My daughter has been attending Acklam Day Nursery now for almost eight months. After visiting a number of nurseries we felt that Acklam was the most welcoming, friendly and fun. All of the staff are fantastic, they have created a fun learning environment and as a father, I feel confident she is in a
safe, fun, happy place. While being in nursery her development has come on leaps and bounds which you can see in other children who attend regularly.
Dealing with the manager and all staff about fees, payment, booking time or advice is a pleasure. They are always helpful and will go out of their way to assist you.
The children in this nursery are not a number, the staff genuinely care and I couldn't recommend it enough.

My little boy is in the baby room and loves coming to nursery. Nothing is ever too much trouble for staff and they always take time to talk to you, you never feel like you are just pushed out on a morning or evening. Makes parents feel so at ease. He always has lovely meals and does fantastic activities.
All staff are friendly, welcoming and all look so happy each day. 5 stars from us.

My daughter absolutely loves Acklam Day nursery. She went to another nursery and hated it. She has just been diagnosed with autism and the staff have all been so understanding and more time to listen to my thoughts and fears. She has come on so much since she has been here. I would recommend this nursery
to all my friends.

My child had only been going to Acklam Road Day Nursery for a short time but every time he gets collected he has a great time. The staff are awesome and do a great job.

Both of my children have attended Acklam Day Nursery, it is a wonderful setting, the staff are always friendly and informative when passing on information about my child’s day. My little boy has a great time, he is always doing exciting activities that allow him to learn through his play.


The Nursery

use a fabulous system called Tapestry which allows me to see photos of his daily activities and provides me with an insight to his learning and his development stages within the Early Years Development Matters. I am really happy with his development.


The Nursery have their own cook and provide daily snacks and a varied lunch menu which my little boy really enjoys.


The Nursery has a lovely outdoor space which the children access on a daily basis. The Nursery staff are a great team who strive to make the Nursery Enviroment a safe, welcoming and fun place to be.

All my children go to Acklam day, they love it and the staff are lovely. I'm always made to feel welcome and any questions are answered. It has a high standard of hygiene but most of all my children always come out laughing. I'm really impressed with all the staff's attitude to work nothing is ever
"too much trouble" for them. Great work girls keep it up!

My son has down syndrome. Since starting the nursery last summer it’s brought him on tremendously. He settled in with no bother at all, the staff are smashing with him he’s always happy and smiling when I drop him off and collect him. He loves going. The new manager has been great to introduce some
training in Makaton for all the staff as me and my son use this form of communication at home too.
I would recommend this nursery 100%.

My experience at the nursery was extremely pleasant. The staff were welcoming from the get-go. It was a friendly atmosphere for both me and my son. The interior was bright and colourful, aesthetically pleasing for the children with an array of toys and equipment to add to a child’s learning. My child
felt at home and able to mix with other kids straight away. Very clean and hygienic environment. And the staff are helpful and flexible with my work schedule. Would recommend and happy for my son to begin his education.

Our son can’t wait to go to nursery. Every day he starts and finishes in a great mood, his development is continually showing and we couldn’t be happier with the progress he is making. The nursery is fantastic, flexible and caring. We have no complaints and are reassured by the progress our son is making,
how he seems so happy and settled and full of life. He has made friends already and comes home chattering about his daily exploits. We are kept informed about any issues and are encouraged to share our son's experiences at home with the nursery team. Great nursery.

My daughter, who has special needs, has been attending the Acklam Road Day Nursery for nearly 2 years, and I have found the appointed one to one staff member, the general staff and management here to be extremely supportive, caring and inclusive.
The new manager has been especially understanding of
my daughter's challenges and has been forward-thinking about what she needs when she attends 3 days a week, in order for her to enjoy the time she spends there to the maximum.

My son has continued to be cared for to an exceptional standard by all the staff at Acklam Day Nursery. He really enjoys his days there and asks to see the girls when he's at home.
All the staff always greet you with a warm and welcoming smile, when I drop and pick him up. When the previous manager
left and the new manager started, he warmed to her straight away, which he doesn't do often. The manageress has helped me out immensely whilst I was starting up my new business, she helped me work out days which would be suitable for him. She was very understanding when I was grieving for my mam, who I lost last year. She was excellent with him and I have seen him advance a great amount over the last 6 months... fantastic work, keep it up, you are all fab. Overall, a brilliantly run nursery, which I recommend to whoever I can.

Since my daughter has started here she has blossomed in herself. The staff are lovely and all information you would ever need is all provided. The staff make it a lovely place to be. You feel welcome and they are friendly and my child adores them all. I would strongly recommend Acklam Day Nursery.

Fantastic nursery with fantastic staff. Always accommodate your requests and really make you feel valued. The staff are great with the kids. My daughter has been going since 2007 and I've never had a negative experience.

Since my daughter has started nursery she has become very happy and confident little girl. I would recommend this nursery to all my friends who need childcare. The staff members are very friendly and welcoming. If I ever have a problem or any questions, the staff are more then happy to help.

My son has been here since 1 yr old.
The staff are very friendly, helpful, and informative.
He has loved going there, and still goes there now he goes for breakfast club and after school and through the holidays.
The girls there are amazing. My son tells me the fun things he does which are educational
too.
He's a very fussy eater and they help him and cater for his needs.

My son has attended Acklam Road Day Nursery since he was 6 months old he was very attached to myself and his dad. The staff here made me feel that he was in safe hands always there to greet u with a smile and hello ... Even at the end of the day when everyone is ready for home they are so happy and
welcoming my son has fitted in extremely well and truly enjoys going to this nursery .. the staff have helped him crawl walk learn nursery rhymes and how to fed himself it has given him the independence he needs grow into a happy toddler. I am overwhelmed with the help and support my son receives whilst at Acklam Road Day Nursery I will be and have already been recommending this nursery to people.
