The Jesmond Nursery

I will be sad when my little one leaves here to head off to school as he has thrived under their care. I highly recommend this nursery to anyone who is looking for a place that will nurture a child's individualism and interests.

Our son has been attending Jesmond Nursery for nearly two years, and I cannot recommend it highly enough. The staff are wonderful and go above and beyond to ensure the children are safe and happy. We are particularly grateful for the excellent care and attention the nursery takes with regards to our son's very severe food allergies (anaphylaxis), with strict controls in place and a very kind cook who ensures that he always has safe food to eat and never misses out on treats! Thank you all.

My daughter started at Jesmond Nursery when she was only five and a half months old. I looked at eight other nurseries before I decided to send her to Jesmond, and really liked their approach, and the feeling I got when I was there. She is now three and a half and loves going. I have been so pleased with the standard of care they provided and how well my daughter is developing. The communication with staff is also excellent and very prompt. I am due another baby soon, and he will be going there too.

Soon as I visited this nursery, I knew this was the one for my son. There was such a warm family atmosphere throughout the building full of staff that clearly love their job and genuinely love and care for the children. Nothing is too much of an ask. Jesmond Nursery will go above and beyond to try to solve any question or problem you may have. My son has attended since he was 5-months-old and now almost two. He’s created amazing bonds with staff, and his development is exceeding. I highly recommend this nursery!

If you are considering this nursery, definitely pay it a visit, as you will see what I have described as soon as you walk in the door.

Jesmond Nursery is a warm, welcoming home away from home for children, we have been so happy with the safe and outstanding care that our little boy has received over the last 2 1/2 years that he has been going. The staff all know the children inside out, our little boy has been nurtured by staff from day 1 and is now a confident happy boy with lots of friends who love going to nursery.

Lovely nursery, staff remember all the children, they follow the children's interests and cater for my children's multilingual development needs. The nursery is multicultural and diverse in its approach. My children LOVE to spent time there and I don't feel guilty for leaving them at nursery as it feels like a second home.
