Kids Planet Westerhope welcomes children from birth to five years, all of whom experience a mixture and planned and spontaneous activities and play that are ideal for their age group. The aim is to start children off on the path to life-long learning, making a positive start that will support them well in full-time education.

Staff look to respect children as developing individuals, within a secure environment where healthy eating is also a priority. Carers look to build up strong links with parents in order to understand any specific needs or preferences.

My little boy has been attending the nursery since he was 1 year old. He loves to see all of the staff and his friends.
He has progressed really well throughout his time at Westerhope.
The team are there when your little ones aren’t feeling themselves.
Lots of great activities for them to enjoy.

My daughter has attended the nursery for 8 months now and absolutely loves it. She gets genuinely excited in the morning when I tell her she is going to nursery. Staff are lovely and being there has really helped with her development as she learns so much.

Me and my husband could not recommend Kids Planet Westerhope enough.
Our son absolutely loves his days here.
Some mornings he does have a little cry but with no fuss one of the nursery workers will take him and settle him down.
We have known a lot of the staff here for a while as our eldest daughter
also came to this nursery.
All staff members are lovely and welcoming and it has such a good atmosphere. We would highly recommend it to other parents who are looking for a reliable and friendly setting for their children.

From the moment we enrolled our little boy, we knew we made the right choice. The staff here are exceptional, kind, attentive, and genuinely invested in each child's well-being and development.
Our son absolutely adores going to nursery, and it's evident that he thrives in this nurturing environment.
The staff's caring nature has played a significant role in his brilliant development. It's heartwarming to see how they engage with him, fostering his curiosity and encouraging his growth every step of the way.
We drop him off knowing he's in capable hands, and every pick-up is greeted with stories of his adventures and achievements. When I have a tough day at work I click onto the app to see how great my little boy's day has been.
We're incredibly grateful to all of the staff for their unwavering support and commitment to our son's happiness and development.

My child has just started. The amazing, patience and calm that the educators have is astounding and have really helped settle my mind.
The communication system that is used is very hands-on and keeps us up to date with everything that has happened throughout the day.

My little boy has been attending the Kids Planet Nursery for more than a year now. He is always excited to go in the morning and he has a huge smile on his face every time he sees one of the staff. All the staff are lovely and very supportive. With having no other kids in our household or in the social
circle, we were a bit anxious about him being able to share or socialise with other kids, but he is doing great. He is learning so many things and they do so many different activities during the time there. We feel good with our choice of nursery.

Fab staff lovely and friendly, and my two children feel comfortable and enjoy going to the nursery. One child is very clever and learns so much. She loves dancing and learning and meeting her best friends. She likes to sing and sings songs constantly out of the nursery too. The garden is lovely for

Kids Planet Westerhope have been amazing with my daughter since she was nine months old. They go above and beyond and are always there to help. The bonds they have formed with my little girl have helped her settle, she dances into nursery now without a second glance! Cannot say enough good things!

My child has been attending this nursery for a year now and has loved every minute of it and still does. She has been brought on by the staff in so many ways! They have not only taught her a lot they always have time for her and show her affection when needed! She is becoming a very clever little girl

My child is thriving at Kids Planet Westerhope! He enjoys every minute, he’s always so keen to get in and always happy while there. The nursery is lovely with warm, welcoming rooms and has a brilliant outdoor area for the children to explore. My child’s communication skills have come on amazingly since
attending nursery and I get regular observations which show and tell me what he’s been doing and how he’s progressing. The staff are all very professional but lovely with a warm friendly and caring manner, especially with the children. I feel so confident in my child being safe here and well cared for and have already recommended this nursery to friends looking for childcare. The food is great, the activities set are great, and the facilities are all great, and it has really good communication with parents/carers both verbally and online etc. I can’t actually fault anything.

This is a really good nursery my child has come on so well. The staff were all lovely and very helpful.
There was a wide range of food for snacks and for their lunches, just very expensive but my child loved the food and the snacks

Could not recommend Westerhope Village Nursery enough! My daughter loved her time there, although it was short as we are relocating. If I could pick the nursery and team up and take them with us I would!

I'm so glad I found this nursery. Right from the start, from viewing the nursery in the middle of the pandemic and all through it. Staff are very friendly and my daughter (aged 4) loves them all. They are caring and compassionate and really make the children feel happy and safe. Always happy to help
with anything you need. My daughter goes 3 days a week and is always asking what day it is so she can go back to the nursery, as she just loves it there. She is continually learning new things and they encourage the children to learn. Would definitely recommend and the manager is lovely and very friendly and helpful.

I love the nursery and more importantly, my daughter loves the nursery. The food always sounds amazing and the nursery’s cleanliness is of a very high standard. My daughter always comes home smiling and she’s learning lots of new things, for example, colours and numbers.

Westerhope village nursery is just fantastic. The staff are very warm and friendly. The building is inviting, clean and spacious for the kids. The classrooms are colourful and the staff are more than accommodating. The variety of food the children are served is really encouraging for them to try different
foods. My boy comes out happy and smiling every day. The children have lots of outdoor play and the staff are really hands on with encouragement and praise. As a parent, I feel I am well informed about what my child has been up to on a daily basis. Highly recommend this five-star service.

Lisa Hutchinson

Job Title: Nursery Manager

Lisa Hutchinson is the nursery manager at Westerhope.
She began at Kids Planet Westerhope as a nursery nurse before moving onto the Senior role and then Deputy Manager. Lisa loves being involved with childcare and being part of the first stages of a child’s life in helping them develop and grow, ensuring they receive the best care to allow them the best possible start in life.
