Smiley Stars Nursery - Mansewood

I am very confident that my child receives the best care when at nursery as he is very shy with people out with his family, but when I take him into nursery he is comfortable enough to go to and cuddle the staff in his room.

My son has made amazing progress since being at the nursery and seems to enjoy it. He went bounding in after the Christmas holidays and can do things you would never expect from a 2-year-old. Some of that must certainly be to do with encouragement from the nursery.

I have had three children at this nursery. My youngest daughter is the last of my three to go there. I cannot fault it at all. The staff are amazing and have been with all my children. I have been using this nursery for 6 years and would highly recommend it. The rooms are large and they have a 0-12 months room which I found better than the 0-2 years. They always have the children outside in the garden where there is lots to do. It does home-cooked healthy meals which all my children ate.

I cannot thank the staff at Smiley Stars enough for all they have done for our son. He absolutely loves it there.

The staff are very helpful and friendly considering that we were new and recently relocated. Very understanding and they guided us on what to do and gave us all the information we needed. Even my son loves it there and loves his teacher. We would recommend to anyone.

My 18-month old son has been attending Smiley Stars for 3 days a week for the past 4-months or so. During that time he has come on in leaps and bounds with the excellent team ensuring that there's never a dull moment for him and that he learns and grows through play every day. How can I be sure? Well, for one thing, there's the app that the team uses to provide written updates and photographs of key moments in the day. There's also an online learning journal to record key outcomes and update us on speech, language, creative and motor skills and whatever else his wee mind is exploring. In person the team have been superb, even dealing with his recent teething pains like the experts that they truly are. The nursery areas indoors are clean, bright and homely with plenty of stimulating activities. The wee ones also get outside to the garden as often as practical so there's a good balance of activities. My son loves attending and I'd happily recommend Smiley Stars to friends.

After reviewing many nurseries deciding which one to choose to send our daughter to, Smiley Stars has greatly exceeded the expectation we have had.

The use of technology for the facilities as well as learning, my daughter has come on leaps and bounds and every child looks happy when I pick up my little girl.

The staff cannot be more friendly and accommodating. They listen to the needs of the parent, as well as a child, which helps relieve stress as we know it can be heartbreaking to leave our child even for a few minutes.

The staff are a credit to child care everywhere and we consider ourselves extremely fortunate for the security and care they provide for our daughter.

My two girls have been attending Smiley Stars since they were each one year old. The nursery provides educational, structured play on a friendly, bright and homely environment. The staff are all so kind and accommodating. Both my children look forward to going to nursery and seeing their ‘ladies’. We get regular updates via the Famly app and Learning Journals. The nursery has recently undergone a major renovation and the results are exceptional.

Smiley Stars is a wonderful nursery to send my little girl, it truly is a home from home environment. The staff are fantastic a great team together and very hard working. The Famly app is amazing as I can see what my little one is up to throughout the day which is awesome. The staff have helped develop and given my daughter skills that will help her throughout her time at the nursery and onto school.

The communication on a day to day basis keeps me informed of his day, activities and I love receiving pictures of him having fun! This makes leaving him a million times easier and still makes me feel involved.

My daughter has been going to this nursery from when she was 6 months old and now she is going to be 3 years very soon. This nursery has been exceptionally good in terms of safety, cleanliness and professionalism. The staff are well trained and very nice. They have accommodated all our requests and overall excellent 10/10.

Brilliant Nursery, don’t regret picking this nursery for my child. All the staff are extremely friendly and lovely. They take into account your child’s needs. Ever since starting the nursery my little boy's speech has come along amazingly. He has learned a lot too. Would recommend this nursery to anyone looking for a nursery to send their children to.
