Smiley Stars Nursery - Mansewood

Our daughter loves going to nursery, and it has continued to develop her skills. We have a great relationship with the nursery, and we are pleased we managed to get a space for our son so that he can have the same experience as his sister has.

The staff is really responsible and friendly. The app is best of all, as it keeps us on track for the whole day of the kids.

I trust them with my daughter wholeheartedly! My daughter attends four days a week and has done for three years now. They go above and beyond to try and accommodate you and your child. The staff really care about all the children, and the kids always have a great time. They adapt their teaching to meet the needs of the child and are completely inclusive.

Over the moon with how my little girl has settled into Smiley Starts Nursery. The staff are so lovely and always fast to get back to with any questions I may have. Food is varied and nutritious - my girl has enjoyed everything she has been served. Children take part in a good mix of indoor and outdoor activities every day, which we love! A massive thank you for everything you all do.

Both my boys enjoyed attending Smiley Stars Nursery. The staff were so friendly, supporting me and my boys through difficult changes in home circumstances. Communication was fab, and the app was always up-to-date, which put my mind at ease, particularly when returning to work from maternity leave.

Our son has been at Smiley Stars Nursery Mansewood for four years and we all love it there. Lovely staff who care about the kids, fun learning environment, good variety of food (all meals catered for which is ideal), easy and quick communication through the Famly app. Wouldn’t hesitate to recommend.

Sadly the time has come for my son to go to school now, and I can’t praise the staff enough for all their hard work! We will miss you all. I would highly recommend the nursery.

A fabulous team of caring and enthusiastic staff who go above and beyond to aid the children's development. Our daughter loves going to nursery and rushes in every morning! She has had a fantastic time in a fun environment and has come on leaps and bounds since she started. Communication between parents and staff is second to none, especially with the app giving you multiple daily updates. I would highly recommend this nursery to any parent!

Amazing nursery. My son joined in the middle of lockdown, and the girls in the baby room were great with him, and he settled quickly. I have always felt reassured and confident that he is in good hands. He is now 20-months and has moved up a room where the girls are again brilliant with him. He is so excited to go to nursery and babbles away about the staff and his friends before and after. We get regular photos and updates throughout the day and are kept up to date on his development reviews. He is very well looked after, and we are so happy to have found this nursery for him. Every day the staff set out different fun and educational activities for the children with regular outdoor play. The meals and snacks provided are great, and nothing is ever a bother for the staff, who seem to genuinely care about the children. Special mention to three particular members of staff, who are excellent at what they do - they are a credit to the nursery, and my son is lucky to have them be involved in his care.

Our son started here in the March of 2021, and we have had the best experience at Smiley Stars - Mansewood. The staff are excellent and professional, and this was especially important for me when we started as our son hadn't really seen many people due to Covid lockdowns. He settled in so well and loves all the fun activities and play with his friends and staff throughout that day. For me, the warmth, engagement and great relationships he has with the staff are brilliant. Fantastic communication on drop off and pick up, and I love the app for keeping me up to date. Also, meals are nutritious, and this helped add more variety for my son, who can be a picky eater at times. We could not be happier with Smiley Stars and the amazing team.

My children truly love going to Smiley Stars and have been going there for over a year. This is all thanks to the amazing staff that love and look after the children. The atmosphere is great, and everyone always has a smile on their face. A brilliant nursery.

Was terrified of putting my child into the nursery before he could speak but had no choice as I needed to return back to work. I am blessed we got him into Smiley Stars as it's been great, and he loves it! After visiting multiple nurseries in the area and never feeling fully satisfied, it is no exaggeration that after my induction, I instantly knew this was the best nursery for us. They are super organized and have a great structure to their day. I absolutely love the app and enjoy receiving updates on my child, so I always know he's being looked after well. The app is great for anxious mamas like me as I am able to see what my son is up to, what he's eating, nappy changes and nap times. Overall, it was more expensive than other nurseries in the area, however, hot food and nappies etc are included, so I guess it ends up working out the same. Also, my son absolutely loves his breakfast and lunches; I'm not surprised as the menu always sounds delicious!

Lovely staff and a wonderful, clean environment. Can’t rate this establishment enough. It is a very clean and safe nursery, and I will be sad when my youngest leaves to start school soon. He has enjoyed his years within the nursery setting, as did my older children.

All of the staff at Smiley Stars - Mansewood are fantastic with our one-year-old. I know that just from how much he likes them, let alone how much they keep us updated and ask us questions to make sure his care is what we want. They take him outdoors, which I like, and the food seems varied and healthy. I am generally very happy with the nursery and would recommend.

Her interaction has been limited to just us parents the majority of the time, so it's been great to send her to nursery in a safe, engaging environment.

Totally happy to be with Smiley Stars Nursery, and I am sure my son will miss them when he moves to the school!

As a nervous parent, I couldn’t be more relaxed and happy with this nursery. The management and team have been immensely supportive and helpful to my children and me. The nursery has been so accommodating to our needs for the benefit of my kids. I am very glad I have found this nursery.

Couldn’t be happier with the standard of care provided by Smiley Stars. My daughter skips in every morning and doesn’t want to leave every night. The staff and management are very hardworking and go above and beyond. They show real affection and passion for what they do.

Great facility - key workers have a great relationship with the kids and kids are encouraged to build their relationships with key workers and other kids. Food could be improved (my kids get baked beans every week). Communication is great and any issues are dealt with quickly but sometimes dirty nappies aren't changed immediately. A bit sad that many staff smoke - I appreciate that they leave the premises to smoke but not a great habit for kids to learn about.
