A HOMELY AND INSPIRING NURSERY IN ABERDEEN

You and your child will love the spacious and nurturing Treehouse Early Care and Education Centre. Situated onsite at Robert Gordon University, they offer childcare to university staff, children and the local community. The experienced and highly skilled staff offer enriching activities to support children’s development from the age of 3 months to 5 years.

It is a purpose-built setting that has a large Under 2s space that can be split into separate multifunctioning rooms. This allows them to change up the space depending on the interests and developmental stages of the children. Younger babies love learning about the world through sensory activities, discovering new textures, sights and sounds. They use their natural curiosity to improve their gross and fine motor skills as they learn how to interact with the world around them.

The rooms have lots of natural light and space to play, discover and investigate. The nursery's educational resources provide a broad range of learning experiences, from exploring and reading in the cosy book nook, to learning about the world through IT and STEM activities.

Outside, the beautiful Treehouse nursery has garden areas focused for each age group. The Under 2s’ garden provides the younger children with a safe space to explore and learn. Older children have freeflow access out to a large space with lots of unique learning opportunities including a mud kitchen, balance equipment and tricycles.

Treehouse nursery has been the most perfect setting for our 2 boys. Both have been since 9 months old and instantly settled into the babies room. The warm & nurturing nature of all the staff helped them to have no problem attending. Our older boy has progressed up the rooms and created a great bond
with both staff & kids. Would highly recommend Treehouse nursery to anyone. The outside areas are so fab our boys love exploring all the areas & activities put on. A big thank you to all!

I cannot fault the nursery, we love it! Wonderfully kind & caring staff who make a real effort to know & understand not only your children but their family too. A massive selling point for us is the outdoor spaces which are brilliant & a real highlight for our outdoor loving boys. Would highly recommend

Excellent nursery with a bunch of friendly staff. My son always loves going to nursery and enjoys the variety of activities he gets to do while at nursery. The meal choices they have is great as well. Staff are always ready to assist with any queries I have and provided the best support possible throughout

A lovely nursery, that is extremely child-centred and nurturing. Our little one had a great transition plan which contributed to her feeling secure and settled. We couldn't be happier with the care and support our two boys get at Treehouse. All of the staff are kind, approachable, nurturing and fun! Our boys love coming to nursery and often speak of the experiences they've had. Our eldest absolutely loves going swimming and to his dance class! It's been wonderful

My daughter has been with Bright Horizons (Treehouse) since she was a baby. She is currently in the '2's' room. We cannot express how much she enjoys her time at nursery. The staff are wonderful, so attentive and caring. The activities that they come up with are really creative and I love seeing how

Our child loves the Treehouse nursery. The genuine care shown is fantastic and all staff share a strong bond with our daughter. We have been delighted with our experience with Bright Horizons treehouse nursery so far! The management and staff are approachable and delightful people, they all really seem to care. The building and garden facilities are great. We really enjoy the app used for updates & communication. Communication
overall is good and the app updates give us a view into all the fun activities our son is getting to do/learn about.


They have been great at dealing with our son's allergies, he still has a lovely varied diet while he is there. They also really take the child's comfort into consideration before moving between rooms.


Our son has come on leaps and bounds since he joined and he seems to absolutely love it there. Would highly recommend this nursery to anyone.

We couldn't ask for a better nursery experience! Outstanding care, warmth and professionalism. The management is truly fantastic - always approachable, organised and genuinely interested in each child's development and happiness.
The graduation ceremony last weekend was a perfect send-off: thoughtful,
emotional and beautifully put together. Every detail reflected the love and dedication the nursery puts into its work/children. Thank you for giving our daughter such a wonderful start in life and helping her to grow!

I couldn't be more satisfied with the treatment and service received from Bright Horizons The Treehouse Early Care & Education Centre staff, the service is just excellent and as described, it is aimed at motivating brain learning skills, children's autonomy and emotional intelligence skills in children.
The
staff are passionate about their job and my son loves them.
All my expectations, as a mother, have been exceeded and the result is noticeable in my son's behaviour and knowledge after spending nearly a year at this nursery.
My only regret is that I did not ask for a space sooner.

Bright Horizons The Treehouse Early Care & Education Centre team has looked after my 4-year-old and my 9-month-old for the last three years. The environment is absolutely brilliant with a great outdoor space, quite rare for Aberdeen. But what really makes my experience positive is the staff. Very kind,
reassuring and helpful. They always had time to catch up without forgetting a bit of a banter. Finally, the app is a brilliant tool to be updated on all the activities made during the day (from gardening to their private allotment to seeing the evolution of a caterpillar to a butterfly and so many more...).
I cannot thank them enough for the experience provided to my children.
Great atmosphere and a fantastic team that we will miss.

Staff are great, very happy and helpful. The app used for updates is good, only thing is that the use of updating the lunch and snacks could be more frequent/consistent.

Bright Horizons nursery has looked after my 4-year-old for almost two years now, and I am always astounded by their thorough care and love for looking after children. My child always comes home with the biggest smile, has a fantastic safety net of nursery teachers that he is very close and comfortable

Really lovely and professional staff, who genuinely know and care about my daughter. The biggest draws to the nursery for us, were the facilities, amazing outdoor space and lovely green location. My daughter loves going to nursery and has come on a lot, particularly in terms of her communication and
sociability around adults and other children. The only area for improvement that I can note so far, is in communication. Emails and questions on the family app are not always acknowledged or replied to. Overall, I am very happy with the service that we receive.

Job Title: Nursery Manager

I have over 30 years’ service with Bright Horizons and during this time have progressed along a career path of Practitioner, Senior Practitioner, Deputy, Manager, Senior Manager and Regional Manager. I am currently a Senior Manager of Treehouse and love spending time with the children and making a difference. My qualifications include NNEB and PDA in Childcare & Education, NEBS Management, D32 & D33, SVQ in Customer Care, and in July 2016 I graduated from Aberdeen University with a BA Childhood Practice Award.


I am dedicated to continually up-skilling our nursery team, through the provision of in-house and outsourced training, e-learning, coaching, and ensuring the spirit of learning is shared across all levels.


I am a proud mum of two children, both of whom have been fortunate enough to experience the care & education at Treehouse.

I have worked for Bright Horizons since August 2004 where she started at Treehouse as a Nursery Nurse and became Deputy Manager in April 2015.
