Kids Planet Ashbrooke

The nursery has such a lovely, homely feel and such warm and welcoming staff. Due to Covid, it was a worrying time to start my daughter in nursery but we could not have felt more supported which really put my mind at ease. My daughter has been attending for 6 months now and she is always happy and excited to leave the house for nursery. I’m kept up to date with the activities she has taken part in and the photo updates and write-ups on the online learning journal are lovely to see. I never have any worries when she is there, I know she is in brilliant hands and has made lovely bonds with the girls and have been able to see her develop and become more confident since she has started.

Brilliant staff and general atmosphere; the holistic approach to nursery care was fantastic for my children. The staff team knew them very well and always made me and my husband very relaxed and confident knowing that my girls were being well cared for. The staff are very caring and recognise easily how best to promote learning experiences for the children.

My little girl started this Nursery in Jan 2021 after leaving a nursery we weren’t too happy with. All I can say is Ashbrooke Nursery have been fantastic! My little girl is settled and happy when she enters and leaves nursery. The staff are so welcoming and easy to speak to and the activities the children do are fabulous. My little girl enjoys the food too!

Lovely nursery, the staff are welcoming and excellent with the children’s needs and follow the children’s interests with exciting and engaging activities. My daughter has been well looked after and assisted in her potty training well. She has also been able to form excellent bonds with the staff which is testament to the staff's nurturing ways.

The staff welcomed our child into the nursery last year. She was very nervous and upset at first but that changed quickly and she even got upset on a day when she wasn’t going to nursery! We get lovely updates on her progress on the app and all of the staff are always willing to talk to us and offer advice etc. I feel happy knowing that she is in safe hands in this nursery.

My 5-month-old started nursery this month having been for several ‘settling in’ sessions since November. I was concerned that as he has had very little interaction with anyone other than immediate family since being born he would struggle to settle in but the staff have been amazing in doing everything possible to make sure this wasn’t the case. He has settled in really well and I am completely at ease knowing he is happy there. The online learning journal site is fantastic for keeping us up to date. The nursery really has a home from home feel and I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend. I really cannot fault the nursery at all and feel confident that they will adapt to meet my son's needs as he gets older based upon the different rooms they have for different age ranges. We are very happy we have chosen the nursery.

The nursery has a lovely, cosy atmosphere. Very homelike. Small groups. Lots of different activities and spaces for children to explore. Staff very welcoming and warm. My son really enjoys his time here.

The staff are absolutely wonderful. Being a first-time mam and in this crazy time with Covid-19 I was so anxious about leaving my daughter and how she would be with others. The girls are amazing and helped both me and my daughter settle into a new routine. She absolutely loves it and has developed so much in the short space of time that she has been there. I look forward to hearing her daily updates of all the fun she has had at the nursery and seeing the lovely photos that they capture.

We were made very welcome upon our look around by all staff including the Manager. Our 13 month year old took to the staff straight away and when we were shown around it was clear to see that the focus was to keep the children entertained. The inside and outside areas look fab and I’m sure in the months and years to come out little one will blossom in this nursery.

My child recently moved to Ashbrooke Day Nursery from a larger nursery and I want to thank the staff for how welcoming and accommodating they have been (during a challenging time too!) He has settled in as if he has known the team and space before! The environment is exciting but also very warm and homely. So much created with a small space! Would highly recommend a visit to any parent considering this nursery. Thank you Ashbrooke :)

Would recommend to anyone.

My little girl has a fantastic time at nursery. She was very clingy so I was really worried about her starting but all members of staff are lovely, without exception, and she has settled well. The manager told me to do as many settling in sessions as needed and the girls were fantastic at each one, not once did they push me to leave and the result is a happy, settled little girl who loves going. I'm so pleased we found this place!

The staff are fantastic, they know the kids well and are always helpful. My son loves nursery days, it's a job to get him to leave sometimes.
