Acklam Children's Day Nursery

Absolutely wonderful nursery and lovely staff. So glad I chose to send my little one here! They are highly flexible and can't do enough for you, I will be keeping my son here for the foreseeable future so it's comforting to know he's in such safe, caring and professional hands.

I have had 2 children in Acklam Nursery now. The staff are amazing with the kids and always so helpful to accommodate around hospital appts etc. My son is very happy in his class and we are happy to send him. He learned a lot in the year he has been there. 10/10.

A lovely nursery, after my daughter's old school, was unable to take my daughter this year Acklam Day Nursery was. Since joining the school my daughter has been speaking much better, using please and thank you and even counting to 15, at 3 is very good. Just wished I had sent her here from the moment I returned to work. Looking forward to seeing her develop further with their help.

She always enjoys her outdoor playtime and painting.

My daughter started in January and they have built a wonderful relationship with myself and my daughter. She has settled lovely. Lovely home-cooked food, every member of staff is friendly. I would definitely recommend this nursery to friends and family.

The nursery is very nice. The staff is great with my kids. Sessions are flexible so it suits our needs. My kids settled into the nursery quite easily and they like going there. They run a holiday club during half-term and also do school runs.

Our daughter attends the baby room. She loves going and is always happy to see the staff there. She enjoys the food at the nursery and is well-fed. Although it would be nice to see more of what they get up to on the app. Management is always flexible with nursery days due to work commitments, which is a great help. The nursery itself is one of the best we’ve seen, which is one of the reasons why we chose Acklam. The minute we stepped inside everyone was so nice and helpful.

Acklam Day Nursery is one of the best nurseries in the area, if not the best. The staff are just so caring, supportive and enthusiastic about my child's needs. They have always gone above and beyond for my children. My little girl attended here before my little boy. My little girl blossomed here, and my little boy runs into the nursery with such happiness. Their educational, emotional, and nutritional needs are always met to such a high standard as well as having lots of fun. Honestly, I cant recommend this nursery enough. It's definitely a 5-star place.

I send both of my children to this nursery (4 and 2 years old) and feel that it has really helped them develop mentally and in confidence. The staff are always helpful and answer whatever questions I have in relation to the kids and general questions about term dates and entitlement to free hours. I couldn't recommend this nursery enough.

We're fortunate enough to get our son enrolled at Acklam Children's Day Nursery. He has separation anxiety but he has settled well in three days and he's extremely enthusiastic. The management and staff are excellent in their service and attitude. They contribute very well to enhance the wholistic development of our kid. Being working parents, they support us with every aspect of child care. The premises are maintained very well with proper hygiene as well as safety is assured! Thank you, team Acklam!

Our son absolutely adores the nursery. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and have been incredibly supportive with potty training, his language development, as well as personally to us. Our son is a confident, chatty young man because of the nurture and encouragement everyone at Acklam Nursery gives him and we are so thankful to the staff who work here for all the love they show him!

The nursery is very clean the staff are polite and lovely couldn't ask for better staff, my son loves the nursery and spending time at the nursery it's an excellent nursery and they look after my son really well I think it's an excellent nursery.

My little boy attended the nursery and loved it, he started doing a few sessions to get him ready for school to mix with other children and get him used to being away from me. The staff were absolutely amazing and helped him grow in confidence and he became a little more independent. He loved all the staff and they became like family to us. It helped him so much to prepare him for starting school I can not thank the staff enough.

My daughter attends Acklam Day Nursery and I cannot recommend it enough. The staff are absolutely amazing. Every morning we are greeted with a smile! She enjoys going to the nursery and participating in all the wonderful activities the staff put on for the children. When I pick her up she tells me how delicious the food is that she’s had for lunch, they always ensure the children have a healthy lunchtime meal! She enjoys playing outside as they have a wide range of play equipment and even have a mini forest for the kids to explore. I will be really sad when my daughter has to leave Acklam Nursery to go to reception. She has a fantastic relationship with all the staff here.

My little boy has gone to Acklam Day Nursery for nearly 2 years and we’ve had a great experience. He runs in happy to see all the staff and learns new things every day. Staff communicate well with any issues that might come up and come up with a plan with parents to address any issues.

Hand on heart could not recommend this nursery more. Nursery is the place that shapes a baby/toddler so as a parent you want the best for them. Acklam Nursery put their heart and soul into the children and it shows! My child has been going here since she was 8 months old and she has thrived! This is my child's last year before school and I have already shed a tear at the thought of her leaving, they are like a family to her!
