The Jesmond Nursery

Fantastic nursery full of brilliant staff and facilities. I've had one child go through from start to graduation and have been thoroughly impressed. My second is now at nursery and is loving his time there too. I have complete peace of mind. Highly recommend it!

My son has grown up at the nursery right from caterpillars and now is a dinosaur preparing for school next year! I cannot compliment this nursery enough. My son is happy, confident and has learnt so much through staff guidance and taking an active interest in his development. The food is great, with the staff member in the kitchen tailoring amazingly to my son's needs as a vegetarian. Nothing is ever too much trouble for these ladies! I have also been so impressed with their festival weeks and encouragement of parent involvement in all stages. Thanks for all you do - you are all fantastic!

I am extremely happy with Jesmond nursery, the staff are so amazing with my son. They have gone out of their way and helped him settle in to nursery so quickly and he always enjoys it so much. They are very helpful with any medical needs and always keep me updated with what he is doing during his sessions and they let me know about key developments he is making as well.

My child has been at this nursery since he was 6 months old. All the staff have looked after him in such a caring and considerate way. My child has and continues to flourish in a fantastic nursery environment and the staff are amazing.

The nursery has been fantastic, always supportive and willing to help. Not only do they help your child with transitioning into different groups but also help with the next stage in your child's life, ie stopping the dummy, giving advice on speech, toilet training etc.

I have always been very impressed with Jesmond Nursery. The staff are incredibly welcoming and genuinely take an active interest in the development of each child. Our twins have had a wonderful time so far and the environment, group sizes and different learning activities each week have certainly helped develop their speech, language and social skills well beyond what I would have expected. The communication with parents is particularly excellent and the nursery has coped very well to adapt to difficult times. In addition, the opening hours are more convenient for parents who may have to work longer hours during the day which we have found very beneficial. Overall, I would highly recommend Jesmond Nursery.

I cannot recommend Jesmond Nursery highly enough. My son attends 3 days a week and since joining, almost a year ago, his speech and confidence have grown significantly. He has created real bonds with the carers, who are so caring, kind and empathetic. The variety of activities that they are able to enjoy are second to none. It is a nurturing and welcoming environment that I am certain all children would thrive in.

Our daughter is so happy at the Jesmond Nursery, she has a great group of friends and she loves the staff. We travel outside of the local area to use the nursery, passing many other nurseries en route. The nursery was recommended to us and I am so pleased we took the advice. The staff and facilities are excellent, nothing is ever a problem and we would not hesitate to recommend the nursery to others, in fact, we actively do on a regular basis.

My son joined Jesmond Nursery in April 2022 in the first room, Butterflies. He has settled amazingly well despite being quite sensitive. The staff in that room are amazing. The staff have been so caring towards him and really approachable and interested in our views etc. In fact, all staff we have met and interacted with have been lovely. They are friendly, caring and engaged with the development of the children. The communication between nursery and home is particularly special. Daily updates are given as to the children's activities as well as what the children have eaten at meal times, nap times and changing times. For a nervous Mum, this has been so reassuring. I cannot give any higher praise to the nursery. If you are considering this nursery then I would strongly encourage you to apply for a place.

I am delighted with Jesmond Nursery and how the staff have cared for my son. The environment is outstanding and gives children the opportunity to interact, play and learn. I couldn't recommend it enough to prospective parents.

My child is extremely happy at nursery and has been since day one. The staff are friendly and take excellent care of the children's individual needs. My son couldn't be any happier and I know he is in safe hands.

My son has attended Jesmond Nursery since he was 7 months old, gradually increasing from 1 to 3 days a week. We couldn't be happier with the care he receives, from the first settling in session he was comfortable with the staff and has developed a lovely relationship with his key worker. There are different activities daily to stimulate and develop the children and the updates on the app are always great. There is also a real focus on the learning journey of the children.

Upon first meeting the wonderful staff at Jesmond Nursery, I felt comfortable leaving my daughter at 11 months. In her first six months at the Nursery her confidence, social skills and speech have come on considerably. The communication from the Nursery is fantastic - I always know what my daughter has been up to (an incredible range of activities!) and what she has eaten throughout the day. The staff are so welcoming and my daughter is excited to start and finish each day at Nursery. Thank you to the fantastic team at Jesmond Nursery!

My son has been at Jesmond Nursery for a year and he really enjoys it, feeling entirely comfortable in his surroundings everyday. His development has been fantastic which the nursery and staff have been a huge part of. The staff are knowledgeable and approachable, giving me complete confidence that my son is in good hands. Jesmond is fantastic, both our kids love attending and always have fun-filled and active days. The staff are amazing, always helpful and engaged with the children. Both of our little ones developed strong bonds with the staff who looked after them at every stage in their progression through the nursery. Would highly recommend it.

We always feel that our little girl is safe and happy and the communication from the nursery exceeds expectations. A fantastic place, with an even lovelier group of people running the day to day.

I have been very impressed by the care that my son receives whilst at nursery. I feel very happy leaving him there in the mornings, knowing how well he is going to be looked after. He also seems to love being there and thrives in the environment that is created.

Beautiful building with an amazing team behind it. The group of girls made it easy for me to return to work after maternity, knowing my son was in safe and exceptional hands. I have the utmost confidence in every single member of staff!

My daughter has been at the nursery for two years now. She started as a shy girl clinging to my leg and now runs in without giving me a second glance! She has excelled more than I ever imagined and loves every second of being there. She has made wonderful friends and is clearly highly cared for by the excellent and attentive staff on site. The range of activities is brilliant and the food is of an extreme high quality, she eats like a queen! The family feel of this nursery is what I was sold on, as the parents are just as much cared about as the children. It will be a sad day when my daughter has to say her goodbyes. I wish she could stay throughout her teens and beyond!

The confidence and empathy that the key worker showed towards myself and my child during the induction period put us completely at ease knowing our child would be in a happy and safe environment. On the first day, our child settled so well and seemed very happy to want to stay longer at pick up after enjoying the day.
