My son has been in the nursery since he was 9 months and has been in 3 rooms - babies, toddlers and twos. I have found the staff in each the room to be amazing with the children. They are very patient and understanding with the children and only too happy to accommodate any requests I have had....
My son has been in the nursery since he was 9 months and has been in 3 rooms - babies, toddlers and twos. I have found the staff in each the room to be amazing with the children. They are very patient and understanding with the children and only too happy to accommodate any requests I have had. There is always a friendly face in the morning when dropping off and in the evenings they will always take the time to go through what my son has done during the day that is personal to his experience.
There is fantastic communication from the management on the day to day running of the nursery via their newsletters and they take the time to organise social events for the nursery children (e.g. Easter egg hunts etc) which gives us as parents the opportunity to spend time with other parents in the nursery and socialise. The amount of hard work everyone puts in, that is over and above what is needed, is amazing and massively appreciated.

Lorraine has been working at Bright Horizons since May 2004. She progressed from a nursery assistant to the nursery manager at Cramond. In 2025, Lorraine moved to Bright Horizons Livingston as the Nursery Manager. She is qualified in paediatric first aid, first aid at work, child protection, and food hygiene, and she also holds Level 1 and Level 2 Coaching Skills.
