Pobl Bach Nursery in Johnstown provides high quality care and education for children within a large, colourful, modern and open plan building.

The nursery offer top quality indoor equipment and a variety of age appropriate toys to support the learning and development of each child.

Pobl Bach promote and enjoy the benefit of outdoor space which is utilised at every opportunity. The gardens have specialised safety flooring to minimise accidents and offer a variety of age appropriate equipment, as well as stimulating features and sensory play areas, such as sand pits, wildlife areas and playhouses.

The nursery adopt a very friendly and caring atmosphere and this is displayed by the warm and loving relationships between the nursery staff and the children in their care.

Since my son started the staff are amazing with him. After first viewing I knew this was the creche for him, everyone is so friendly, polite, caring and pleasant. Nothing is ever too much trouble for them, they are so accommodating. You are updated via an app throughout the day about what they've eaten,
nappy change, sleep times, activities. A very good creche. Highly recommend.

Both our children have attended this nursery and I have no complaints about it. Very well run and the staff are all stellar! I especially like it’s proximity to the local primary school which allows the staff to provide a pick up service at the end of the school day.

The staff are absolutely fantastic, I really can’t put into words how wonderful and supportive they are. We love this nursery, nothing is too much trouble. The nursery do a lot of activities and learning in relation to festivals such as Chinese New Year and Easter. My daughter has been there since she was nine months and she is now three years old and still loves it. She had a tomato allergy when she was
a baby and the staff were super cautious and helpful. The app which shows you what food is eaten and how many nappies have been changed is handy. The nursery itself is bright, colourful and a fun environment.

Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown) has provided childcare for all three of my children from the age of nine months on wards. My youngest child is now coming to the end of her time there and I can honestly say that they have provided the best care and early years education for all three of them. The activities
that are planned for the children are engaging and have provided them with the early learning and social skills needed in preparation for moving to their nursery education in school. I find them very accommodating if I need additional days during holidays as my children are on a term time contract only. The staff are very nurturing and they have become a part of our extended family over the last ten years.

Both my daughters attend Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown) after visiting a few different options in the area, we felt this was the right place for us to choose. The staff are friendly and our girls are more than happy to head into nursery with a smile, which is a relief knowing they are going to a happy
place they wish to go. Facilities are good and the girls get nice food, they even eat options in school that we can’t get them to eat at home. We get updates through an app which lets us know what’s happening in the day. It’s really nice to see that there is always a programme and constructive learning throughout the day. I would recommend Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown) to others.

Both our daughters have attended Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown) since one years old and I absolutely love it! We cannot thank all the wonderful staff at both settings enough for the love and care that they have shown the girls over the years. They provide a safe and loving environment that is fun and
nurturing! Over the last twelve months, both settings have provided continuity and stability for the girls over the numerous lockdowns, allowing them safely to socialise and learn. Thank you all! They particularly like the lovely food.

My daughter absolutely loves going to Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown). She has a strong bond with staff, her friends and she learns new things everyday. Staff are extremely approachable and also very professional. She has balanced meals there and really enjoys them. Excellent communication between staff

My eldest son had a wonderful three years at Pobl Bach, so I didn't hesitate to send my youngest there. The staff there are so nurturing and he is as happy to go to them as to anyone in his family! I receive regular photos and keepsakes which provide an insight into the engaging activities he takes
part in each day. (Before Covid-19) My first son regularly went on outings: to the park and toddler swimming lessons, as well as seeing visitors at the nursery, including a nurse and a police officer. His experience was even further enriched by these activities and I look forward to my younger son being able to benefit from similar experiences in addition to fantastic every-day care.

My child is in the preschool area. I have noticed that his language, counting and social skills have all improved and I'm sure that this will prepare him well for starting school. He has a good relationship with the staff and other children. This month we have been doing potty training and the staff
have been very supportive which has helped with consistency.

A friendly, caring, family orientated setting. The staff put my mind at ease immediately. My children receive the highest standards of care along with enriching activities and educational experiences at Pobl Bach, and most importantly they are happy. Being a mum that finds it very difficult to trust
anyone to care for my children, I count myself very lucky to have the services of Pobl Bach available to me. We love being part of their family. Don't hesitate to give them a visit, you will not be disappointed.

We have used Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown) for around eight months now and are always happy with the service provided. The app that the nursery uses is great and really puts you as a parent at ease, with the regular updates on how your child is getting on and what they’ve been up to. My son is always
happy arriving and leaving which can only be a testament to the great work that all the staff do at Pobl Bach Nursery (Johnstown). Highly recommend.

Sian has been a member of the Pobl Bach team since she was 16 years old. She has gained valuable experience over the years and is currently our Nursery Manager in Johnstown. Sian is also a fluent Welsh-speaking member of staff.
