The Hollies Day Nursery - Cardiff

When I collect my granddaughter, she is always happy and the staff are friendly and welcoming, they also know my granddaughter well and can tell me a lot of information about her day. The newly refurbished rooms are great.

Have had three of my children in The Hollies and have all had an amazing experience and have massively benefitted them all. All the nursery assistants have been professional and kind to us as a family. I would always recommend The Hollies to anyone thinking of putting their child into nursery.

I'm so pleased with the care and resources available to my two little boys. They both are so excited every morning to come to The Hollies. It's such a friendly nursery to walk into and the new refurbishments make it so much better.

My daughter attended Hollies for holiday club during school holidays. She was always happy to attend and couldn't wait to tell me what she had got up to during the day, this would include trips to local parks, cooking and craft/ creative activities. I always got good feedback from staff at the end of day and a written day sheet would be given too.

Our child clearly enjoys her time at The Hollies and is developing well, given a range of activities and opportunities to develop. They are thorough in their assessments and links to the curriculum. They foster a caring and friendly environment for children to thrive. Their effort and use of incidental Welsh and provision of Welsh language resources and communication is much appreciated. Also their new garden facilities are high quality.

This is our child's first year at The Hollies and they love it. When dropping off our child, we always see the children engaging in lots of fun and varied activities. The Staff are lovely and friendly too. The little diaries they keep for each child is a lovely touch and it was great to see photos of our child throughout the term when we went in for parents' evening.

My son has settled in well to the nursery having been ay other establishments previously. The nursery has been accommodating and flexible and have made us, as a family, feel very welcome and reassured with our childcare choice. The nursery is a wonderfully happy setting.

The feedback pieces of paper we get each day seem like a waste of paper and maybe a more digital approach would be better! The communication at the end of the day is thorough so not sure the paper is needed!

My child has settled in really well at The Hollies, which is credit to the staff. My child is always smiling and happy when I collect him. I love how much my child gets up to and how much care he receives in his day. His current key worker is so wonderful and caring, she is a credit to the team. I'd also like to thank his key worker from the baby room for welcoming us into the nursery with such kindness.

Very happy with my child's progress in 3-5 rooms. My child enjoys the activities and is learning a lot. The staff in 3-5 rooms are helpful and friendly and my child is comfortable with them.

My children have settled into the nursery with the support of caring, nurturing staff. The staff know my children's likes and interests and I can see how they have developed in the time they have been here. My children are always happy when I collect them.

All the health professionals that visit him; the staff have always been helpful and supportive.

My son absolutely loves The Hollies and all of the staff. Communication is fantastic, the staff are so friendly and knowledgeable. I have 100% in The Hollies. Everyone takes the time to get to know your child, their likes/dislikes. You only have to see the interaction between staff and my son to know how good of a job they do. The Hollies is more expensive than other nurseries in the area but totally worth the money.

Lovely nursery, lovely staff. Baby's done really well since starting here. The menu is varied and he's always entertained.

I have really enjoyed my experience with The Hollies. My daughter enjoys nursery. I have seen a huge change with her since putting her into The Hollies.

The garden space is beautiful with nice garden resources. The interior feels a bit outdated but I don't doubt the quality of care my daughter receives which is most important overall. I'm more than happy with our experience at The Hollies. My daughter is happy to go in and happy at pick up.

To me, The Hollies stands out because if its staff and going the extra mile, whether in extra 'stay and play', 'graduation' or other support.
