Every single member of staff was so lovely they always had time for you despite being so busy with the children. They were all so warm and caring. My son loves it here. The management was approachable and present in the same way all the staff were. We recommend this place highly to anyone who asks.
My son has been attending Playdays since he was 11 months old - he is now 2 years old. The staff are very friendly and always listen to any requests I have had. They hand over every day the activities my son has been doing and it is always a jam-packed day. Attending Playdays has been really good for his development including social skills and speech.
My son went here for 6 months in which I could observe the quality of their care. I can honestly say it’s a low level of care, staff are very nice when they see you as a parent, but they’ll do what they want once you leave. I constantly found my son dirty even if he had spare clothes, I used to pick him up covered in food on his clothes, face, they cleaned his nose only if you told them. My husband picked him up and he had a dirty nappy with dried poo on his skin and which leaked on his clothes, they sent my son home winter time with no jacket because they didn’t know which is his. Making it short, the place is too small for the number of children, the standard of care is very low and the staff very unprofessional. They weren’t sure some days if my child ate something.
My experience with Playdays Nursery has been nothing short of excellent. The staff are very caring and dedicated. Learning and activities are meticulously planned. The premises are well maintained. I would highly recommend this nursery to friends and family.
Lovely, friendly nursery where staff make the children and parents feel relaxed and comfortable. All staff professional and approachable and wonderfully flexible for busy working parents. Great opening hours. Very happy with the placement and would recommend to others.
My daughter has attended Playdays Day Nursery for the past three years. I cannot thank the staff enough as they have helped my daughter (who is very shy) to settle in and brought her on leaps and bounds. The staff are always approachable, helpful, dedicated and always there when needed. My daughter has loved attending Playdays and I would highly recommend.
Words cannot describe how grateful I am for the care my child was given during her 2 years at Playdays Day Nursery in the Stepping Stones and Little Learners rooms. She really looked forward to going everyday and thrived during her time there. Staff were always caring, professional, accommodating and approachable and we got to know them very well. Would highly recommend!
The nursery staff are very friendly and experienced, very helpful if urgent care is needed. My kid did enjoy going there.
Both of my children have attended the nursery and I cannot praise it highly enough. The staff are all excellent - friendly, caring and approachable. My kids loved going to nursery - there’s no better praise than that for me!!!!
My son has just left the nursery and it has been a wonderful few years for our family. Huge thanks to all the staff.
My daughter has loved her time at Playdays. As she was a quiet and shy child I did worry about her attending nursery initially, but she has come on leaps and bounds and her confidence has massively improved. The staff are brilliant, really helpful and reassuring, and she really loved them.
Both my children have attended play days over the last 10 years. The staff are great. Very friendly. It is flexible for changing the dates your child is in, which is great if working shifts.
I have used this nursery for both of my children. They have both thrived in the environment due to the commitment and hard work of the staff. They care deeply about the children's well-being and both my children built up great bonds with the staff whilst there. My youngest son is about to leave for reception class in September and the nursery staff have prepared him well for his transition. They do many activities throughout the year including singing carols in the hospital at Christmas and various topics to learn which are appropriate to the time of year. My youngest son has been learning French since the age of three (as an extra class) and they also do yoga with the children which he loves. They serve a great variety of healthy food for the children and teach them about food groups and being healthy. They also have an abundance of toys, books, building material and crafts to use. Playdays is a fantastic nursery which we will be sad to leave and I would recommend it to anyone.
My daughter has just turned 3 and enjoys nursery very much, however, dropping off on a morning can be emotional for her. The staff in 'Stepping Stones Room' are very supportive and understanding and make sure she is comforted with cuddles until she settles which is reassuring for me. We are aiming to stop using the dummy so staff are helpful in trying her without it for naps and reporting back to me how she got on. It's great how they encourage the children to play outside whenever they can and are teaching my daughter independence and basic lessons for life. She has so much variety to her day and this nursery fulfils all her needs.
I couldn't as for any more than how they looked after him he had so much fun, thank you!
This nursery offered excellent care to my son and all of the staff were very caring and supportive of his needs. The meals provided were nutritious and activities were designed to encourage his development. This is a highly recommendable nursery with the most caring people I have ever come across!
My daughter started in Playdays when she was only 6 months old. I always felt very reassured that she was well and lovingly looked after even though she was so little and was not even completely weaned when she started. Everyone was very caring and lovely to us and obviously competent but with a down-to-earth approach that was just right! My little girl clearly enjoyed being in Playdays and it helped her development along so much! There was lots of painting, sand games and other creative activities and we even got some self-made art for Christmas from her! Not only did my daughter enjoy the nursery, they were also extremely flexible with my ever changing needs and never let me down even if I got dates wrong, was late for breakfast or had (so many) other issues! The nursery is on the hospital grounds which is very convenient for staff and has very good opening times. I am very grateful to the Playdays nursery and would recommend them unreservedly.
My son attended Playdays Day Nursery for over 2 years and he was very sad to leave. I was very happy with the care he received from day one and he has become a very happy, confident and sociable 4-year-old in part thanks to the girls at Playdays Day Nursery. The hours available are fantastic and the nursery's flexibility was brilliant for my shift work. I would recommend Playdays Day Nursery to anyone and will be issuing again with my second child when the time comes.
Both of my children have attended Playdays Day Nursery and I have found the environment, care and staff excellent at all times. I have had experience of two other day nurseries and this has been the best by far in terms of facilities, flexibility and overall support for both the children and myself.
The nursery has several rooms which cater for different age ranges, each with a decor and large variety of toys appropriate for the children using them.
My little boy has attended Playdays since he was 9 months old and is now 3. We have been happy with the care he has had since day one. The staff are all fantastic and really welcoming and my little one goes in to nursery every day with a smile. Lots of fun and learning and I have loved watching his confidence grow as he moved through the rooms.
