Serendipity’s Cotgrave is situated in the Cotgrave Futures Community Building, next to Candleby Lane Primary School, based in the heart of Cotgrave and have excellent links with the growing community.

The nursery has three spacious rooms; Babies (0-2), Toddlers (2-3) and Pre School (3-5) which are bright and welcoming.

Serendipity's Cotgrave has a large outside play area with an interactive activity frame, with soft surfaced flooring and fencing around to enable a safe and secure environment with lots of interesting activities to stimulate and challenge children’s learning.

Staff at Serendipity's have a range of qualifications which include NVQ level 2 & 3 in childcare or young person’s workforce, Foundation Degree in Early Years Childhood Studies, First Aid and Food Hygiene level 2 & 3 with the option of developing skills by attending training courses. Staff are able to develop close relationships with the children and their parents/carers, giving daily feedback about the children's day.

Food is freshly prepared and meals are nutritionally balanced allowing children to experience a wide variety of tastes, textures and flavours, whilst also catering for children with special dietary requirements such as food allergies, intolerance's and cultural preferences.

Everyone here is very helpful and friendly. My grandson loves coning and the staff are teaching him all sorts of life skills and helping him with his reading and counting etc. Everyone is also very helpful if there is a problem picking him up e.g Clifton Bridge! Nothing ever seems to be a problem for
the staff here.

I can't think of any other nursery that would look after my little girl as well as Serendipity's Cotgrave. The staff are always welcoming and helpful. Absolutely excellent service.

All three of my children have attended this nursery. The resources are excellent, the staff are always friendly and professional and know my child really well and relate well to them with each of their individual personalities. My children have all loved coming to this nursery and developed well emotionally,

The staff are always very helpful and cheerful. They have been pro-active in preschool at addressing concerns we had over our son's anxiety when moving rooms and when mixing with certain other children. Our son is very happy in the preschool room and it is obvious that he takes part in a large variety
of activities.

My daughter first attended preschool at Serendipitys in 2015 and she had such a lovely time that when my son was born I knew which nursery I would use. My son started at one-year-old in the baby room and is now in preschool. He has grown and developed so much, his independence and desire to do everything
himself is wonderful to see. The nursery is like a home from home and the staff are like an extension of our family.

Both my daughters have attended Serendipity's Cotgrave and I cannot rate them highly enough. The staff are efficient, friendly and very attentive to the children. They run a full range of activities for the children - ensuring a varied and fun day is had. I never feel guilty about leaving them, as I
know they are being well looked after. The facilities are very good with a large outdoor area which is utilised as much as possible and all the rooms are well decorated and clean. As a nursery it is very well organised and communication is excellent - I cannot fault it at all.

My son started there when he was 2 years old and went straight into the toddler's room. It's taken him some time to get settled in but all the staff there are amazing with him as he has extra needs and they needed the training to be able to look after him. They are always communicating with me on how
he is when I collect him. He has recently just moved up to the pre-school room and the transition was seamless even with the extra training needed. I can’t praise this nursery enough as my son has really become his own little character again since settling in and the care they give is outstanding.

My daughter had been going to Serendipitys since the age of 1. She is now 3 and I think it’s an absolute fantastic nursery. The girls are great with my daughter and they help me out a lot with advice which I ask for. She has come along way since attending Serendipitys and I can’t wait for my little

We had moved several times, which meant my daughter had an unsettled feeling. When we moved to our new home it was important for her to know that we weren't going to be moving again. She was nervous about me leaving her, as the past 7 months was very difficult for her. I explained our situation to the
staff and they were amazing at making her feel comfortable there, and they allowed us to take our time with transitioning. They understood how to look after her and she soon formed strong attachments to the staff. She is so happy there and now has friends that she can form proper relationships with.

My son has been there since January 2016. Serendipitys Day Nursery is just fantastic. My son loves it!!! Staff working there are amazing, very friendly and polite. They are doing just a fantastic job. The food is also very good. My son eats almost everything there but he is such a fussy eater at home.
They have lots of activities, indoor and outdoor. I am very happy that my son is going there. He gets so much fun! I would recommend Serendipitys Day Nursery to all of my friends and family. Five stars!!! Thank you very much.

Great place to leave a child while at work. Staff are very friendly, helpful and understanding. My child is always happy to be in there and makes a good progress. Our little boy has struggled to settle in as he has never been left before so it's a massive change for him, it is still a working progress however we never once feel uneasy about leaving him. The staff are amazing they always reassure me and my partner. The nursery on a whole is lovely lots for the
children to do, so much to explore. Every single member of staff know our sons name and always interact with him even if they aren't working closely with him. We as first time parents are extremely happy with everything on offer and would highly recommended Serendipitys.

Our son joined the nursery when he was 1 and a half and is now based in Pre School. He absolutely loves going to nursery, he's got loads of friends and always comes home talking about all the fun he's had and what he's been doing.


I can honestly say that all the staff are brilliant - friendly,

welcoming, always cheerful and excited to greet you. One lady in particular (Toddler room) is amazing; so enthusiastic and genuinely seems to love each child as if they are her own.


The outdoor space in particular is fantastic and was one of the main reasons we chose this nursery (we actually live in Bingham).


We can thoroughly recommend Serendipitys and will be signing our second son up next year!
