The nursery has a lovely relaxing atmosphere and I believe is the perfect size for young children to be socialised but not feel overwhelmed by older or greater numbers of children. The division between ages/developmental milestones works really well and I would recommend the nursery to anyone.

The staff are excellent and our two year old is incredibly happy there.

After a year off on maternity leave with my first child, I was very nervous about her starting nursery - especially as we had just moved into the area. But I didn't need to be worried. The nursery and staff were very welcoming and put in so much effort to make sure my daughter and I were happy. Even when I had concerns they were quickly answered. The Parentzone app is also great for getting regular updates and pictures so you know what they have been doing on a particular day.

Fantastic nursery, my daughter's confidence has doubled since she started at the nursery and actively asks if she can go there even when its a weekend.

Shotley Bridge nursery school is fantastic, staff are always friendly and willing to help.My daughter's education is outstanding from going to this nursery. The environment and cleanliness in the nursery are 10/10. I find the staff are always there not just for the children but the parents as well I can not knock this nursery back for anything.

My granddaughter attends this nursery, her confidence, speech and communication has truly blossomed from attending this nursery.

She loves going into the nursery to see her teachers and friends the nursery provides fun activities for the children to learn in a safe clean environment.

In May it is 6 years since the first of 3 grandchildren attended here. Standards excellent. Safety Excellent. All happy children I can't say much more.

My son has attended Shotley Bridge nursery since the age of 9 months and is now 2 years old. He has progressed so much from his time at the nursery, enjoying his time around other children and receiving first class care from the staff. I work away from home and find the app used by the nursery to keep parents updated with their child’s activities very useful. In particular, the efforts by the staff to include photos and descriptions of various fun and educational tasks my son has been involved in.

We have had our two boys at the nursery and can't praise enough the commitment of the staff. They are extremely engaging, caring and diligent. Their professionalism is unparalleled. The parent zone app allows parents to be kept abreast of the children's development in the nursery, from something as basic as eating habits to various milestones. Manners, courtesy and tidiness are also key features taught at nursery and I have witnessed them in our older boy. This nursery deserves high praise for what they do.

Fantastic Nursery! The staff are incredibly friendly and helpful. Both my kids adore their teachers and love going and come away every day with stories of what they’ve done, what they’ve learned and also what they’ve eaten :) I’m really pleased we found the nursery it’s a really positive influence on our children’s development

Shotley Bridge Nursery School Ltd is a wonderful nursery. The staff are lovely and are doing wonders for my daughter. The environment is very well designed and each room has an assortment of areas/activities for the children to take part in. Healthy snacks and food are provided as part of the cost. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

As a retired primary school deputy headmaster, I have a great deal of knowledge of the educational system. Although I never taught this age range I do know about management practices in educational establishments as well as teaching methods applied and interaction between teacher and pupil based on professional standards. From my knowledge of Shotley Bridge Nursery, I can say with confidence that the relationships between the children and the staff are excellent. From first-hand observation, I have found the management of the establishment to be outstanding, in part due to the exceptional work of the nursery staff. I would not hesitate to recommend this establishment to parents wishing to send their child to a nursery whose reputation, teaching practices and child welfare practices are of an outstanding level.

All three of my grandchildren have attended Shotley Bridge Nursery School Ltd. They have all received excellent care and have been very happy there.

Amazing nursery! Can’t fault it at all. My little girl has a great time, enjoys the activities, loves the staff and has lots of fun whilst also developing and learning so quickly.

The staff are friendly, caring and go out of their way to ensure my daughter feels at ease and safe whilst there!

They arrange many events out of school hours which means giving up their own time so that the children can have fun. We have attended many of the events including a Halloween party which my daughter loved.

I always praise this nursery when discussing with friends and I know many of my friends have chosen this nursery for their children on the back of my recommendation.

It will be a sad day when my daughter's journey with Shotley Bridge Nursery School ends. However, I am confident she will be fully prepared for the next chapter in her life thanks to her time at this nursery.
