The large outdoor area with a herb and vegetable garden allows children to explore the world around, and there are two outdoor areas, one of which is for preschool children, the second being an all year round outdoor learning centre, enabling children to learn outdoors whatever the weather.
There is a lovely mud kitchen that has been extended for children to explore, including seating for children to sit down & play throughout the day. As children move out of toddlerhood and into the independence of the preschool years the programme for learning develops into a more structured pace of meaningful and purposeful learning, where children are encouraged to approach the world with curiosity and with a positive disposition to learn.
At this stage children at Court Oak need confidence and the skills and desire to think for themselves, to solve problems, to work with others, to communicate, and to gain an increased understanding of the world and how it works.

I am very pleased with this nursery. My son is always happy and well looked after. He has formed a good bond with staff and enjoys taking part in a variety of fun activities. My little boy is now talking lots more and is making good progress in all areas of his development. Keep up the good work! :)

I appreciate all the support that is given in recording and monitoring all the development stages. My son has settled into each of the rooms that he has been in. Prior to my son attending my daughter came to this same nursery (2009-2012) and a lot of the same staff are still working here. I have recommended Court Oak Kindergarten to many friends and they too have been very happy.
