff are friendly and positive, and the children seem to do lots of different activities. I’m kept well informed via a quick chat on pick up time and photos are uploaded to the app every week.
Both of our children have attended or are attending the nursery, and we have recommended it to a number of our friends, who are also extremely pleased with the level of care and education that is provided.
The setting of the nursery was very important to us, with plenty of outdoor space away from public roads, it offers the perfect setting. A modern purpose-built building (not converted residential premises with rough edges like others in the area) with plenty of aspiring sustainable and green features, it is certainly ethical and sets a good example to the surrounding area and the children.
The staff are very well trained and all "want" to be there, this isn't a job for them, they really do care about their work and the children. Plenty of extra activities such as Yoga, dance and drama add to the level of care.
I am really please with the support my son is getting from the nursery and the progress he made. The staff are very committed and helpful. They communicate well with me and ready to address any issues that are raised.
I strongly recommend that place.
A wonderful nursery with a fantastic team.
My son is so happy going here.
I am very impressed with the nursery and staff here.
My boy has learnt a lot since coming here, and he enjoys it every time.
I am very happy with the environment, decorations and feedback.
Thank you, everyone!
Our daughter gets the opportunity to do so many activities including messy play, soft play, racing cars, dressing up, dancing, baking, digging in the mud and so much more! She always comes home with stories to tell, which is lovely.
We would recommend the nursery and look forward to our daughter moving up to the other rooms as she grows.
My daughter has been in the baby room at The Old Station for a year. It’s a fantastic nursery - friendly, caring and communicative staff, good facilities, lots of creative activities. Standards have remained very high despite this being an exceptionally challenging year for early years settings. Would highly recommend it.
The facilities are great, both indoors and outdoors and procedures have been adopted well to cope with the current COVID-19 situation.
I am very happy with this nursery! I have two kids, one was until recently in the tot's room, and one is still in the baby room, and both are absolutely amazing. My little girl has not cried once ever since she started when I leave her at nursery, and she loves her key worker and happily goes to him every morning, which makes it so much easier for me to leave them!
The staff are wonderful, management is absolutely amazing; they always take the time in the morning to ask about how your kid was, and then at pick up time, explaining everything the child did, how much food they had etc. Always smiling and always very kind.
I can say that I am very comfortable to leave my kids with them as I can see how much my kids love the staff and vice versa, and I can see how well looked after my kids are here!
A wonderful setting where staff go above and beyond to care for my son. The staff are wonderful with the children, and my son looks forward to his nursery days. He has gained so much from being at The Old Station Nursery, socially, emotionally and cognitively. The manager is brilliant; she always does her best to be flexible when I need extra hours here and there because of work. I would have no hesitation in recommending The Old Station Nursery to anyone looking for a setting for their child.
My daughter loves going into nursery and always comes home bubbling away telling me about all the things she’s been doing.
Her social skills have come on so much since she’s attended nursery, and she learns so much from all the activities the staff set up.
We have had an excellent experience with the nursery since my son started in September 2020. The staff are all very friendly and approachable; they clearly love their jobs and genuinely care about the children. They do loads of fun activities and give good feedback at collection time about what they have been up to. My son always comes out happy and excited to tell me about his day. His key worker updates the app very efficiently with lots of photos of what he’s been up to for us to see, which is lovely. Most importantly, my son absolutely loves going and talks about his key worker lots at home! It has been great to see his independence and confidence grow since he started attending.
