Our child is thriving having started nursery for the past year. She has learnt lots of new words including some sign language. She does activities like painting, arts and crafts that we wouldn't normally do at home. She seems very happy going to and coming from nursery and as parents we have never had
any issues or problems. Honestly, I cannot recommend Busy Bees Cardiff Gate enough.

My daughter has been at Busy Bees for just over a year now and she absolutely loves it. All the staff are friendly, helpful and attentive. They appear to have a wonderful relationship with every child.
When my little one first started the staff were fab at alleviating any anxieties I had and helped
us both to settle in. As she’s progressing through the rooms we still see and talk to previous key workers as they genuinely care about how my child is developing. We are kept updated via the app and text messages which is useful. Our daughter loves the food and has tried many things at nursery that she wouldn’t at home, which has helped her have a more varied diet.
Thoroughly recommend Busy Bees Cardiff Gate.

My son has gone to Busy Bees Cardiff Gate since he was 11 months old. He is now over 2 1/2. I have always found the staff to be approachable and friendly. Every room my son has been to has had staff that have taken such good care of him. The communication in the nursery is great. We love the app which
gives daily updates and pics of his day. The nursery regularly messages with any updates regarding the nursery. The staff are very good at supporting what we ask. For example, doing the same as us in regards to potty training.
Our son is always happy to go to nursery and is very fond of all the staff and the other children. I would definitely recommend Busy Bees Cardiff Gate to anyone who is looking for an excellent childcare provider.

Our little boy has been at Busy Bees for over a year now, he started when he was just 4 months old. The staff are always caring and thoughtful throughout.
They have a great routine for babies and toddlers, every day he does different activities and events.
My child loves going to this nursery, it
makes a difficult thing to be away from your child much more bearable knowing he is well looked after.
I highly recommend this nursery.

Our daughter has been at Busy Bees since she was about 10 months old, she started in May 2023.
She goes 2 full days a week and has the best days there! We get updates on meals, nappies, sleep, through the day plus pictures at least once a week.
She has learned so much there. I also love the fact
they do lots of 'messy play' and art which I do not enjoy doing at home so I'm glad she gets to do it somewhere.
The staff is amazing, so kind, and always willing to do what we need for her i.e. trying different ways of getting her to sleep for a nap, letting her learn to spoon feed herself, using different wet wipes (we brought them in).
Love the staff and the venue. Slightly pricier than others in Cardiff but we feel it's worth it, and the hours work for us with work also.
Would highly recommend it.

Excellent nursery, our kids are happy there and we have no concerns. Very good learning and staff are excellent. Look after the kids very well. We have a boy and a girl who both go there and they are always happy to go. A bit expensive but peace of mind for us that our kids are happy and safe. Also
close to M4 which is really handy for our work commute.

I have two children at Busy Bees Cardiff Gate. I moved my eldest here after a bad experience at a different nursery and couldn't be happier! Both my children love it here, the staff are so caring, my kids feel loved there! They provide fun activities for the children and lots of arts and crafts. They

Overall it has been a good experience with BusyBee Cardiff Gate Nursery.
My daughter enjoys attending nursery and is happy with the activities and fun.
She has learned a lot of new things picked up language and can communicate in a better way. The only problem we faced was that no HALAL food was available
at the nursery therefore our daughter had to go for the vegetarian food option due to that she didn't eat most of her lunch and every evening she was hungry and would have proper food with us at home once she come back to home from nursery. I would request nursery management to include HALAL food as it will give a more positive image of the nursery to be more inclusive and diverse considering the needs of Muslim children and respecting the wishes of their parents.

We have loved Busy Bees since our first walk around. The staff are fabulous and made us feel like our little one would be in the safest hands. When I saw the baby's sleeping room it surpassed all other nurseries and I knew he would be happy and comfortable there. The menu is always fantastic with a
5* hygiene rating, and our little one has a great appetite across a vast variety of foods. He is absolutely thriving and his development is often remarked upon by friends, family and even strangers when out and about. He loves all his key workers and carers and is excited to go in the mornings, and bounds out beaming in the evenings. We have used Busy Bees full-time since October 2021 from the baby room up to pre-school and we could not be happier with the care provided. Great nursery. My son absolutely loves going every day. The staff are always trying to find ways of keeping the children stimulated and learning new skills. The whole team are very welcoming and has made the transition of my son going into full-time nursery at 4 months old so much easier for both him

We love this nursery. Our son is our first so we were nervous leaving him at a nursery but he is absolutely thriving. All the staff actually care for the kids, almost like their own. Amazing staff, amazing treatment and development for children and a wonderful catering service as well.

I cannot praise them, Busy Bees, heavily enough, my daughter loves them and has developed so much in the last year and loves everyone there. In particular, I love how Busy Bees is willing to give Calpol first for a fever, she has only been sent home once in the whole of the last year!

The perfect nursery! Staff are so friendly and truly care for my 1 year old daughter. They keep us updated with pics, regularly and I am really comfortable leaving her in their care, despite being nervous about putting her in nursery at first. Every time we visit, the nursery is always clean and children
are always happy, which is the most important thing for me. We also regularly get sent art and crafts our daughter has done, which is a nice touch, really happy they do lots of stimulating activities. Sadly, we are leaving Busy Bees as the prices have increased and they're now one of the most expensive ones in in the area. However, other than this, I really cant fault them. Thank you for taking such great care of my girl!

Michelle Parker

Job Title: Centre Director

Hello, I am Michelle Parker, the Centre Director of Busy Bees Cardiff Gate. I have had the privilege of working with children for almost 20 years and during this time have held many posts which include running my own child-minding service. I am the mum of three grown up children and have a 6-year-old granddaughter, who I spend as much time with as possible.


I currently hold a Level 5 qualification in childcare and management, Level 3 play work and a speech language qualification.


I am passionate about the learning environment and child led play, it is the team's desire to provide a home from home for all our children at the nursery and to have close working relationships with our parents to make sure the children in our care get the best start in life at Busy Bees.
