Step by Step Private Nursery Maryhill

My daughter is so happy to go to nursery every morning, she loves playing all the wonderful activities and spending time with the lovely staff and other children. I am kept up to date via the app, which is great to look at if you have a spare minute through the day, showing what activities she has been doing (photographs/videos) and notes such as sleep/eating etc. Has been a fantastic nursery for both my girls, and would highly recommend to anyone looking for a nursery in Glasgow west-end area.

My daughter has been attending here for a number of months and the staff are really wonderful. You are always kept up to date and my daughter has settled in very well due to their understanding and caring nature. Totally recommend this place to any parent, looking for a caring, nurturing and safe nursery.

My child has had the best experience at Step by Step. She is confident going into nursery each morning and really likes the staff, the range of activities and making lots of friends. The range of learning activities has been great and I know the nursery staff are supporting her development for school. Would highly recommend Step by Step.

My son really loves the nursery. They often go to the park, the library, they play in the garden and also they are doing lots of activities in the playroom. He really enjoys the playroom and he likes the food as well.

This is a fantastic nursery. My son struggled to settle at first but the staff have always been so patient and understanding with him. They always do whatever they can to meet his needs and support his development. They get a lot of outdoor time in the garden and local parks and visits to the fire station, library etc. The staff all work so hard and are very knowledgeable, friendly and approachable. I would highly recommend this nursery.

Can’t speak highly enough of Step by Step Nursery and all the staff. Facilities are great and the staff are fantastic. My child has been attending for two years, moving through the rooms, and his development has been great.

I love the dining room experience that the children have. They get to eat together at the table (flower included!) and are encouraged to help themselves and be self sufficient as much as they can, which is developing good life skills and allowing them some independence. All while being guided and assisted when and if required.

Step by Step is a fantastic nursery! Our 4 and 2 year olds always come home happy with smiles on their faces. The staff are all friendly and really seem to care about the children under their care. Our son has multiple severe allergies which the nursery has really done their best to navigate and improve how they manage children with allergies. The graduation ceremony they organised was wonderful and had me in tears! Wouldn't hesitate to recommend Step by Step.

My grandchildren have been attending for nearly three years now and I am always delighted at how well the staff know my grandbabies and make an effort to get to know our family. My grandson regularly boasts about his trips to the forest and if a dirty child is a happy child then this applies to him. My granddaughter on the other hand loves to be a princess and staff use her interest in this to develop her colours and she loves the singing and dancing activities. I will be sad when both leave for school as we really have felt like part of an extended family.

He has come on so much developmentally (often comes home singing songs, or telling me stories from the day). The staff come up with so many fun activities for them. I love getting the updates and photos from the day. He gets to do all sorts of messy play activities (he loves their mud kitchen), painting and cooking. During June they had a paddling pool to play in, lots of picnics outside and went exploring the garden for bugs. There have also been opportunities to visit and see my son playing in the nursery (stay-and-play sessions). Was so lovely to see him interacting with other children and staff, and to know he was genuinely happy there.

My son has been attending Step by Step at Maryhill for over a year since he was one and I am very pleased with the care they provide. They are happy to receive feedback and have helped my son to develop his language skills and fine motor skills. The children get to spend time outdoors both in the nursery garden and in the nearby parks. Overall very happy with the nursery and would recommend it to other parents.

Wonderful nursery! Staff are excellent, helpful, and attentive. My son especially loves the sensory activities. There is a helpful app that gives you details of their day which really helped me with the nursery transition as a new mum.

Really engaged and caring staff. Lots of different activities each day for the children. Good Opportunities for visits outside the nursery to local parks and shops. Regular updates on daily activities, and on overall progress and development.

I am so happy about this nursery my son is happy to go to this nursery. All staff are very nice, kind and very helpful with kids. I am so proud of Step by Step Nursery, my son is very happy there and all staff are very caring and loving with kids all the time.

Step by step nursery Maryhill is a brilliant nursery with caring and helpful staff. They really helped our eldest settle in when he started nursery again after a long break due to Covid lockdowns. They have always communicated quickly and been proactive with feedback. We would highly recommend!

Couldn’t recommend Step by Step Maryhill enough. The girls are great with my little boy. Keep me updated regularly throughout the day which is a great peace of mind from starting from a young age. The picture and daily updates are great. The things my little boy has learned in there have been amazing and they know the right steps he should be at for his age. Girls are lovely too!

All staff are very friendly. They pay attention to taking care of my son as well as his development skills. My son has very good care from the nursery. He really loves to go there have fun with other children, play and learn new things.

Lovely nursery! The staff are great and very friendly. The communication is fantastic, especially given recent times with Covid-19. Very reliable. The app that they use is really good. It's so nice getting updates and seeing some photos. The activities and crafts that they do are great, such as water play, books, songs and painting for cards. My wee one really enjoys her time at nursery and is happy there, which is so important. Thank you to everyone at Step by Step Private Nursery Maryhill.
