Dundee Nature Kindergarten is located in Dundee Technology Park, Explorer Road, Dundee and provides quality childcare and education for children from birth to five years of age.

They are delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.

The team of staff comprises a blend of mature, experienced and professionally qualified nursery nurses and trainees working towards their qualifications.

Playrooms are extensively resourced and carefully planned to provide children with an inspiring learning environment, where they can learn, grow and develop their confidence. All rooms offer children access to the nursery's large outdoor play area where they can enjoy regular outdoor learning experiences across the entire curriculum.

Offered is a variety of sessions including variable, part-time and full-time, working in partnership with Dundee Council are able to offer funding for pre-school sessions for children aged three to five-years-old.

The nursery provides children with freshly made, healthy meals and snacks, prepared on-site by the nursery's chef.

While children can enjoy celebrating different festivals and events throughout the year and have the opportunity to participate in regular outings the local area and further afield.

Children can benefit from a range of resources and equipment including e-learning journals and iPads as well as speech and language therapy.

Lovely nursery in which my son has settled well in since the baby room. Staff are very approachable and couldn't give any faults to the manager who goes beyond her way to help.

Absolutely outstanding nursery, My little girl is very shy when there are large groups and the staff are great at accommodating smaller groups when she arrives, also her confidence has grown loads in the short time she has attended the nursery and I'm very grateful for all your help, highly recommend.

The staff and management at Oranges and Lemons Technology Park are second to none. Two of three of my children have attended here and my third is due to start. I have seen first hand the effort and care that they put into each child. My personal experience is that this has had an immeasurable positive
impact on my children, in terms of developing their confidence as well as their emotional, social and academic development. The outside space (particularly the mud patch!) is a big hit with my children. The dirty baths and clothes are evidence of the fun my children have had outside. I go to work safe in the knowledge that they are cared for, learning new skills and having fun at the same time. Thanks guys for all of your hard work!

My child has been attending O&L (Oranges and Lemons) in Technology Park for 4 years. I felt very happy for the choice. The nursery is an exceptional facility, with a big building benefiting from various room themes and an amazing garden, including their own piece of forest (called mud patch). A day
in the nursery is well organised, children are busy learning new skills. Staff are well motivated and committed, helping children to achieve their milestones and developing their skills. Great manager, exceptional at leading the team. Thanks for looking after us for all these years. We will miss you!

My daughter is currently in the 2-3 room and absolutely loves it! She is always happy to go to nursery in the mornings and has so much to tell me when we get home about the staff, her friends and what she has been doing each day, She even talks about them over the weekend and asks when it is time to
see them! Staff are always happy, feedback welcoming, polite and give feedback about my daughters day. I do and would continue to highly recommend this nursery!

Excellent nursery, very friendly and approachable staff and management. My son has been going here since 18 months old and thoroughly enjoys it. He is always keen to return the following day. Great outdoor area for all of the children in all of the age groups would highly recommend to anyone.

My daughter settled into nursery very quickly in the baby room and I felt reassured knowing she was happy when I left her in their care. She is now in the toddler room and seems to have settled in there quickly too. All staff are friendly and polite.

My son is 16 months old and has been at this nursery since he was 7 months old. Can't fault anything about the nursery. The staff are brilliant and talk you through everything about your child's day from what they have done to what they have eaten and what times their nappy has been changed! My son
is really settled and I feel he's more advanced from being at this nursery. Also, the food variety for the children is really good. :-)

My 2 daughters have attended Oranges and Lemons since November 2015 and we wish we had enquired about places here earlier. We are overjoyed at how welcome our girls are made to feel every day by each and every one of the nursery staff. The girls in the 2-3 room are very kind and caring towards my youngest
and the girls in the 3-5 room make sure my eldest is settled quickly as she only attends pm session. The management team have helped me with enquiries I've had about helping my girls sleep all night, special medication etc. A wonderful nursery setting.

Both our sons have been at Oranges and Lemons from an early age and we could not imagine a better nursery education for them. The staff are caring, nurturing and good educators. The building is well set up with fantastic outdoor space which our boys can't get enough of. Their access to learning resources,
including technology, is evident even in the nursery's use of an online learning portal. Our eldest attends school in August and we feel the nursery has been there every step of the way in support of him growing into a confident, independent little boy set to take on his next adventure It's easy to recommend this nursery, it has the perfect balance of activity, challenge and experiences to match the needs of every child. All this is brought together with a fantastic management team, who ensure the staff are best placed to deliver a great education and take the time to know and care for every child and parent.

We have had our 3 girls at the nursery for many years (2 are at school now) and they have all loved it there. Plenty of space, friendly staff. They are always doing fun activities. The outside space is fantastic, and they have a great time playing in the woods "mud patch" in the summer. We've been recommending
the nursery to friends for years and several are there now and very happy with it.

Both of my girls go to this nursery since they were several months old. And they are now 4 and 2 years. They both receive great care at the nursery. There's always plenty of variety of activities on going for the kids. They've learnt a lot from the nursery. More importantly, they have fun. They love
to go to the nursery. My 4 years-old even wants to go on the weekend!! As a family far away from our original country and with not much support from our bigger family, we always received help and support from the staffs at the nursery. They really are like family to us. I would highly recommend this nursery to everyone.

My 2 children have attended this nursery at different times. The facilities are excellent. We chose this nursery due to the huge outdoor area they have, especially the mud patch. My daughter is quite shy but she was so welcomed at this nursery and encouraged to take part in projects. My son has a very
close bond with the teachers and talks about them at home. I'm always very impressed when I pick him up from nursery and the teachers can tell me exactly how much he ate that day and what he enjoyed and didn't.
Considering they have a lot of children to look after they still seem to know everything that's gone on with each child that day. The food they are served for snacks and lunch always sounds amazing and are so healthy. The nursery has a very friendly and almost family-like atmosphere. Thank you so much to everyone at Oranges and Lemons Tech Park for taking such good care of my babies. I would, and very often do, recommend you to anyone.

Our son has been at Tech Park since he was nine months old. He is now five and ready for school. Throughout his time at Tech Park, we have seen him come on leaps and bounds. All of the staff have always been consistent, positive, kind and attentive. The food is excellent; tasty, balanced and nutritious.
At every age and stage there have been a huge variety of activites and opportunities for our son to learn. He really enjoys painting in the art room, finding out how things work in the construction room, exploring the garden and learning about growing food and flowers, playing in the den and mud patch and being a real wee boy.
Any issues about behaviour have been dealt with promptly and fairly, he clearly has a good relationship with all the staff. We deferred his school placement for a year, with the support of the staff. They follow the curriculum for excellence to prepare him for school and he is loving learning. The nursery have regular parents' evenings and we have always felt inolved.

The nursery is fantastic - purpose built, with the most amazing outdoor space. The staff are exceptional and genuinely caring and engaged with the children they look after. Both of my children have attended this nursery and I don't think there is anything I would change about their experience there.
The management team are wonderful - you are always greeted with a cheery hello - and they always make time to chat if you have anything you need to discuss. What I also like is that the staff are always coming up with new ideas of things to do with the children, from building a life size Viking ship out of cardboard, to building a mud kitchen in the garden. Their enthusiasm for what must be a very busy and exhausting job never ceases to amazes me! Thank you to all O&L staff!

Simply a fantastic nursery. All 3 of my children have been here from the baby room to leaving for school.


The care and attention of the staff is outstanding. They look after all aspects of care from naps and potty training to getting ready for school. The children become so fond of them and are happy

and content. They always have fun and interesting things to do and experience and the nursery constantly looks for new ideas and inspiration. Their outdoor space is outstanding with individualised areas for each age group. The highlight for the 3-5s is a "mudpatch" area in the trees where they are free to play with sticks and build dens, and they have a tortoise!


The management at the nursery is exceptional. They have high expectations of their staff yet maintain a positive and supportive environment. Many of the staff are working towards further qualifications. They work closely with the parents and seek and act on feedback.


The food is good quality and healthy, it's very clean and safe.

Very supportive and approachable staff, such a lovely positive establishment with good play and learning environments for children to develop, make friends and have fun. My twins have attended this nursery since they were nine months old and are now nearly ready to leave to start school. Throughout
