Based at Davies House in Evesham, the nursery was refurbished in 2021 and cares for babies, toddlers and preschool children in three dedicated age-group spaces. Each room is arranged to encourage children to move, choose, investigate and become increasingly independent.
The setting shows the Bright Kids approach, mixing open-ended materials with real everyday objects. Children pour from a china teapot, use real utensils, play with loose parts, or serve themselves with plates and cutlery. These activities make play more meaningful and help children build coordination, confidence, responsibility, and respect for the world around them.
Outdoor play is part of every day. Babies and older children have dedicated garden areas, giving each age group the freedom to climb, build, grow, create and explore at their own pace. Practitioners observe what captures each child’s attention and use those interests to introduce new language, ideas and challenges through play.
Bright Kids Evesham had its first Ofsted inspection in July 2022 and was proud to be judged Outstanding. Inspectors recognised the exceptionally happy atmosphere, the quality of care and education, and the way staff make every child feel valued, safe and welcome.
The nursery is open from 7.30 am to 6 pm, Monday to Friday, for 51 weeks a year. Flexible and part-time attendance options are available, including arrangements for shift workers and teachers. Nutritious lunches are provided, and on-site parking makes drop-offs and collections easier.
Families are invited to visit, meet the team and discover a nursery where children are encouraged to follow their curiosity, test their ideas and thrive as individuals.

The staff at the nursery go above and beyond. They take great are of the children and treat them like their own. Activities are well planned and structured, paying great care and attention to the children's interests and linking these into their planning and topics.

The staff at the nursery go above and beyond. They take great are of the children and treat them like their own. Activities are well planned and structured, paying great care and attention to the children's interests and linking these into their planning and topics. There is excellent communication between staff and parents; If there are any questions/concerns etc these are responded to quickly. I am so sad to see my child leave. He has been an incredibly happy child, cared for and stretched through structured play. He has gained the skills, knowledge and confidence to go onto the next phase in his life- school. I have already recommended the nursery to others; I was very nervous about having a stranger look after my child from 6 months but the staff have all been brilliant. They follow home routines as much as they can and handover is seamless.

He has made lasting friendships and learnt so many songs, his manners have also really come on. The staff are all so, so friendly and really take the best interest of each individual child seriously. The management are always so helpful and easy to talk to aswell. You're always welcomed with a friendly smile by all of the girls and they all leave you feeling very confident that your child will have the best day with them!

Our son has been going to Bright Kids for around a year now, we moved him from another local nursery and it was the best decision we ever made. He is thriving! He loves going there and is excited to see what he’s doing that day. The activities are so varied, interesting and fun! ALL of the staff are polite, helpful, friendly and nothing is too much trouble. They have all been a huge help in getting him potty trained and despite ups and downs, they don’t give up!
We would recommend the nursery to everyone and are so glad our son loves it so much.

My son has been attending this nursery for nearly 2 years now and is always keen to tell us about his day when we get him home. The ladies have been a big support in helping to settle him into the next room and often send tapestry updates for us to see what he has been getting up to and for us to see that he is settling in well. They have a lovely large outdoor area and the nursery has a very warm cosy homely feel to it. We would highly recommend this nursery to other parents

Bright Kids offers a fantastic setting for children. My 2-year-old loves going there, he gets so excited every morning. I would fully recommend this nursery to friends and family. Leaving your child at Bright Kids is like dropping your child off with a family member. The staff are just fantastic.

Absolutely amazing nursery and staff. All the staff are incredible so kind and caring and you can tell they love their jobs. They are always there to listen to any issues or concerns you have. They are brilliant with allergies and double-check everything before using it, they never just assume which makes you feel safe to send your child with allergies there. The nursery itself is absolutely beautiful and my son really enjoys learning to use his imagination there and loves their ability to make play areas/equipment out of stuff you would never have thought too ( book library out of a rabbit hutch, etc). All the staff are welcoming and always there for not only the children with us as parents too. When we first looked at the nursery we knew within the first 5 minutes that I would be sending my son there and it’s by far the best decision I have ever made. Within the year my son has been there he has thrived and grown in confidence all thanks to the amazing work of Bright Kids Evesham.

My daughter really enjoys her time at nursery, staff are always kind and helpful, her development has been amazing, and out of all the nurseries visited prior to making a decision, Bright Kids was the only one to allow a physical visit (on a Saturday morning too!).

We have been with the nursery for nearly 4 years and have seen it flourish into a wonderful, nurturing environment where the child is at the centre of everything they do. Our son loves all the welcoming staff, who know him incredibly well, and he often skips to the door! We love looking at the photos on Tapestry and Facebook to see what he has been learning about especially outside in the fantastic garden as due to covid we haven't been able to look inside at the wonderful preschool room. The staff have been brilliant at preparing him for school and we will be very sad to leave.

My daughter has had an amazing time here. She has gone from crying at drop off to being so excited to go she puts her arms out to them. The use of tapestry has allowed me to see the amazing things she gets up to and they are providing a fun learning environment that we could never match. She comes home covered in glitter and dirt which tells me she has had the best time there. Her social skills have developed significantly and her confidence is soaring. Nursery has enhanced her cognitive skills and I can see a huge difference. And it is clear she loves all the staff there getting super excited to see them. I was anxious to send her at first but seeing how happy she is there I know I can’t match the activities and attention she gets. The open day was fantastic to see the environment, it felt homely and magical. Not at all how I imagined. My child is very happy there. And the staff are so friendly and warm. Could not speak more highly of them.

Miki has worked within early years for more than 25 years, both as a practitioner and in nursery management. Throughout her career, she has remained passionate about creating environments where children feel safe, understood and supported to become confident, capable learners.
She holds Level 5 and diploma qualifications across child development, child psychology and behaviour management. She has a particular interest in autism, emotional wellbeing and understanding the individual needs behind a child’s behaviour.
She said: "I firmly believe that every child (and every member of staff) has the potential to thrive when they are listened to, valued and given the right individual support. As Nursery Manager, I am proud to lead a caring team who take the time to get to know each child and work closely with families to help them reach their full potential."

Laura has been part of the Bright Kids team since the nursery joined the group and has worked in early years for 11 years. She holds a BA Honours degree in Early Childhood Education Studies and is passionate about continuing to learn and develop throughout her career.
She has worked with children across all nursery age groups, from babies as young as three months through to preschool. During that time, she progressed from Early Years Practitioner to Room Leader, Senior Practitioner and now Deputy Manager.
More recently, she completed the Management Mastery programme, which has helped Laura further develop her leadership skills and strengthen the way she supports our children, families and team.
She said: "The most rewarding part of working in early years is watching children grow into themselves. I love seeing their confidence develop, discovering what interests and excites them, and watching their individual personalities shine through."
