Happy Tots Day Nursery

I feel really happy at the moment with my daughter's care when I'm not there and feel like it's important that praise is given. This key worker makes us feel so comfortable and welcome, and it's clear to see that she's very well suited to her role.

Excellent nursery, brilliant facilities and grounds. Wonderful staff and management team.

I love the parent zone app and finding out what my daughter has been up to each day. The staff are very thorough in telling me about her day each time I pick her up.

My son hasn't been at Happy Tots for long but already I can see how much he is enjoying it. One particular member of staff (in ladybird 1) I have noticed recently always looks at my son and speaks to him before me every morning he's at nursery. It may seem like a small thing but to me, I think it shows how much she cares :-)

Picking the right nursery was really difficult for me as we had just moved to Barrow from the Wirral. Happy Tots was 3rd time lucky. I would not be happy to have my son anywhere else. My son absolutely loves coming to nursery every day, He and I have developed a good relationship with the girls that look after him but also the hardworking ladies in the office and the ladies that cook his dinner every day. I particular like the way the kitchen staff cater for my son's fussy appetite, he will usually be cooked something totally different to the other children to ensure that he has eaten something substantial, healthy and that he enjoys. They have the best outdoor play area for the children and plenty of grass to run off their steam. I personally can't fault the place. 5-star nursery.

At the end of his session, I get a detailed handover of what he has been up to throughout his day at nursery from his key person.

My son has just started at Happy Tots Day Nursery fairly recently and has already blossomed from a shy, and clingy boy to a confident and happy little man. I was so concerned about him starting nursery as he had been with me 24/7 for the first 18 months but Happy Tots were fantastic at easing him in at his own pace and now he loves to go to "school" to have fun with all his friends. There is never a dull moment for him there and I'm regularly updated on all his activities and movements through my working day which massively helps with MY separation anxiety. The staff are great and really do care about the babies they look after, they have achieved routines (nap time) with my little one that I thought impossible. Couldn't be happier that I chose Happy Tots.

I would highly recommend this outstanding nursery. The staff are very kind and nurturing whilst the setting has lots of facilities for the children to use on a daily basis. It is a wonderful place for children to explore and develop. When I bring my son to nursery he lights up, he absolutely loves it. The staff are always so welcoming with big smiles and an inviting attitude. He loves to play with all the toys and facilities such as the soft play area and the large outdoor play area. I wouldn't want to take him anywhere else he is just so content at Happy Tots! Extremely pleased with how well he has settled in and how much he enjoys being there!

I think its value for money as he he went out on a trip and it was no extra fee, he loved it and can not wait to go again in he summer.

The staff are lovely and are always very helpful to anyone who comes into the nursery. There's always lots going on, different fun activities and events such as sports day this month. I always look forward to hearing what has been going on and what is coming up for the children to join in with.

It's such a hard choice where to send your child to nursery but after looking around Happy Tots, I knew this was the place. My daughter loves her nursery day and when we pull up in a morning she claps and gets so excited. She runs into her classroom without even a glance and this is a credit to the staff in Ladybird 2. She only attends one day a week, yet has come on so much. They are always doing something different with them and I love seeing what she has been up to on the nursery app. I cannot recommend this nursery enough.

I love the fact that I can see by using the app what he is doing at nursery and also all the different foods he is trying.

Amazing staff and an amazing day nursery.

My little girl is very happy to attend this nursery. The staff in the baby room is always very happy and welcoming and I have complete confidence that she is being well looked after. All the staff are very friendly. Looking forward to seeing my little girl develop and learn new things as she attends this nursery.

Excellent nursery !!!! My daughter has been here since January (the first term after she turned two) and is so much more confident counting and is learning her abc's, she has made loads of new friends and is overall more confident and adores all of the staff there

My daughter has been coming to the nursery now for nearly 2 years and in that time she has blossomed into a bright and independent little girl. She has been supported throughout her learning by amazing staff who are aware that she can be a little more shy and sensitive than some of her peers and accommodate this. I can't fault anything about the nursery and when I can I help out with baking cakes to support the nursery and charities. It will be sad when she leaves this year but I'm hoping we will still be able to use the after school and holiday club. Thank you Happy Tots for all that you do.

Such a fantastic nursery. I couldn't recommend Happy Tots more highly. Staff are brilliant with a genuine interest in every child. My little boy has come on leaps and bounds both socially and academically and the support offered is superb.

My son has been attending the nursery since he was 8 months old and the staff have always been brilliant with him encouraging him to grow in development on a personal and educational level. The nursery have a good varied menu and a huge outside space that is used at every opportunity. Staff have always been friendly and kept me up to date with his achievements and activities. Highly recommended by me and my son who loves going to nursery!
