Serendipity’s Cotgrave is situated in the Cotgrave Futures Community Building, next to Candleby Lane Primary School, based in the heart of Cotgrave and have excellent links with the growing community.

The nursery has three spacious rooms; Babies (0-2), Toddlers (2-3) and Pre School (3-5) which are bright and welcoming.

Serendipity's Cotgrave has a large outside play area with an interactive activity frame, with soft surfaced flooring and fencing around to enable a safe and secure environment with lots of interesting activities to stimulate and challenge children’s learning.

Staff at Serendipity's have a range of qualifications which include NVQ level 2 & 3 in childcare or young person’s workforce, Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood Studies, First Aid and Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 with the option of developing skills by attending training courses. Staff are able to develop close relationships with the children and their parents/carers, giving daily feedback about the children's day.

Food is freshly prepared and meals are nutritionally balanced allowing children to experience a wide variety of tastes, textures and flavours, whilst also catering for children with special dietary requirements such as food allergies, intolerance's and cultural preferences.

Nothing is ever too much for the staff here. Always there to help with any issues or concerns. My daughter came at 6 months and has flourished and made some lovely friends my son also joined at 9 months and loves all his friends. The staff are personable yet professional. Outside area is amazing nice
to know your children aren't cooped up and are getting out and about and dirty.

All the team make Serendipitys Cotgrave second to none. Their love and genuine interest in developing the children is to well rounded and caring individual little people, is very special and unique. I pick my grandson up once or twice a week, the welcome I get from the staff is a great feeling. He loves going and does not always want to come home, he loves playing outside and doing jigsaws. I have also been on a trip to the panto with them, and was made very welcome by all the staff.
He had a
few issues when he started as his parents had split up, but through the patience and work the staff have made him into a happy and very loving little boy. Will be sorry to see him leave to go to school.

My daughter has been there for only 4 weeks but has settled in really well, showing huge signs of growing up and becoming a lot more vocal and confident about herself. I believe it is down to the staff nominated to each child who show particular interest in getting to know their child to the best of
there experience. I would totally 110% recommend this nursery and will be telling all friends and family how wonderful, helpful and caring the staff are towards my daughter.

Both my boys have come to this nursery since 2011-I cannot express enough how impressed we both are with the nursery. I have always felt completely confident and relaxed in leaving both boys here. Our first boy was born very prematurely and as a result had a few issues-even at this worrying time, the
nursery were brilliant at reassuring us and again we felt completely relaxed about leaving him. Over the years I have also found the nursery a fantastic resource of information about childcare issues.

My granddaughter is very happy to attend nursery. She is stimulated, engages in activities and usually very happy to come in the morning. She chatters about things she's done, friends she has played with and obviously enjoys being involved in a good range of activities. She is able to share the song
of the week, and enjoys reading stories etc as early literacy activities.


I think that she is happy and well motivated, she enjoys the socialisation and education that is provided by the staff.

A very professional nursery, staff are friendly, granddaughter has been in the nursery since 9 months and the education she has received from the staff is second to none, the way the children are in their own peer groups means they have friends of there own age, I would and have recommended this nursery

Serendipitys is the best nursery that I could put my little boy into, he has additional needs and the nursery meets these above and beyond.
He has a special diet and all of his guidelines are on the wall in the kitchen to make all aware.
He has an emergency box in case a situation occurs, everyone
knows about his condition and are well aware of what to do in an emergency.


I could not think of a more safe place to put my child. The staff and nursery are amazing.
If you want your child to feel safe and well looked after then this is the nursery to take your child.

Serendipitys is a fantastic nursery, they care for the children very well and cater to all their needs. My child loves all the activities and I love the finished products that are sent home. The food is fantastic and I love that the children can help to make the cakes for dessert.

My little girl has been going to the nursery for over 1 year now. She loves it. She started in the baby room where they helped her develop. The transition to the toddler room was well planned and coordinated. They follow the guidelines and have regular meetings with the parents to discuss progress and
determine what areas of development to focus on next. We are raising our daughter tri-lingual with English only being spoken at nursery and we can see how much she learns there. They are also very keen to incorporate any celebrations we have at home.

Serendipitys is a fantastic nursery, my little boy is so happy there and has been since he started. He is always happy to go to nursery and usually reluctant to leave because he's having so much fun. All the staff are so friendly and caring towards all the children. It's not just a job to them, they
genuinely care. He has made some great friends and is really developing his personality because of the nurturing environment they have created at Serendipitys Cotgrave. I will be genuinely sad when he leaves next year for primary school.

Such an amazing welcoming nursery. My child loves it so much and as came on leaps and bounds since starting. The staff are so friendly and you can see they genuinely care and love the child. Our daughter has been attending this nursery since she was 9 months old. I loved the nursery from our first visit. It filled me with encouragement that no appointment was needed and I could just drop in to view the facilities. Our daughter was settled into the baby room and I felt confident that she
was being cared for and that I was able to call at anytime to see how her day was going . At age two she has moved to toddlers. She is genuinely excited to attend nursery on her 2 days a week. Not only has she made lots of friends she has progressed in leaps and bounds. I love the encouragement the children are given to use imagination and display their creative side. Regular parents evenings allow nursery and us to work side by side on the next development areas. It feels like a true partnership. As my daughter is heading towards 3 she has spent time in the pre school room and comes home with nothing but praise of how much she has enjoyed her day. All of this with nutritious meals and friendly approachable staff make it a great place for my daughter. I would not hesitate to recommend and I often do!!
