Happitots Nursery Garrowhill is a purpose built building, situated within Garrowhill Park in the East End of Glasgow and is part of a well-established nursery group. They are delighted to have been awarded NMT Nursery Group Award 2018.
Happitots offers four age-appropriate playrooms that provide safe, engaging and stimulating play areas for children to play, learn and develop. Rooms are designed with children’s learning and development in mind and are well resourced with a variety of educational, messy play, physical, art and sensory play toys.
There are two small bespoke garden areas to the front of the nursery which also uses the adjoining park and church grounds for play and learning opportunities. Happitots make use of the local park, giving children opportunities to run around, play in the sand and improve their climbing skills.
Happitots Staff team are passionate and dedicated to the care of children and ensuring that children are safe and engaged throughout their time at nursery. All staff are fully disclosed and qualified or working towards a qualification in childcare.
Happitots operates in partnership with Glasgow City Council to offer funded sessions and provide a range of session patters to suit all childcare needs including variable session, extra sessions, full and part-time.
Included in fees are quality early year’s care and education, healthy meals and snack.

I can't fault Happitots on anything. All staff are great with updates ion my learning port to show interaction each day/week. My little girl has come on loads since joining nursery since she's was 7 months.

I have two children in the nursery, in different room's. All staff are extremely caring and professional. My children love coming to nursery, have lots of friends and are comfortable with all the staff. They are developing the skills they need to learn and socialise. It is a great nursery.

Nursery is a very warm and friendly environment. The staff know children very well, and needs are met. The nursery has been flexible for us when required for extra session. A good selection of activities are planned each day, and meals are freshly cooked on site.

My son has been here since he was six months old. The staff are fantastic. I have seen his abilities progress over the past two and a half years. The nursery offers a great selection of meals and snacks to give the kids each day. Upon pick up I am always told how my son has been, if he has napped and what he has eaten. I also get pictures and feedback through the online site. The nursery have regular yearly events and have a parents night so that both parties can chat about the progress of their child. This nursery also only closes between Christmas and New Year and it is always clean.
We are two full-time hard-working parents and the opening hours of 8-6 is great for pick up and drop off. Upon arrival we are always greeted with a smile by the staff and they acknowledge my child. I like the routine of sitting at a table for breakfast and lunch. The nursery has a garden which the kids can play in when the weather is okay. The manager is also approachable at any time. I would highly recommend it!

Since my daughter has joined Happitots she has come on leaps and bounds. The fantastic staff have all made sure she felt comfortable and brought her out her shell; developing her confidence, teaching her lots of exciting things and taking her to many exciting places are all daily occurrences.
