The nursery provides care for children aged from birth to five years and has four dedicated playrooms for each age group. Each playroom is designed specifically for each age group with plenty of quality resources and equipment.
There are substantial outdoor areas and a wooded area offering opportunities for outdoor learning.
They have a dedicated team of practitioners who have a range of skills, qualifications and experiences. Staff value each child as an individual and plan learning opportunities to enable them to grow and flourish. A strong emphasis is placed on developing life long skills and children are encouraged to be active participants in the planning process.
There is a genuine sense of partnership between the staff team, children and their families.
Included in fees; quality early year’s care and education, healthy meals and snacks, speech and language therapy, e-learning journals, interactive smartboard.
Offer funded hours for 3-5-year-olds as well as eligible 2-year-olds and now offer extended funded hours, up to 22.5 hours per week.
Celebrates festivals throughout the year and makes regular outings in the local area. A graduation ceremony takes place when children are ready to move on to primary school.

Overall Experience
All the staff in the nursery take time to get to know each individual child really well, not just their class teachers, but the manager and the cook also. The nursery updates the Learning Journals regularly, so that we can see on a day by day basis what they've been up. My son has loved his 3 years...
All the staff in the nursery take time to get to know each individual child really well, not just their class teachers, but the manager and the cook also. The nursery updates the Learning Journals regularly, so that we can see on a day by day basis what they've been up. My son has loved his 3 years at Celtic Cross and is genuinely sad to be leaving to go to school.

Our son have been at the Celtic Cross nursery for three years, and we highly recommend it. Everyone knows the names of all the children, and each child is loved and cared for. There are always lots of activities, because the staff is inventive in keeping every day fun and interesting, come rain or shine. One particular thing to mention is lots of outdoor activities and the good use of the park areas outside.
