Happy Tots Day Nursery provides quality and inspirational learning for children aged ten weeks to eleven years old.

It provides a nurturing and caring environment where everyone feels welcome and valued in their own right. It has established an enviable reputation for delivering a high-quality childcare service and this is recognised by both parents and Ofsted.

The children are cared for in a stimulating environment where each child can reach their full potential. Children are actively encouraged to explore, learn, communicate and interact with one another.

Happy Tots are very proud of their staff who you will find are enthusiastic, dedicated and highly qualified and this is what makes the nursery so special.

There are extensive separate gardens where the babies and children can explore and feel safe, but most of all have fun.

There is an open door policy to ensure there is effective communication at all times between the nursery and parents/carers.

Brilliant nursery overall. My daughter has come on brilliantly since being here and really loves coming to learn and see all the other kids and staff. Would highly recommend.

I’ve been using Happy Tots since we relocated to Barrow-In-Furness five years ago when my oldest was two years old. He now goes to the holiday club and my youngest has gone since she was nine months and is now in preschool owls.
The staff are fantastic from the apprentices to the senior staff. My children
have always been made to feel special and valued and I think their confidence is because of this.
The transition from one room to the next is always planned so that the kids stay confident and happy, not because they have reached a birthday and MUST move. My kids always moved up with a group and went for visits to the new room before going permanently.
The menu is fantastic, in fact, my children complain that my food isn’t as good as the chefs!
The grounds and outside space is ideal and they seem to utilise it to the best of its potential.
My kids have enjoyed every day of their time at Happy Tots.

My little boy has been attending Happy Tots since he was 1 and turns 3 in June, he loves every single minute of it. The range of activities that are provided are fantastic. I love hearing all about his fun-filled day as soon as we get in the car. The level of care that is provided is 100%. The children
are provided with a variety of healthy meals and snacks throughout the week which is also fantastic. I would highly recommend this nursery to any of my family and friends.

Excellent nursery with great facilities. Staff are very caring and fully explain your child's day at nursery when you arrive. Very friendly and approachable the children are at ease instantly and seem to be learning new things very quickly. Well balanced meals plenty throughout the day and are given
a wide range of activities. I would definitely recommend this nursery to others.

Fantastic nursery. The dedication of the staff shines through. The children access a wide range of activities and learning styles. My son loves nursery and is always excited to tell me all he's done when I pick him up. Staff are friendly, welcoming and reassuring. Couldn't recommend Happy Tots enough.

My child was previously in another nursery before but we were really pleased with how thorough the settling in process is.


The range of learning opportunities available are second to none. Everything is well planned and children are divided by age which means the activities are interesting, motivating,

hands-on and age appropriate. The nursery makes excellent use of outdoor space and there is also a soft play on the third floor.


Healthy and well-balanced meals and snacks are provided.


We are kept up to date with progress on a through the app. Our child is booked in for regular sessions but Happy Tots are very accommodating when we have needed extra sessions due to work commitments.


At the end of each session, we are given information about the day and what she's enjoyed doing.


It's is only now we realise how mediocre her old nursey was in comparison. My only regret is that we haven't used Happy Tots from day one - not only is it better in every aspect but it's also cheaper which is unbelievable!

Happy Tots is, in my opinion, the best nursery in the area. Both of my children have attended. The staff are amazing they always go the extra mile. They are currently helping me seek extra support for my daughter and I couldn't be more grateful to them for everything. The facilities are outstanding.
Huge gardens, loads of room for children to develop and grow. The staff are like my extended family.

My little girl loves going to Happy Tots Day Nursery and is always learning new things, taking part in interesting activities and growing and developing with each visit.
The staff are supportive and responsive to my requests and concerns - at each stage, she becomes more and more confident. All of
the key workers have been fantastic and I like how the nursery nurses often move around the rooms, creating continuity for the children.
I would recommend Happy Tots to other parents. Thank you to all the staff.

Used this nursery for both of my sons for the last 4 years. Amazing nursery and staff, flexible hours. Both my sons came on so much since joining Happy Tots and gained strong bonds with their keyworkers. Love the outdoor space here. Would definitely recommend.

Happy Tots Day Nursery is a great nursery! You can just tell how much my daughter loves it here, she has started to make great friendship with other children and staff! She says "they are my best friends". My daughter has come on so much with her development since being at Happy Tots and is so clever

My son has been attending Happy Tots since he was 8 months old, he’s now 2 1/2yrs. I can say without hesitation that putting him in this nursery has had such a positive effect and help with his development, mentally, physically and emotionally. The staff are incredibly caring and I have no doubts over
the level of care he is given when he is there. He enjoys his days there and I am confident with the care he receives.


I would highly recommend Happy Tots, not only will your child grow and have fun, but as a parent, you have complete confidence.

Our son has been at Happy Tots since he was 1 and is now 2, he loves nursery and has such a good time whilst he's there!


The staff are all very friendly, helpful, enthusiastic and provide loads of information about how your child has been that day. We feel confident that he is well cared for whilst

we are at work and they are always doing plenty to keep the children busy and are invested in the children's development and learning.


Parentzone is also a fabulous app the nursery use, particularly great for when your child is smaller as they update it throughout the day so you can have a quick look whilst at work!


They also provide all the meals which is great for the price as some other local nurseries are a similar price, if not more, without all meals provided.


These guys do a fab job and we would definitely recommend them to other parents :)

Fantastic nursery, I cannot rate it high enough! My child is in Ladybird One which is the baby room and she loves it! She especially loves the keyworker. All staff are friendly and well mannered and the children always look happy and well cared for. 10/10

My son has been at Happy Tots since he was 1 year old and absolutely loves his time there. He gets so excited in the morning and all the staff know him very well so he is more than happy to go to them. He is turning into a very clever and dependent little boy since his time at Happy Tots. The staff
are brilliant and do so many different activities with the children and my son is always bringing home different pieces of artwork. Such a lovely nursery and I would recommend it to everyone.

My son has really enjoyed his time at Happy Tots. He has come on really well with his number and letter work.
He really enjoys playing in the garden and doing different activities like sensory and trips to Grange.
The only negative to his time there would be the amount of key workers he has had.
They
have all been fantastic but there have been many.
