My little boy started preschool in September 2021. I was always so worried about him starting but the nursery staff put me at ease straight away as they are so friendly and welcoming. My little boy loves his time there and is learning so much from it. The staff and facilities are amazing. Definitely deserves 5 stars!

Our son has been attending Tiddlywinks since he was 12 months old and will soon be leaving to go to school. He is almost always excited to go to preschool (apart from a few times after extended illnesses) and has made many good friends there. He enjoys interacting with all of the staff and the many activities they do together. I have not had the opportunity to sample the food yet but the menus are varied and our son enjoys it. Most of the parents and children live locally and we have got to know many of them through numerous children's parties we have been invited to. Altogether Tiddlywinks is an excellent nursery with friendly staff.

My daughter has always been very happy here and I am always amazed by the breadth of activities she does in preschool which has really helped her confidence, her drawing and letter writing and recognition. She’s had brilliant key workers who she has always made a real bond with. My younger daughter has just started at Tiddlywinks and I know she will be getting lots of great experiences from day 1!

My daughter has been attending Tiddlywinks for nearly 4 years and I’ve been really impressed with the quality of care and development she receives. She is starting school in September and Tiddlywinks have played a massive part in her development to set her up nicely for school.

What a fantastic nursery, the staff are brilliant and the extent of activities, learning and food options, together with a mix of indoor and outdoor activities is second to none. The space and facilities available are excellent for child development and progression and my child loves going to nursery.

Tiddlywinks is a wonderful nursery and we’re so lucky to be able to send our daughter there. The staff are so friendly and welcoming and the environment they’ve created is perfect for our daughter to develop in.

My daughter absolutely loves Tiddlywinks York! She is always excited and happy to go to nursery. Conversations at home show that she has lots of friends and positive interactions with staff. She is actively flourishing under their guidance and is such a happy, well adjusted little girl. I have had lovely interactions with the staff who are always happy to discuss any concerns we have. As a relatively young child who is fully potty trained and very independent, they are brilliant at developing her skills and keeping her engaged throughout. The regular app updates with photos and next steps to focus on are extremely helpful for us to work on at home.

Tiddlywinks has been the most welcoming and loving environment for our daughter who has required additional input from the team around her to work on her delayed gross motor skills. They have gone above and beyond to work on her development, and she has thrived, making progress with all areas. She is clearly happy and content to be soothed by staff on an emotional drop off day and their reports of her day’s activities are always thorough. The daily feedback which includes pictures means we can chat to our daughter when she gets home about her day, using the pictures as visual cues for her reference which supports her language and also our opportunity to talk positively about her day. We have always been able to communicate quickly with a member of staff if required, either face to face, over the phone or via email. We would recommend Tiddlywinks to any local family, we have not had any issues or concerns with any element of our daughter's care there.
