Dundee Nature Kindergarten is located in Dundee Technology Park, Explorer Road, Dundee and provides quality childcare and education for children from birth to five years of age.

They are delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.

The team of staff comprises a blend of mature, experienced and professionally qualified nursery nurses and trainees working towards their qualifications.

Playrooms are extensively resourced and carefully planned to provide children with an inspiring learning environment, where they can learn, grow and develop their confidence. All rooms offer children access to the nursery's large outdoor play area where they can enjoy regular outdoor learning experiences across the entire curriculum.

Offered is a variety of sessions including variable, part-time and full-time, working in partnership with Dundee Council are able to offer funding for pre-school sessions for children aged three to five-years-old.

The nursery provides children with freshly made, healthy meals and snacks, prepared on-site by the nursery's chef.

While children can enjoy celebrating different festivals and events throughout the year and have the opportunity to participate in regular outings the local area and further afield.

Children can benefit from a range of resources and equipment including e-learning journals and iPads as well as speech and language therapy.

This is an amazing nursery and both my children attend here.
The staff are excellent and they have provided a great support network to myself and my children, encouraging the kids to develop many skills. It’s a purpose built building ideal for kids.

Fantastic nursery. I know my son is in a safe, secure, fun and educational environment. The staff are very helpful, informative and loved by the children they care for. Excellent management team who always go the extra distance to help in any way they can. 10/10

Daughter loves going to nursery. She enjoys a variety of activities and learning environments indoors and outside. She has lots of stories from her day and is especially proud of her writing skills and ability to spell her name. She is encouraged to be independent but has group time which mix up pairs
to foster bonds with other children out with her normal ‘best friends’.
Staff will give a summary of the day but also encourage my child to explain what she got up to. The staff seem to have a good relationship with the children and my daughter is fond of several staff members.

The staff are very friendly and helpful. They look after individual needs. Any issues are sorted out straight away. It was the best decision to sign my daughter up and I think the best recommendations is that my daughter is always very happy after her day spent in the nursery. She always talks about
her great day over there and she looks forward to going to the nursery.

My 9-month-old daughter started at Oranges and Lemons Technology Park early April and absolutely loves it! All staff, from the nursery manager to the early years practitioners and even the chef, have been excellent in making sure that she feels comfortable, happy, and loved.
The baby room is a brilliant
space with lots of areas to explore. I love that there's a dedicated outside space for this age group so they can enjoy the fresh air and get involved in outdoor activities suitable to their age and ability.
At the end of every day, I get a mini written report telling me everything from nap times and nappy changes to what she's eaten and how much. This doesn't stop the room leader from taking time out and talking me through it, adding in as much as possible so I don't feel like I've missed out.
A wonderful place for little ones, run by thorough, kind and genuine people. Highly recommended!

Fantastic nursery. Cannot praise the staff highly enough, they all make a huge effort to learn all the kid’s names (even staff not directly involved with my daughter) and greet them individually on entering the building. Have found all staff extremely accommodating and easy to speak to. Detailed reports
at the end of each day.
Fantastic menu on offer. Play and learning facilities great - especially the outdoor access and more recently the therapony visits have gone down a storm. Five stars.

My son has been at the nursery since he was 11 months old. Since day one, we have had no issues whatsoever as he was made to feel welcome from the start. The nursery have played a major part in furthering his development through the group activities and one to one time he has with the staff.
My son
loves to be outdoors and the fact that he has so much space and activities to partake in outside is fantastic. Each day is a different adventure for him and he absolutely loves the bi-weekly visit from Bella and Rosie the ponies.
It is also very good to see the nursery investing money to ensure they have the best possible facilities on site. All staff are very attentive and we know that we are able to speak directly to either the manager or another staff member should we have any need to.

An amazing nursery for both my kids, they both love coming and see it as a second home. They have both come on so much at the nursery with staff supporting them not only with their learning through play but also with anxiety issues. The nursery is also spotless and the food provided is amazing!


The

kids love spending time in the garden and the “mud patch”. They also love the theraponies visits!


All the staff and management are fantastic in supporting the kids and parents alike.


I have previously recommended the nursery to others and would not hesitate in doing so again.

The nursery is a very welcoming environment with a fantastic outdoor space.
The staff are always welcoming, helpful and show a genuine interest in your child's wellbeing. Staff help children grow through a wide variety of learning experiences and encourage friendships.

Very happy with the level of care provided for both of my children. They both love coming to nursery. The nursery always seems clean. Things are well organised. Both of my children have enjoyed trips to the local park, library, shopping. Recently the visits from Theraponies has been very popular. Staff
have successfully worked hard to help my son over issues such as separation anxiety and food issues. Now he loves and eats nearly everything on the menu which is also having a positive impact at home. I find all staff approachable and caring. The outside space available to the children is excellent and they are encouraged to be outside daily. I am very happy that I chose this nursery for my children.

Before my son went to Oranges and Lemons he was very shy and didn't want to say much. After this few months' he not only started to count to 20, he learnt how to behave with his peers. The nursery workers are very polite and every day my son is receiving excellent care.
When I bring him home I receive
full information, what he was eating, when they changed his nappy and did he learn something new. I can recommend Oranges and Lemons to everyone with no regrets.

I highly recommend this nursery. On entering the building the manager and staff are very welcoming. The nursery offers a lot of leaning for the children and also tailers to the children's needs. I have never had a problem with the staff or nursery.

My child has loved attending the nursery since day one. It is a fantastic nursery which has opened up so many opportunities for my child, they have access to so many different learning experiences that it would be difficult to provide them with on a one to one basis as their parent.


I love how staff

always acknowledge the children and think it is so impressive that both managers are able to address all children by their name - that is a lot of people to remember.


I love the size of their outdoor area also, it really does allow the children great access to outdoor play along with learning experiences.


Staff are also super approachable so I would never have any concerns in approaching them if I felt there was something I needed to discuss.
