Ingleby Barwick Childrens Day Nursery

The girls at nursery are always really friendly and my son clearly has a good bond with the girls in his room. He always seems to have a good time at nursery. I do wish that we got more pictures on the app, as I do like to see what he has done. Also, I have had to throw some of his clothes in the bin due to unremovable stains etc.

Couldn't recommend the nursery enough. All of the staff are lovely and couldn't be more helpful. My girls love going and have come on leaps and bounds since they started last year. So glad we chose this nursery!

My daughter started in September 2024 and LOVES coming to see all the staff and friends. Developmentally she has come on so much, and I'm really happy with the care she receives. All the activities are age appropriate, educational and most importantly, my daughter has fun when she attends. Thank you everyone for being so kind and caring.

My little boy went before my little girl did. Best nursery. They love your children like you do. They cuddle them let them sleep and save their food for them if they are napping at meals times. Everyone is remember and everyone is so nice. Best ever!

The staff are always absolutely brilliant with my daughter and go above and beyond constantly to give her the best care possible! Staff are always there to speak to about any concerns and will always take time to speak to us and support us.

My children love it here and it's so lovely to see, and so reassuring when going to work. They do different activities each day and have nutritious meals. The staff are amazing and always go above & beyond!

My Grandson went here and my Granddaughter is currently. The Staff are really caring and friendly. They look after the children like their own. Would highly recommend them. My Granddaughter loves going.

My son started going to Ingleby Barwick Childrens Day Nursery when he was 9 months old, I can't thank the girls enough who work in the baby room along with the managment team. They have helped my son come on leaps and bounds and he loves going every week.

My daughter has started at 9 months and she has come on leaps and bounds. I couldn't thank the nursery staff enough for ensuring that all her needs are met and she is cared for. I would recommend this nursery 10 times over.

The staff are always very positive and happy and make the children feel happy to come into the nursery. My daughter struggled with separation anxiety when she first started, and they really looked after her and made her welcome. I know my child is in safe hands when she goes to nursery, always coming home after a good day and full from all the meals they provide for the children. Thank you, ladies, much appreciate your continued hard work and dedication to our children.

My son has been coming to this nursery for a year now and has settled in amazingly and is absolutely thriving. I can tell he is happy and loves his time at nursery; he gets to do all sorts of activities, and they have a great range of resources available. I get regular updates on the nursery app with photos of what activities he has been up to, what meals he's had and also naps, which is lovely for me to see whilst at work. The staff have been absolutely amazing and are a credit to the nursery. They are all genuinely so caring for the children, and my son is clearly very comfortable being in their care. It is extremely reassuring to know he is being well cared for, and I wouldn't hesitate to recommend this nursery.

I would like to commend members of baby staff and management for carrying parents along in the care of our young ones by giving regular updates on the nursery online platform. I appreciate it and would like it to continue. Thank you.

Lovely staff who genuinely care about the children. Staff always seems positive and happy to be at work. Love getting the update time to time about what my daughter is up to. The staff are very accommodating, always trying to give their best service. Love sending my daughter there.

I would highly recommend.

My son loves nursery, he is sometimes a bit wary about me leaving but as soon as the girls engage with him he is off playing, then when it is time for home I can't get him out of the place! We don't have to check in on him as we know he is safe and happy there. Love that he has been doing more baking and crafts, he comes home covered in glitter most days, would love to see more of the activities he gets up to! The garden space is an added bonus as he loves being outside, roll on summer!

So very happy with all the staff here, very friendly and excellent with the children. Personally, my daughter has blossomed here, she loves to be here! I like that she is given a hot meal for lunch and the snack tea time is perfect for us. Very helpful and accommodating.

Overall, all the staff are so welcoming and friendly, and I have total confidence that my children are well looked after and cared for whilst they are there.

My little girl joined Ingleby Barwick Day Nursery when we moved to the area a year ago. I looked at a few nurseries beforehand but this was recommended so we went for a look round. As soon as you walk in it has a lovely welcoming feel to parents and children. My daughter was at ease straight away, this was surprising as she was a little unsettled at her previous nursery. We had a little play and I left her for 1 hour, she really enjoyed herself. I knew this was going to be the one so I signed her up. Since joining, the nursery has helped my girl with lots of skills. All the staff are really friendly and approachable. I feel comfortable leaving my child here while I'm working, I know she is safe and having fun. As soon as I pick her up she is very chatty and tells me all about her day, that's how I know she is having a great time. I highly rate this nursery and would most definitely recommend it.
