Kids 1st Wynyard makes a crucial contribution to parents in Billingham and has a team of skilled and experienced professionals support and care for children from the Billingham area.

Staff strive to remain up-to-date with current Ofsted regulations while being committed to a versatile atmosphere in which children can learn and develop.

In addition to its childcare responsibilities, this Wynyard Park nursery organises a range of family events and social evenings to better communicate with community needs, while understanding and relating to any particular parental anxieties.

Brilliant nursery, my son has been attending this nursery since he was 14 months old. Since joining the nursery he has came on so much and I am so pleased of his progress. Staff are very friendly, approachable and accommodating they put everything into their jobs and the relationships they have with
both the children and family is incredible. Highly recommend this nursery.

The experiences my little girl has had at Kids 1st Wynyard are truly wonderful. When I drop her off on a morning I am filled with total confidence that she is in a safe and happy place.
The staff are so very caring and provide my daughter with fantastic learning opportunities on a daily basis. She
has a food menu that I am very jealous of and I never worry she will be given something she won't enjoy!

My daughter has attended Kids 1st Wynyard since Aug 2017 and has loved every second. She loves going to nursery and gets so excited even when we pull up in the car park. There is always plenty of activities on offer which I love to see and hear about when I collect on an evening. All staff are great
with my daughter and take the time to make us both feel welcome on a morning, I would definitely recommend this nursery!

My son has been attending Kid's 1st Wynyard for 18 months. I am so impressed with all the assistants who take care of him. He has learnt so much and been involved in lots of different activities. I was amazed when one day he counted to 10 in French!!

Our twins have attended Kids 1st Wynyard for a year now and it was the best decision we ever made. The staff, facilities, activities, safety etc are more than what you could hope for and our twins have vastly improved in confidence. The staff are incredible and they really care for every child that
attends and ensures they have the best time while there.

Kids 1st Wynyard is an exceptional nursery which I would highly recommend. My daughter attended this nursery from 14 months, and was mainly in the Seahorse 1 room. Every week my daughter would skip into nursery, to be greeted with open arms by an amazing team. She was able to build special relationships
with the lovely ladies who work there and made so many friends. This nursery has helped shape my little lady into the fun, confident and social child that she is. I always enjoyed drop offs/pick ups and chatting with the nursery staff. There was always a welcoming and friendly atmosphere.

Both of my children have been in Kids 1st - my eldest 'graduated' last year having been right through from the baby room, and my youngest son is there now in the second room. We don't actually 'need' to put our children in daycare as we have plenty of support with retired grandparents living locally,
however this nursery came recommended to us by a neighbor who had seen the difference in their grandchildren (one set who attended this nursery, and one set who didn't) and we've found (as they did) that our children have developed social skills which have really helped them, and the level of care and support they receive at this particular nursery has surpassed my every expectation. I couldn't recommend the nursery nor it's staff any more highly - I feel like my child is safe, secure and really developing as a person under their expert care. I know the fees are a little higher than you'd pay some other places, but that is more than worth it for the care they receive.

My daughter has been attending Kids 1st Wynyard nursery since July 2017. Every morning she is greeted with kind words and a welcoming feeling. My daughter walks into nursery happy and excited to see the staff and her friends. As a parent, I feel happy when leaving her as she is never unsettled and runs
to her key worker and other familiar staff. Overall, this nursery is fantastic as I see a difference every day in my daughter's development.

I have recently returned to work after maternity leave and the staff at Kids 1st Wynyard have made a difficult transition easier and enjoyable. My daughter has only attended for four weeks so far, however, I am very pleased and she is already starting to learn new things and warm to the staff members.
I would definitely be recommending this nursery.

My Son goes to Kids 1st Wynyard for the past year. They made it very easy for us when we first joined, we are very happy with his development.
Staff are very helpful, they give us daily updates. Review his personal file every 6 months.

I cannot speak highly enough of Kids 1st Nursery in Wynyard. My son started in May and thanks to the girls in Starfish 2 we have both settled into our new routine - great. They cannot do enough for my son and I would not think twice to recommend them!
My son has come on amazing in the 2 months he
has been going, getting involved in so many different activities, I cannot wait to see what's to come!

After viewing many other nurseries, Kids 1st stood out as by far the best and made me feel completely at ease about going back to work. My daughter immediately bonded with the staff who were great with her, she has developed in so many ways since joining and looks forward to going into nursery. The
daily diaries keep you well informed for daily handovers and the regular parents evenings keep you up to date with day to day progress, recommendations for advancing this and lots of photographs from the wide range of activities they get involved in. Overall I have been very happy with the first year.

My eldest attended this nursery for over 2 years but my youngest started much younger at 9 months old. Although I was very happy with my past experience, I was very anxious about my baby starting but the staff couldn't have been more caring or experienced in handling my baby and me! After only three
months, my baby goes immediately to the staff in the baby room and even waves me off (something my eldest never did). I sometimes watch through the window before I go in and I see her delight at exploring, the genuine care from the staff and a happy baby. I have now seen this nursery at all levels/ages and everything from food to the toys/experiences offered is very good. The dedication is obvious and the fact the staff recall, welcome and ask about my eldest shows their interest and how personal the service is.

Amazing nursery with fabulous staff. Always a warm welcome. My little boy has come on loads since starting this nursery and there's always lots going on to be involved in. The staff always fill in the daily diary of the happenings of the day and we are always well informed about what the group have

My son started nursery around 3 months ago. Since the first time I viewed the nursery all the staff I came into contact with were very welcoming. The nursery itself has a lovely feel to it from the minute you walk in the door.
My little boy had a bit of a struggle with settling in which made it quite
hard for both me and him. But the staff were all so kind and caring about it and made it so much easier for us both. He now loves going to nursery and loves to tell everyone about his friends and the staff "the girls" as he likes to call them.

My son started at Kids 1st Wynyard when he was 22 months old - a difficult time to start nursery - due to a change in our circumstances. From initial contact, all the way to the present day, every member of staff has been friendly and accommodating. They have helped my son settle into being away from
family and made it an easy transition. He has grown his social skills and is learning all the time.

I feel Kids 1st has helped me enormously whilst settling my child. One member of staff has helped me to feel at ease about leaving her. I believe she has gone above and beyond her job role. Everybody is friendly and I would definitely recommend.

Megan

Megan Goodman

Job Title: Centre Director Joined: 2009

Hello, I am Megan and I hold a Level 3 CACHE Diploma qualification in Childcare & Education, which I earned in June 2009. My journey with Kids 1st Wynyard began in October the same year as a nursery assistant and over the past fourteen+ years, I have progressed through various roles and I am now proud to be the Centre Director.

I am deeply passionate about working with children and am dedicated to helping nurture them in their formative stages, giving them a solid foundation for their future. We work closely with parents to help meet their child's needs and am both saddened and delighted when they formally "graduate" and move on to mainstream education.

Over the years I have pro-actively participated in organising numerous fundraising activities and I am currently Wynyard's designated Charity Champion. I am proud to say that we have raised tens of thousands of pounds in support of the local community.

In my social life enjoy spending quality time with my family and friends, going for walks, and more recently have developed an interest in nature photography.
