This Paper Moon Day Nursery in Forest Town is a purpose-built nursery with a bright and modern interior that enables children to learn in a caring environment.

All early years practitioners are highly-trained and committed to quality care and education, assisted by two large outdoor play areas, meals freshly prepared on site and a biometric security system.

I have used Paper Moon Day Nursery for approximately 4 years and both of my daughters, from the age of 18 months. The staff have always been brilliant and very informative about what my children have been doing the day.


Both children thrived after the initial settling in period and progressed really

well in all areas, ready for them starting at school.

Our daughter has attended Paper Moon at Forest Town since she was nine months old. I visited four local nurseries and was extremely anxious about leaving our daughter in childcare. I knew straight away that Paper Moon was the right one and I have never questioned this decision.
My daughter is now nearly
three and getting ready to move into Paper Moon Preschool Room (Tigers).
As she has moved up/progressed into new rooms/groups we have whittled that the staff in the new rooms wouldn’t be as good as the staff we had got to know. We have always quickly been reassured by all the staff's knowledge and kindness.
The manager is very passionate about getting the service right for the children, she is always approachable and has never once made me feel like a pain for the ‘just checking she’s okay’ phone call.
We would not hesitate to recommend Paper Moon at Forest Town to anyone and I thank them for making being a working mum easier due to having trust in your childcare provider!

If you have any concerns about leaving your child and if they are a little clingy then this is the place you need to take your child. My son and daughter are attending the holiday club for the first time and my son finds it hard with new things new people.
I took them both and the lady who was looking
after them was amazing she really put me at ease with the way she was with them. He was upset as I was leaving him and she took my place and comforted him and he was fine I cried more than he did.
This may not sound anything amazing but when my son doesn't always stay with family members there is only one word I can use for this place and it's amazing, he couldn't wait to go the next day.
It took me 3 years at school for him to stop crying when I left him and it took them 10 minutes.
I cannot thank them enough I couldn't give them a 10/10 as this just wouldn't be enough and no words can really show my gratitude.

Our daughter joined Paper Moon in September 2016 at age 10 months, she has settled quickly and loves being there.
The staff are so welcoming and friendly and seem to really take the time to get to know each child individually. They all greet our daughter personally when they see her in the corridor
- regardless of which room they are usually in.
Our daughter is encouraged to explore and play individually, as well as with others and in organised activities with the staff - her language has developed leaps and bounds in the last few months and we have the nursery to thank for this!
The food is varied and nutritional, and we get a detailed breakdown of what she has eaten throughout the day, and how much of each portion she has eaten at the end of the day. She has tried a number of new foods since joining Paper Moon.
Knowing she is so happy there has made the return to full-time work less painful, and I would happily recommend Paper Moon to friends and family.

I have 2 sons - aged 3 years and aged 9 months. They both attend Paper Moon Day Nursery. My 3-year-old has attended the nursery since he was 9 months old. His development at the nursery has been exceptional. He has always been happy to go to the nursery and has made a circle of friends that have progressed
with him through the nursery rooms. My 9-month old started nursery 6 weeks ago. He settled immediately and has formed a close bond with his key person. He always greets nursery with a smile in a morning which made my transition back to work following maternity leave much easier.
I have been very happy with the nursery and all of the staff.

Amazing staff!! They are absolutely brilliant with my son, they have brought him on so much. I leave him in a morning with no worries at all. He loves his key worker they have built a lovely bond. Would highly recommend!!

Fantastic nursery, ever since my little boy started going to Paper Moon Forest Town since he was 6 months old (he is now 4), he has come on in leaps and bounds. He has learnt so much more than I could of ever have taught him, socially and educationally. He loves going to Nursery 3 days a week and his
teachers are amazing and he loves each and every one of them. Every night he comes home and tells me all about his day and all the lovely healthy food and snacks that he has eaten. Ever since he was a toddler he has always been encouraged to try new foods and this has meant that he will now eat most fruit and Veg. I can't praise and thank this nursery and the amazing staff enough for everything that they have done for myself and my son.

Since starting at Paper Moon 8 months ago our daughter has gained confidence and has developed socially, mentally and physically. She loves going to nursery and enjoys her time there. All the staff are friendly and very good with our daughter. I highly recommend the nursery.

Our son has been attending Paper Moon Forest Town for just under 2 years now and has come on loads since starting there. He loves the staff and they make him feel welcome and loved. He had his own key worker to help him along with his speech and he also has dietary issues and they are brilliant with
that too.

Fantastic facility with thoughtful, engaged staff that clearly love what they're doing. My daughter gets so excited when she sees the nursery and barely looks back to say goodbye on drop off. Mummy sadness aside, I'm so glad she's in an environment where she is happy and thriving.

My little girl has been attending Paper Moon Day Nursery for a number of years and has grown into a confident child with the excellent support of the staff. We had no hesitation to put our little boy into the nursery once I went back to work. Staff are excellent and are so supportive.


As a family,

we have had struggles and the nursery staff are compassionate and caring. My little girl and boy have fantastic bonds with the staff and are achieving their targets thanks to the staff.


We could not recommend Paper Moon enough.

I love Paper Moon and all the staff. My little one goes 1 day a week normally and is always greeted personally and at the end of the day, is so content. She often doesn't notice I am there to pick her up.
The children are always doing activities with new ones introduced regularly and the updates in
her nursery diary let me see exactly what she has done and eaten that day. Fab nursery, would highly recommend to others.

Our daughter had to move to a new nursery after one we had chosen closed down suddenly. We looked at reviews of various nurseries around the district and found that Papermoon was our most favourable option. We were invited to a trial session and a look around the nursery. During her trial session
our daughter had so much fun and played with nearly every toy there. That sealed the deal for us.
The staff are all welcoming and interact with every child. They not only offer entertainment, but the EYFS learning, this will instil a solid foundation for their progress into school. The site has ample outdoor activities spread over two play areas.
Neither my wife, nor I, can sing the praises of this particular Papermoon site enough. We would highly recommend it to anyone looking for full or part-time childcare in the Mansfield, and surrounding, areas.
Our daughter has now moved onto full time school and will miss the staff and friends that she made.

Our son settled in really well and was welcomed from day one. We are pleased with all the services provided by Paper Moon. Our son will have some lovely memories of nursery when he leaves for full time school. Staff are all friendly and approachable.

This is my second child to attend, been using Paper Moon since it opened. Lots of the staff still the same for both children and feel like they have a real connection with them. All staff are lovely, friendly and approachable with any matter. Lots of variety in activities for my daughter to do and keep
her busy. Great purpose built facilities that keep all children safe.

Our son has always enjoyed being at Papermoon and participating in the wonderful activities they have planned. He has made some great friendships with the children and some incredible relationships with the staff there. Especially Rosie! He has developed so well and we’ve been so pleased with how much
effort has been put in by Roger and the others to help with his speech, which has really come along now!


More importantly we know that our son is safe and happy at Papermoon, which helps us to ease our mind about his care whilst we’re at work. We’ve always been contacted with any information to make sure our son’s well-being has been a priority and there is nothing more than that, that we could ask for!
They have been helpful with the flexibility they have shown us towards arranging his days with them, when he have had to make changes or been let down by others for his childcare last minute.


Many compliments to the staff and establishment on the wonderful events that they always have taking place, like the fundraising, fancy-dress and fayres. The effort taken to provide the children with new sensory experiences is evident. The displays are consistently refreshed, personal to the children and engaging. The building is always clean, tidy and smart and the meals look healthy and appetising! All of this hard work, further evidenced by their fantastic Ofsted grading!!

Our twins joined Papermoon 2 months ago and, from day 1, have never wanted to leave. The staff are warm and accommodating and my children talk about them often outside of nursery. I can't stress enough how happy we are with the service we receive and the ever-apparent love shown to our little ones.
We cannot praise the place enough.

My daughter has attended Paper Moon since June 2015 and she loves it. She often asks to go to nursery on the days she doesn't normally go.
She has made lots of friends with the children and the staff. She has learnt a lot and she is coming along all the time, and I believe nursery is partly responsible
for this.
I would highly recommend Paper Moon Day Nursery to anyone who would ask!!
