Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown)

A lovely setting that is clean and well organised. A great variety of food. My daughter was very happy here. My daughter was always welcomed and the staff were very friendly and professional. My daughter went to Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown) from six months old until starting school.

I have only recently returned to use the service provided and have found the staff to be very helpful and considerate, also it’s great to have bilingual staff in the setting, in keeping with our family values. The activities and experiences provided by the setting are diverse and child-focused. The children enjoy and speak very fondly of Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown).

My son has gone to Pobl Bach since he was a year old, the staff made a heart-wrenching time when you separate from your child after maternity a much easier and happier process for both of us. The care and attention they give every child are fantastic and they are always friendly to us parents too and are always happy to answer any questions or concerns you have. We have never felt anything but welcome and part of the family. My son is now 6 and is going to the ELC and still loves it.

I cannot express how grateful I am to the caters and managers and all the staff behind the scenes for their patient care and attention.

A fantastic, welcoming and supportive nursery. Friendly staff that are always there to help and support our needs. Particularly now that we’re in the middle of potty training! Couldn’t ask for better. Thank you so much to all the staff at Pobl Bach Nursery.

I sent my 12-year-old to Pobl Bach and now my 4-year-old is attending also. They both loved/ love going and I have had only a great experience with the nursery.

The kids' development is always the staff's main priority and their playtime always involves learning through play. They make sure to include art activities and promote positive relationships with little ones to learn life skills.

Amazing service, so friendly and welcoming they were so patient with my little one especially after she was born a week before lockdown and hadn't met anyone couldn't fault them and the food meals they provide were amazing made sure her food pallet was full of difference flavours for her to try. Well worth it and would recommend them to anyone

My son came on so well from being there and made moving up to primary school a walk in the park. The effort with learning they put in with the children is worth every penny.

Both my children have attended the nursery since the age of 6months. The facilities, staff and planned activities have been excellent throughout their time, which has provided them with invaluable key skills and development.

Both of my children have enjoyed attending the nursery setting and have made a lovely rapport with the staff and other children.

These days we take advantage of the ELC (After school and holiday club) that they offer, which has meant we have been able to keep the children in a familiar setting and part of the Pobl Bach family ??

My son has been attending Pobl Bach since he was 11 months old, he’s set to start school in a couple of weeks and I’m very saddened to be taking him out of this nursery, they’ve given him the best start I could have wished for, when I was browsing nurseries everybody local recommended Pobl Bach, they are known for being the best nursery in Carmarthen and I’m so glad I went with that advice, every member of staff cares for him like he’s there own, such a lovely setting and atmosphere, highly recommend!

My child loves going to daycare every morning, she’s made a great connection with all the staff. I love how I can see what she’s eaten and when she slept and for how long for. I feel comfortable leaving her there.

My son had a wonderful experience at the nursery from day one. He joined after his first birthday and was cared for with professionalism and love by the entire team until he started full-time school and joined the Early Learning Centre after-school club. The staff are helpful and supportive, to both the children and parents. I highly recommend.

My daughter has been in Pobl Bach since she was 6 months old. She is now 9. The staff have cared for her so well that she still loves going (now to the Early Learning Centre) and feels so at home there. There is always something organised to stimulate her interest and I trust the staff completely to support her and care for her. Pobl Bach has been part of our lives and as a single parent, I feel they support me as she grows and develops. They know her and are like family with her, like a special Aunty.

My daughter has been going to Pobl Bach since she was 9 months old, she’s come on so much in this time and now is 3 and a half. The staff are absolutely amazing and have done everything they can to make her feel settled. I can’t thank them enough.

My son has thrived at Pobl Bach Nursery. His speech in both Welsh and English languages has developed greatly. He thoroughly enjoys attending & looks forward to going each day! The meals provided are healthy and varied and my son always tells us of his yummy meals.

He has a happy welcome; every day, he's dropped off! The staff are amazing to him; he has learned so much since going here. Would definitely recommend.

A great nursery, with talented staff, who take great care of our children. Our boys go to nursery happy and come out happy, which speaks volumes. The boys have their favourite staff members, however, all the team are friendly and accommodating and the boys really like all the team at Johnstown. A big thanks to all the team.

First-class service from babies to 11 years old. The support we have had from Pobl Bach has been great. My oldest daughter loves her time and always wants to go more often. My youngest has had great support from the whole team in Johnstown.

My little girl started Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown) this September. I'm so glad I picked this nursery. She seems so happy there. We've never had any upsets dropping her off. In fact, she sometimes runs straight in without even looking back and saying goodbye. From what I've seen, the staff are all lovely. There is one that I see more of and am particularly fond of, but like I say they are all always so pleasant and always smiling. I can tell that my little girl feels comfortable there and is also very fond of the staff. I get lots of updates throughout the day, and photos too, which I love! And nothing is ever too much trouble. Any little request has always been instantly taken on board. I have felt comfortable leaving my daughter in their care, and I'm very overprotective and worry, so it's been such a relief for me. Thank you to all the lovely girls in the baby unit!
