I can’t speak highly enough of this nursery and all of the staff. I have seen my son completely transform, develop and progress since attending. The time he spends at the nursery is both educational and fun, with a variety of activities and games. They also recognise and celebrate special traditions, such as Christmas parties, Easter egg decorating competitions, Chinese New Year, and world book day, which all make special memories for children. There is a fantastic variety of food all freshly cooked. The staff are all very friendly and approachable, whilst remaining professional. I cannot recommend this nursery enough to anyone thinking of sending their child.

I have found Southfield Day Nursery to be an excellent provider of childcare. The nursery nurses are all lovely and friendly and great with my child. When he first started Southfield, he was nervous and shy, but once he realised how much fun he was going to be having when he was there, he was fine! The staff are so caring and make sure he is ok when he arrives, and it's great to know at the end of each day how he has been. You always get a detailed explanation of everything they've done throughout the day. The app platform is also fantastic - I can see what he has been learning and how much he is enjoying his day. The staff also provide home learning activities through the app, and as a family, we have enjoyed doing these. I and my husband were particularly impressed with my son's use of Makaton. He can't say "thank you" but will automatically use the Makaton sign to say thank you to us when we give him something. This is down to the staff at Southfield!

Would highly recommend Southfield. My son has been going since he was 7-months-old, he is now 14-months, and it has brought him on so much, especially being in lockdown most of his life. The staff are great and have a great bond with him. He loves playing outside, and they have great.

After moving my son from a poor nursery to this nursery, the differences was phenomenal. The staff really care about the children. My son fitted in almost instantly and generally gets excited to go to nursery. His speech and general playing have come on great since he started here. As a child, who can be picky with food, he always eats all his meals and tells me about the nursery curry all the time.

Our son is 21-months and absolutely loves going to nursery. All the staff are so friendly and welcoming, and my mind is at rest knowing he’s cared for so well. We are always kept up to date with what he’s been up to when he’s been there and get photos sent to us on the app where his development is also monitored, which is amazing! Couldn’t recommend Southfield Day Nursery more!

My children have attended this nursery for a couple of years. I picked this nursery not only the early opening time that fits in with my shift pattern, but the homely family feeling that I got when we had our first visit. All the staff seem genuinely invested in the children and their well-being. They constantly change the learning experiences that are given to the children, so they are never bored. All their meals are home-cooked and have a great variety. My children are very much outdoor children regardless of the weather. The outdoor space this nursery has is great. They promote time outside and take the children on walks away from the nursery, which is always planned to have an educational link. I always feel very informed of my children’s development with the updates on the app linked to the early years foundations. Throughout the COVID-19 pandemic, the nursery has adapted to the ‘new normal’ to ensure staff and children safe whilst maintaining a level of normality.

Southfield is a lovely nursery, the staff are excellent, and the facilities are perfect. My son has additional needs, and he is always cared for expertly, I trust Southfield completely. He loves going there and has developed a lot by being there.

Our little boy was only at Southfield for four months but he had an absolutely brilliant time, mum and dad can't recommend it highly enough. Southfield was our son's first experience of being away from home and he made amazing progress from the first moment he stepped in the door. He really loved going to Nursery and on the days he wasn't attending would wake up and ask if it was Nursery today. He made friends and all of the staff he met were amazing with him. We would like to thank everyone at Southfields for the hard work and care taken to keep children, staff and parents safe during Covid. Hope to see you all again soon.

We absolutely love Southfield and would highly recommend. The staff are so friendly, welcoming and go above and beyond. When talking to them I feel like our little girl is the only child they have and they really know her and care for her. They do a huge range of activities and offer a variety of meals. Our little girl loves her days at Southfield!

Excellent staff excellent facilities learning plans are really good you can see your child's development weekly. Wish we had lived closer sooner so our child's experiences with everyone at Southfield could have lasted longer.

I have used this nursery for both my sons, one of which is 9yrs now and currently our 4yr old. Always have a variety of activities and meals, they really do go above and beyond if you need help and always put the kids first. Thank you.

I would highly recommend Southfields Nursery to other parents. My child has attended nursery since the age of 6months. She thoroughly enjoys her time there and has developed so much both socially and academically. The nursery staff are what make the nursery so amazing. Such hard-working wonderful people.

Southfield is a wonderful nursery which my daughter absolutely loves attending. Staff are really friendly and welcoming and make you feel at ease leaving your child in their care. The activities are well thought out and keep the children interested. Would highly recommend!!

My son loves attending this nursery. He takes part in many interesting activities, he also enjoys playing in the lovely garden. The staff members working within the nursery are welcoming, friendly and helpful.

Both my children have come on so much in their speech since going downstairs into the 2-3 and 3-4 year rooms!

I would highly recommend Southfield Day Nursery. Both of my children have come on leaps and bounds since joining, both socially and academically. The days are structured and planned. The outdoor space is amazing. One of my children suffers from food allergies and the staff have been amazing at accommodating. Nothing has ever been a problem when I’ve asked to swap days round etc. Emails are responded to quickly. I absolutely love the nursery and will be really sad when it’s time for my children to leave.

My daughter goes to this nursery, she loves it. Staff are amazing with the children. My child loves going on the adventure walks and beach trips.

We spent so long trying to find a nice local nursery and were so lucky to have discovered Southfields. Both of us, as parents and our triplets, have been made to feel so welcome from the first visit and at every drop off and collection. We feel very confident and reassured leaving our babies here, nothing is ever too much trouble. The staff are so knowledgeable, genuinely very caring and really are wonderful with all of the children, the environment is brilliant, the food is fab and the manager is so helpful and very hands-on with the children. All of the staff have gone above and beyond to help our children to have a smooth transition into nursery life and they have had such an evident positive impact on our babies already! Southfields is a hidden gem and a true home from home environment and we can't wait to watch our children grow as they continue their journey over the next couple of years!
