She does different activities each day. Some of which we would not be able to do at home eg. Soft play. She enjoys the food (she eats everything) and the menu is varied and nutritious.
The staff are friendly and caring and always take the time to tell you what they have been up to that day. The nursery is also spotless.
My daughter started nursery 3 months ago, she has made lots of friends in the baby room and talks about them when she gets home. When approaching the nursery, she becomes very excited pointing to the nursery people on the windows. My daughter is greeted every morning by all the staff throughout the nursery. All the staff are very kind and will always go out their way to help you.
My child has been here since she was 7 months old, she is now 2 years, 7 months. She enjoys coming to nursery and is really comfortable with the staff and especially her key worker. The toddler room staff have made me feel relaxed and comfortable about having my child here and they have made her into the little girl she is today.
When asked about the nursery, I always recommend you, as my little girl has been here since she was six months old. My little girl has progressed so much, even moving up classes before she should. If I have any concerns I only have to ask. I have a really good rapport with certain carers as they have all worked closely with my daughter and helped her progress.
Extremely friendly staff with great care for kids.
Holyrood is a very friendly, warm, happy environment. The staff are amazing, they answered all my questions with professionalism which helped me feel reassured that my child would be well looked after. Also, there is lots of space inside and out for my child to flourish.
Could not fault this nursery, my little boy loves coming to play and learn. The staff are amazing and nothing is too much to ask. The baby room staff have helped my little boy settle so much and made me feel better when leaving. The management has also been very helpful. Overall this nursery is 10 /10.
Medium/high staff turnover.
Some members of staff are fantastic - 1 or 2.
Teaching could be better.
Excellent soft play facility.
Overall satisfactory/good. Room to improve but has got better over the past year!
It's such a fantastic nursery!
Every week she loves coming here.
The staff are friendly and easy to speak to.
I really like Holyrood Princes Dock. All the staff know all the children, not just the children in their rooms. The staff are friendly and happy and ensure the children have a fun-filled day. As a mum of two children under 4 who is in full-time work, I don't feel my kids miss out on any activities because Holyrood covers all those bases and does the things I don't have time to do.
The setting is brilliant with soft play being my toddler's favourite feature through the winter months.
The staff have been lovely and supported us through speech therapy and potty training.
The day trips the children are taken on have been another highlight for us and we have been impressed at the range of activities offered by the nursery.
The established staff are brilliant and know their jobs so well. Always friendly and helpful as well as manager(s), always time for a sit-down and a conversation.
The meals are also healthy and varied, always exciting to see what's on the menu each day!
I am an international student, leaving my country and my culture and coming to a new place with a child is a concern for any mother to know if her child will adapt or not to the new environment. I cannot say thank you enough for the staff in the nursery. My daughter is very happy and learning quickly. The environment encourages any child to settle and learn. Also, to develop their personality and being more social which I noticed in my daughter's personality (as she used to be shy). A year made me (as a mother very satisfied) that I have chosen this nursery for my daughter.
Age of 3-4 (this stage) of my daughter's age will be memorable and this nursery contributed by creating beautiful memories in her childhood.
Staff are experienced and observe how children are developing. My son's personality developed and became more social and more independent after attending the nursery.

Meet the Team (2)
'Hello, my name is Lynne Billington, and I am delighted to start as nursery manager, working alongside the fabulous team you already have.
I have over 20 years of Early Years experience, as well as being an Early Years Specialist holding a senior role in my last position. I have experience working at Princess Dock many years ago, and I am thrilled to be coming back. Education-wise, I have a BA QTS EYPS. My previous setting has achieved an Outstanding Ofsted grade, as have other settings I have supported.
I have a true passion for making a difference in your little ones' lives and look forward to working alongside you, watching them grow into confident learners.
Personally, I am a mother of 3 grown-up children and a nanny to 3 wonderful grandchildren who keep me on my toes. I have been married for 35 years this year, and my husband is a paramedic who works in the Liverpool area.
Hayley works hard to create a wonderful nursery environment where children can flourish and thrive.
