Ingleby Barwick Childrens Day Nursery

My baby girl is now 4 and has been attending this nursery since she was 1 and was joined by her 2-year-old brother in 2020. Although smaller than some of the larger chains, we preferred this as feel it's more personal. They both absolutely love going to nursery and have so much fun with the staff and their friends. There are lots of resources to explore and activities/themes organised every week. The girls are like a second family, give great feedback on what the children have been doing during the day and pictures posted on Tapestry. Working through the pandemic I knew my babies were being cared for in a safe, loving and fun environment. I have no hesitation whatsoever in recommending this nursery.

Both my boys attend the nursery, the nursery keeps me updated with how the boys progress and they both love going. They involve the children in activities and always have the children taking part. Fantastic nursery.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough! The staff are lovely and my son has settled in really well. He loves his key worker and friends he has made in the baby room. They are always doing different activities with the children and events every month, couldn’t be happier with the care that is given.

Wonderful nursery, my children love coming here. The staff are amazing, very attentive and build lovely relationships with the children. My kids are always happy and well-fed after a session - they especially love all the activities on offer and the themed days which are organised.

I am just preparing to send my baby and I am so confident that he will be in good, safe hands.

Fantastic friendly staff, my little boy loves to go there. Staff is working hard and organizing different activities every day. They also serve lovely, healthy and fresh homemade meals. I definitely recommend.

My son started this nursery at 1 year when I was going back to work. I was very reluctant to use nurseries and as soon as I walked into the nursery I was at ease. The staff were so friendly and caring and you could see how experienced they were by the relaxed atmosphere. There are always amazing resources for the children to learn from and new little role play stations being set up. The messy trays are great to get the children used to different textures ie sand, and drawing their names with sticks. Outdoor play and local walks have allowed my energetic son exercise. Every day my son attends I feel he will be well looked after and cared for. Posts from Tapestry showing pictures of learning are great. During the last year, I can't thank the staff enough for their commitment and care for my son. It has allowed me to still go to work as a key worker and I feel that the staff are all being as safe as possible to keep the children safe. Thank you all for the wonderful work you do.

I cannot recommend this nursery enough! They have been amazing with our little girl. She has been at the nursery since she was 9 months old and is now 3 years old. Staff are so caring and professional. My daughter absolutely loves going in on a morning. All staff take time to get to know the children and their individual needs.

A fantastic nursery and amazing staff that go above and beyond for my daughter. I have seen a massive progression in her development and in her mannerisms, I'm a very proud mum! I am so pleased I made the choice to send both my children to Ingleby Barwick Childrens Day Nursery. They are the most caring and dedicated staff I’ve came across and you can tell they absolutely love what they do. My daughter started last year and with it being quite a challenging year due to Covid they do everything they can to help you out as a parent. Couldn’t recommend them enough!

This is a lovely, welcoming nursery. The staff are friendly and caring towards the children. My son loves attending the setting, he always talks about what he has done at the end of the day. The activities are varied and planned to help the children to develop. The staff take the children’s individual interests into account when offering activities. The food offered is a big hit with my son! Overall a fab nursery!

My little girl is 4 and has been at the nursery since she was 18 months. The staff have always been great with her! At the start she didn't settle well but they where amazing and put me at ease leaving her as I knew she was in good hands. They have always made adaptations for her and helped her to grow. I would definitely recommend this nursery.

Since our first visit, we've found the staff to be very caring, always greeting the children with a warm welcome. Learning activities are great for our children's progress - thanks to the commitment of the staff. I would highly recommend this place to anyone looking for a loving, caring environment for their little ones.

Home away from home, that's what this nursery is for my daughter. She has been there since she was a-year-old, and if it was not for the staff at this nursery, she wouldn't have been a very independent child. I know I can peacefully concentrate on my career when I am at work because of the service the nursery provides. All the staff are very friendly, welcoming and understanding for someone like us, who do not have any family for that extra support, these ladies have definitely given me all the support that I have ever wanted.

My daughter has been coming since she was 12 months old and is now four. She loves coming to nursery and is always wanting to come on her days off. The staff are always happy and welcoming. Her key person is always planning activities on her interests and I have regular updates on the app. She leaves in the summer to go full-time at school and I know she will miss it.

Excellent experience. My son loves going to nursery as a result of this. Always friendly and smiley.

My son has settled in brilliantly and that is due to the amazing staff at the nursery. They know exactly how to put both my son and me at ease. My son's speech has come on a lot since starting here and his counting is brilliant, there is a real focus on learning.
